In some places, the groom doesn't even need to be physically present.... He can be represented by a close relative.

Going by these, Davido and Chioma are legally married.


Church or White Wedding is not an actual wedding... That's called Blessing or Solemnization of Holy Matrimony i.e the couple is already husband and wife before stepping into that church building once they have earlier done traditional rites.
