ImoleNaija:Both of you are right... But, try and understand his point. There is a reason some nations have a zero tolerance for terrorism... Why many don't negotiate with terrorists or kidnappers. The kidnapping situation will only get worse at this point... Why?!! They know they will always get paid. I even learnt that security agents like Police and soldiers are part of the kidnapping network across the nation. |
nairalanda1:Leave these terrorist enablers you call leaders. They know the solution to the problem: social reengineering and better security at state and local government levels. Unfortunately, they are not interested. |
Yeah... Let's keep pampering kidnappers and terrorists. You all should raise a trust fund worth Billions of Naira for settling Kidnappers in the future. That makes a lot more sense than actually equipping the security of the nation and tasking them to put a permanent end to insecurity...! Slow Country!!! |
Zxcvbnmghtr:Okay... So, those who were killed and lost loved ones in Plateau state should have joined security outfits?!! I get you now... You have said it all. Thank you. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:Easy for you to say so insensitively. If you have experienced the pain of loss from the victims of this national failure on security, you won't be so dismissive and defensive. The national and state leaders need to sit up! Period!!! |
ericmor:They've truly been patient with him... The team is just not it abeg. Their game pattern is totally shocking and unlike the Barcelona of time past... So predictable and beatable. |
pharmagba:When has showing concern about national security become catching cruise?!! ...And you claim to be a "Pharmacist"! What a shame!!! |
Ogiame:Not only is he clueless and hypocritical, the worst part is the silence and justification of most Nigerians especially from the South. We have suddenly lost our voices. Some even claim the fault is from the states and communities, that they are hiding the criminals and terrorists. Nigeria don cast finish. |
The worst part about this insecurity is the cluelessness of the nation and state leaders...! Things were not this rotten under Jonathan, yet the man was given no moment of peace by opposition and all Nigerians. Suddenly, all of you have lost your voices! Una come dey even justify this nonsense approach to national security like it's normal. Hand go meet all of una... E go touch everybody. |
Xavi has gone as far as he can go with this team... His sack is definitely loading. Barcelona literally struggles through almost every game... Even against minor opposition. |
Salah, how far na?!! ![]() So far, every team seems to be stepping up to the shock of the so called big dogs like Nigeria and Egypt. ![]() This will be an interesting Afcon year! |
flokii:The real question is why would people spend such high amounts to flee their nations?!! |
MD45:You have said it all...! Guinea Bissau that lost to Cote'divoire yesterday, played far better than what Super Eagles are doing now. |
It would be a shame for Super Eagles to draw or lose this game. Victory or nothing else!!! |
Chetas81:Don't mind them... Religious yet hypocritical. From morning services today, to nightclubs tonight. |
jaxxy:Unnecessary?!! That's a very dim and subjective perspective, my good man. ![]() |
CJStarz:Real cruise, my Oga!!! Every sector has been overrun with corrupt charlatans... Including sports. Speaking of Sports... Make 3 pm reach. Make I never talk. ![]() |
The so called woke clowns will come out to rant now...! ![]() A school is an institution of learning, and reserves the right to set up and enforce standards. |
CJStarz:Yeah... Since your health ministry has become too corrupt and moribund to care, other concerned sectors should spread the world. The prevalence of sexually transmitted infections that are either too difficult to treat or incurable is on the rise in most parts of the nation. It's shocking and sad that health ministry and NCDC are sleeping on their jobs. |
They should keep fvcking around like rabbits. HIV, Herpes, Hepatitis B, and Antibiotic-resistant Gonorrhea just dey spread anyhow. Once upon a time the health ministry was seriously sensitizing about these STIs, but nowadays, they just pocket the millions and billions meant for such preventive publicity. |
Fuckingmallam45:They are playing well... Just lack quality finishers. Both teams are good... Ivory Coast just has better strikers. |
Now, this is the improvement I'm talking about. End to end action on that pitch... Feels like an EPL Derby. Ivory Coast is a well structured and disciplined team, with so much fluidity and quality. I hope to see something as good as this or better than this from the Super Eagles if we stand any chance in this competition! Even Guinea Bissau didn't come to joke around... That's a good team being outclassed by an exceptional team. Take note @Princedapace |
Princedapace:I don't know what you're talking about...! Do you know when I started watching Afcon and how many I have seen till finals?!! African football quality has been depreciating for a while now. That's my opinion and perspective... It has nothing whatsoever to do with Super Eagles or Europe. |
Saw 2 of her movies, and I have to say... Lady can't act to save her life. |
Sigh... Who picked this outfit for Rema?!! ![]() Looking good can't and shouldn't be that hard for A list stars na. |
I just hope this won't be as boring as last tournament...! I pray Super Eagles stay longer this time around, even if they are highly unlikely to win it. Their presence seems to compel other teams to sit up... They have always been the spice of this Afcon, alongside Cameroon and Ghana. African football really needs to step up beyond this level... Can't believe we hard more exciting tournaments in the 90s and early part of the Millennium. |
Afcon gets boring every season...! The last one I watched and enjoyed was when Stephen Keshi of blessed memory took the boys to lift it... It was awesome. I also enjoyed the one where Zambia won a hard-fought final. These days, they play over defensive boring and crappy football... I hope this year will be different. Imagine last one that Senegal won, goals were so shockingly scarce. |
There can only be one... Late. Rashidi "Goal-monger" Yekini. |
A whole Capital city of the entire nation! Literally the backyard of Mr. President. SMH! If Abuja is unsafe, where then is safe in Nigeria?!! |
But, why always Southern Kaduna?! Why never Northern Kaduna?!! ...And why haven't they split that state into two separate states! ![]() Both have demarcated and dissociated from each other for decades now...! Makes no sense calling them one state while only the Muslim part has taken over everything including governance. |
Fineman2:Which other country if not your participating home country?!! Is this a serious question?!! ![]() |
Senegal and Algeria remain the teams to beat. The other top contenders include: Egypt Ivory Coast Morocco Normally, I suppose mention Cameroon... But, I come remember who their goalie be. ![]() All other teams came to mark the usual attendance... Yes, that includes the ones that call themselves Giant of Africa. ![]() |
