believe all these 1 billion Naira jamboree at your own peril. I did not even know about the movie until i saw this 1 billion this and that on NL.
Facts can't be hidden... The movie has been raving like crazy for weeks now.

I'm also not into Nollywood, but success doesn't hide.

Funke Akindele is the biggest thing in that space right now... Just coming after her last boxoffice hit "Omo Ghetto: The Saga".

The lady is bossing that industry... She has left many behind.

Happy for her... She has paid her dues, and put in the work.

She should just find her way into APC... The rest will be taken care of.

She should ask Aunty Abike how far.

The Corridors of power will not be a bad retirement plan. cool

FreeStuffsNG:
The refinery, which is undergoing an upgrade, will begin by processing 60,000 barrels per day, and NNPC expects to operate at the full capacity of 210,000 barrels per day later this year.
Awesome!!
This year has been from one good news after the other.

The naysayers, unpatriotic elements, cyberbullies and criminal defamers will neither see nor benefit from this.

Congratulations to everyone who made the realisation of this great milestone possible.
God bless Nigeria for ever!

God bless Nigeria for ever!
That's a very daft thing to say... Lol! grin

The naysayers will more than likely benefit more.

The world doesn't run on the fumes of hope and misplaced patriotism.

Haven't you heard that God causes the sun to shine both on the good and evil??! grin

Lol... Tariffs wey dem don already increase. tongue

The Inflation warming up this year is MONSTROUS!

DSTV rates will still go up.
Electricity Tariffs up the roof.
Transport costs higher.
Fuel Prices over the moon.

...And then the main one: Food Prices!!!

If your monthly income remains the same as last year or reduces this year, I really pity you... Forget cynicism or that Renewed Hope Scam; you will eat sand!

Family › Re: Why Do People See Calm and gentle People As Pastors? by Angelfrost(m): 1:31pm On Jan 05, 2024
That's what you get in a culturally religious enclave where decency and morality are largely ascribed to clergymen.

In Nigeria, piety is often closely linked with severe moderation of speech and actions.

So, if you speak, act, and show so little emotion, people conclude you are more spiritual-minded hence likely to be a man of the cloth.

Sigh... You didn't even mention the varying degrees and abundance of odors oozing out of human pores, buccal cavities, and other orifices. embarassed

The first and only time I went, I was deeply concerned about contracting skin and other infections... Should I even talk about the ringing in my ears hours after I left?!!

Well, those who enjoy such outings know what they love about these places... For me, it's a pure waste of time and money.

GloriousGbola:
One of the benefits of the way our society is now is reduced cash. It is only kidnappers that demand cash. It is only some traders and pos guys who keep viable amounts of cash on hand.

Only other option is the so called transfer theft which can easily be traced.
That's it... Once banks severely limit and diminish daily withdrawals as well as putting a cap on monthly withdrawals, kidnappers might have to move on to other businesses.

Now, you can't even stop and rob people on the road and make them part with valuables, cos most people nor hold again.

Internet fraud is getting more difficult now due to people becoming more wary and overprotective of their little savings.
Crime › Re: "If Change No Dey In 2months, I Go Start To Carry Gun" - Says Man by Angelfrost(m): 12:45pm On Jan 05, 2024
Well, except you are going after the wealth of Politicians and the very rich idiots you voted into office, then better go hustle harder or take a swim in that watery grave called Lagoon.

Cos it's ridiculously stupid to take all that risk for chicken feed your fellow citizens are managing.

Very soon, armed robbers will come out and protest that they aren't getting enough funds from those they rob. tongue

Even flies don lean finish.

The Nigerian business environment needs to change for the better, and fast.

I shudder at the thought of losing millions or billions worth of capital investment due to dumb government policies or failure in national and state leadership.

You can't prosper as a Capitalist or even mixed economy without a flourishing and conducive environment for small and medium scale businesses.

Your friend is lucky to have seen the red flags at this girlfriend juncture... Most guys are not that lucky, and end up marrying such unfaithfulness.

Every Corrupt Nigerian is never sick or healthy while living large off stolen wealth... Catch them in the act, and the beautiful health suddenly begins to 'deteriorate'.

It doesn't matter who he is... The issue is all over the squad.

The players don't sync well, and most of them lack match fitness, football intelligence, and experience due to lack of playing time (Most of these players are not regular starters in their clubs).

Well... Good luck to them. I have no hopes on the team.

MyVILLAGEpeople:
Your last statement got me. It’s a crime to be born poor in this Nigeria. No hope and no one is coming to help. The future is so bleak. The wealthy are already spending millions of dollars buying up passports of strong countries for their children. They know there is no hope for now.
Dear friend, ignore these anti-japa liars...!

Let's face the truth!

Every elected leader and politician in Nigeria, starting from President Tinubu down to Peter Obi have all given up on Nigeria long ago.

They merely contest to fulfill their life ambitions, and add to their personal achievements.

The last President we had that truly worked for this nation was Obasanjo, and Late. Yar'adua to some extent.

Naija might be lost for good!

This is not pessimism... Nothing short of a bloody revolution will reboot this nation.
Politics › Re: EFCC Freezes ₦‎30 Billion NSIPA Cash Traced To Private Accounts by Angelfrost(m): 9:29am On Jan 04, 2024
Sigh... Forget the development of this nation!

Not with this historic and shocking level of unrepentant and unrelenting Corruption.

No policy or directive or whatever is going to yield anything meaningful or long-term...!

Clearly, Nigeria can not be managed and nurtured to greatness by Nigerians.

Quote me anywhere... Let every cent and Kobo of our debt be written off today, these bastards will plunge the nation into twice more debt through corruption in less than a decade.
Politics › Re: Photos Of NSCDC Official, Nurudeen, Who Died After Stepping On Explosives by Angelfrost(m): 9:24am On Jan 04, 2024
Sigh... What exactly was he doing strolling around an explosion site?!!

It's basically common sense that such areas should be cordoned off till bomb specialists comb it for any undetonated devices.

We need to train our security agents better... Such senseless loss of life would have been averted if simple global safety standards were adhered to.

The children of the poor masses you mean, Because, I don't see Seyi Tinubu or Yusuf Buhari or their grandchildren paying any debt.

Not even Obasanjo's great grandchildren.

Let the children of the poor brace up for the payments.
Yeah... The children of these dumb brainwashed poor will suffer immeasurably and produce more sufferheads.

The future of this nation is bleaker than many of us care to accept.

It is scary to look far ahead... Salvation is nowhere in sight.
Politics › Re: Coming Generations Will Have To Pay Nigeria’s Current Debts – Obasanjo by Angelfrost(m): 9:15am On Jan 04, 2024
Coming generations can't pay Nigeria's debt, Sir.

They can never afford it.

The hole your generation has dug this nation into is a bottomless one... You all have sold the future of generations unborn.

Only a merciful debt forgiveness by the creditors will save the future generations.

That's why every wise and wealthy Nigerian is already securing the futures of his or her children and children's children in developed nations without the restrictions to growth burying this nation into oblivion.
