From the games I have watched so far, Senegal and Egypt have outstanding teams.

It's unfair to keep blaming goalies all the time. Senegal is a better side, and the Cameroonians give them too much space in front of goal.
Onana is just unlucky... I pity him.

He stands behind useless defenders both club and country, yet takes all the blames.

Andre Onana... You for just respect yourself remain for England!

First off, you already annoyed many home fans by pointlessly staying back with United and missing the first game... Now, after showing up in your grand entry, you have already conceded more goals than the other keeper.

Who advises these players sef?!!

No redemption in sight for this young man! United fans are already praying for him to have an injury in Ivory Coast. Na wa o!!!

There were far better players then compared to now.

African footballers were more rugged, focused, skilled and disciplined.

AnY of the three can still qualify.. If Mozambique can beat Ghana and Cape Verde draw or beat Egypt. All Mozambique needs is to just win there game and hold on to final witsle.
That game will be hard for Egypt...!

Except Cape Verde decides to rest players, and throw the game (quite likely and the smart thing to do), it will be an uphill task for Egypt to beat them, and the Pharaohs desperately need to win.

Ghana needs to work real hard to beat Mozambique, and pray even harder that Egypt is surmounted by the flying Portuguese.

Just like that... An unknown Cape Verde becomes the first team to qualify out of the group stages.

...And they did it emphatically with 2 straight wins, and counting.

To cap it up, they are qualifying out of a group with heavy weights like Egypt and Ghana!

Afcon 2024 is yet full of surprises. cool

You loose your money because you're actually DUMB, not because something is wrong with the Nigerian banking system⚠️

If you're not technically inclined, please avoid using ATM cards and nothing will happen to money if you loose your phone!!!!

But, if you're smart and technically exposed like me.... First thing you do is to lock your alert sim with a unique password, then proceed to lock with your atm cards, bank apps and ussd with passwords. To be on a safe side, you can use one long unique password for all of them, linking them to just one mobile network which you have already passworded too.

And please do not share this details with anyone, whether with a friend, family or scammers impersonating bank staffs.

That way when you loose your phone, nobody can even access your mobile line talkless of your bank account😆😆

I have lost my phone severely times and nothing happened to my bank account 💯
Bless you for this!

The first rule of the crime-ridden Naija society:

Never have an ATM card for an account with huge savings! Have another account for expenses, and only credit what you need to spend at a given time.

Anyone who steals my ATM card will just be wasting his time.
Phones › Re: Once You Lose your Phone, You Lose All Your Money In Your Bank Account. by Angelfrost(m): 2:25pm On Jan 19, 2024
I remember when my phone got picked up at gunpoint... The very first thing I did on getting home was call MTN Customer Service to block the line.

God bless MTN for their round-the-clock and swift response... This call was made by 11:30 pm, and they responded fast.

As for the bank APP on the phone, that's strictly for my spending account! I'm not mad to leave huge savings on an account with an atm card or bank app!

Surviving in Nigeria is not for the weak or dull! Imagine the stress one has to go through just to keep his money safe. undecided

SharingIsLife:
The lopsided way most Nigerians judge issues gives me goose pimples! Why are you guys failing to recognize the obvious truth in what Deji said here?

What you'd say is that he didn't say the whole truth by failing to recognize the failure of Tinubu too. But, tell me how Wike shouldn't be held accountable for the recent rise in the insecurity levels in the FCT.

Is this not happening at the same time that Wike left his duty post to focus his toxic energy on Rivers? Should Wike have done that? And, is it fair for Wike to lay blames on the council chairmen for allegedly committing the exact same crime that Wike has been committing before our eyes?

As a matter of fact, if the council chairmen actually neglected their duties, Wike should have taken responsibility for them knowing it's his work as the FCT minister to help in coordinating the council chairmen. Why do we easily support evil in this country once it suits our warped and chauvinistic narratives?

Tinubu is responsible for the entire country. But when it comes to the FCT, Wike is largely responsible. But you all are failing to acknowledge this simple clear truth. Na wire oh!
I am not defending Wike, and I don't care about the idiot!

My issue is the silence of Mr. President and the sluggishness of the security chiefs.

Did Wike appoint himself??! Is he not under the President?!! Is he directly answerable to you?!!

In a Centralized system of leadership, the buck stops at the feet of the Commander-In-Chief.

Do you think Joe Biden would dare sleep or blink if Washington DC were under such a security threat??! Do you know how swiftly he would have declared a state of emergency and dealt with the situation within 48 hours??!

Let's say the truth! Nigeria is being poorly governed from the very top!

Defending nonsense..

What's the Job of an FCT minister when the City is a den of kidnappers and thieves

Wike that summoned a security meeting was daft to do so?..
zombies should know how to lick the hairy backside of their politicians.. and lick it well
Is the FCT Minister directly in charge of DSS, Police, and the Military??!

Let's start from there.

Does the FCT as well as other states have direct autonomy of Security infrastructure??!

If it offends me when people hang all the blames on Emefiele while excusing Buhari for the economic woes of Nigeria, wouldn't it be hypocritical to feel the exact opposite in this case?!!

You can hate Wike all you want... I despise the man too... However, leaving the entire blame for what's currently going on in Abuja at his feet makes no sense at all.

You are funny. What you failed to understand is that SE and SS always vote on the same pattern. No SE and SS people will vote for Tinubu. If the North turn their back on him e don go be that. Forget about rigging or whatever. The North will defend their vote at all cost. Same in SE.

Hmmm.
Don't be a miscreant and support the bad handiwork of Tinubu and then start counting your chickens before they hatch. It will shock you.
The North will fight back. I know them well enough.
They will dump APC and jump into NNPP enmasse in the North knowing LP and PDP with still erode APC in the south.
No region can win election on its own.
Two region need to support each other to win election. Tinubu APC cannot woo the SE to get their vote, he can only try to woo the north like he did in 2023. But if the north deny him the support, Otilor.
As if votes will count...!

As long as INEC and the Judiciary are in Tinubu's pocket, 2027 will be a landslide!

APC under Tinubu will only give up power when they are no longer interested... Or after fully burying this contraption. cool

Not charisma... Work rate.

Drogba and a lot of players around his time put in the work... They trained hard, took their careers really seriously, and never joked around on the pitch.

It's just sad that these current crop of players like Rashford, Sancho, etc, are far better paid yet don't put in enough effort.
