Grupo: You people keep missing an important factor. Nigeria is not a nation. It's not about the size but national identity. Nigeria has no national identity.
The Chinese you mentioned are homogeneous people with the same language. China can be described as a nation.
US too is a perfect description of a nation.
Nigeria is a union of various nations. The type of dictatorship or system you talk about can never work in a multi national country like Nigeria. So what is the way forward from your point of view that will make Nigeria work or are you saying that Nigeria will remain like this forever because we are a union of various nations |

Donbrig: Nigerians are the problem Sir, our politicians are only helping us to further ruin our future, because our leaders are products of our decayed society. The main thing that changed in Nigeria is the way we raise our children, both in school and at home. The children we didn't train properly 15, 20, or 30yrs ago are now a big threat and burden to our society. The way a country trains their kids or young ones always have a primary role to play in the society at large, that is why I have sworn never to train my kids in Nigeria, the kind of society we have in Nigeria today is the most unfit to raise up normal and responsible children. Well said |

OgogoroFreak: That's where you go wrong. The problem is not Nigerians. Most Nigerians travel out and automatically start doing better than they were in Nigeria. What actually changed? Think about it. He talked about the size of of Rwanda not up to Ogun state and hence my response that size is not a determining factor for citizens to comply with law and order, some Nigerians do well outside the Shores of the country because they are forced to obey the laws of their host country or else they will be sanctioned, the same person that ignores traffic lights in lagos will comply with it abroad, you know why because you can't break their laws and go free l, once drove a car in 60km road in the West and I mistakenly exceeded my speed limits to 70km, it was not deliberate, I was flagged down with their camera, they checked my drivers license and discovered that I have never had any traffic problem in all my years in the country, the officer was shocked but he said that because I had a clean record, that he will give me a small fine of 25 dollars and I left him, paid it the same day via online payment My point is that the systems / laws abroad or anywhere with a strong leadership is working |

Grupo: Smh! That Kagame approach can never work here.
Remember, the entire Rwanda may not be up to the size of ogun state. The size of a country does not determined how citizens complies with laid down rules and regulations, China is bigger than Nigeria, although a brutal regime but you can read what is going on in China, US is bigger than Nigeria in population even though we Nigeria claims to practice the same democracy like that of the US but the US is working but Nigeria is in auto _reverse Nigeria needs a Kagame / Chinese kind of leadership with koboko to punish offenders or a Middle Eastern kind of leadership other than that, Nigeria will likely continue to go in cycles, back to my silent reading mode |

NL1960: They will not work because the beneficiaries are the leaders, politicians and the law makers. So they will never allow such laws. A friend of mine always say that democracy is not for developing countries like Nigeria and other Africa countries.
You need a 'mad' man to come in and clean up this mess with strong arm. Who no gree obey should be sent to Sambissa forest with a bag of dollars to spend there. That is what the BUTCHER OF EAST AFRICA called President Kagame of Rwanda is doing, I visited in one of my vacation trips, he holds koboko laden with chilly pepper to flog shege comot from Rwandanese citizens body, no wonder corruption is on its lowest ebb or not openly noticeable, Nigeria needs a Kagame to get the country moving, Rwanda is the cleanest country in Africa, security is top notch, street fighting attracts 6months imprisonment, Adultery Na 7 years, stealing government money, just flee Rwanda or else Kagame will butcher you, you can walk the streets of Rwanda 24 hours and you are absolutely safe. My only problem with Kagame is you are not allowed to speak against him nor critique his government and he is more like an Emperor of the country other than that, he is trying, Nigeria needs a koboko welding leader like Kagame, the pictures below is what Kagame does to stubborn Rwandanese citizens

Christianity Etc › Re: 5 Reasons Christians Should Share Testimonies In Church - Tunde Korede by AngelicBeing: 1:02pm On Aug 30, 2020 |
TundeKorede: A lot of believers are oblivious to the benefits embedded in sharing testimonies in Church. Although, testimonies are not to be shared in Church alone, they can be shared at home too.
In this article, we shall examine the biblical reasons for sharing testimonies. My belief is that you will join the league of testifiers in Church after reading this blogpost.
Five Reasons Why You Need To Share Your Testimonies In Church (1) To Strengthen The Faith Of Others
David shared the testimony of how he killed a lion and a bear with King Saul. After sharing the story, Saul’s faith in the God David served was strengthened.
1 Samuel 17:36-37 [36]Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
[37]David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the LION, and out of the PAW OF THE BEAR he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee. If David didn’t share that testimony with Saul. He would not have allowed him to go and fight the Philistine. Saul knew that if a man could overcome a lion, the king of the jungle. He should be able to overcome any warrior in life.
When we share our testimonies in Church, we strengthen our faith and the faith of others. If you share the testimony of how you labored and gave birth afterwards. There are some pregnant women whose faith will be strengthened.
In other words, we boost the faith of others when we share testimonies in Church. Testimony makes people to foresee possibilities and eradicate every form of impossibilities.
(2) Jesus Expects You To Share Your Testimony Ten lepers were healed by Jesus and only one out of them came to Jesus to share his testimony. And Jesus responded saying;
Luke 17:16-17 [16]And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. [17]And Jesus answering said, WERE THERE NOT TEN CLEANSED? BUT WHERE ARE THE NINE?
This statement explains the fact that Jesus expected all the ten healed lepers to share their testimonies. But it was only one person who came back to give thanks.
Till today, Jesus expects us to go to where we have been healed and share our testimony. He expects us to give the testimony of how he saved us. He expects us to share the testimony of how he blessed and protected us.
Do not be an ungrateful believer. When we share testimony, it shows our hearts of gratitude. It enables the Lord to know that we appreciate Him for what He has done. It is not enough to tell you friends. Go to the person God used for you and share your testimony.
After Jesus healed the madman of Gadarenes. He told him to go and testify to his people at home;
Mark 5:19 [19]Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
Be a testifier! Don’t be an ingrate!
How To Know You Are In a Wrong Relationship
(3) To Bring Many People To Christ It was the testimony of Jesus that the Samaritan woman shared with her friends that made many to believe Christ.
John 4:39 [39]And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, WHICH TESTIFIED, He told me all that ever I did.
The woman was not an ingrate. She didn’t hide under the canopy of being a shy type of a woman. She went around and publicise the ministry of Christ. Her testimony was enough for many Samaritans to believe in Jesus.
Therefore, testimonies bring people to Christ. There are people who will never be captivated by exegesis of the Scriptures. But there are people who will be captivated by true life stories of how Christ librates men. These men need our testimony!
Never hesitate to share the testimony that will bring many to Christ. Your testimony of healing can make an unbeliever to accept Christ.
(4) It’s The Secret Of Victors Revelation 12:11 [11]And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Victorious believers will always have testimonies to share. When David overcame Lion and a bear, he had a testimony to share. Those who want to ensure consistent dominion over the works of the devil must be consistent testifiers.
The more you share your testimonies, the more God blesses you. The more you appreciate Him before many people. The more He will continue to give you songs of praise and reasons to share testimonies.
To be a victor, you must be a consistent testifier.
Biblical Reasons Why You Should Celebrate Your Birthday
(5) To Make God’s Grace Known To People 1 Corinthians 15:9-10
[9]For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. [10]But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Paul, the apostle, shared his testimony of how God located him through grace. He maintained that everything he achieved was by the grace of God.
Testimony validates the grace of God upon our lives. We are not ascribing glory to ourselves but to God. When glory is given to God, He blesses us and sees our humility.
Paul was humble enough to ascribe his success to God’s grace. This is exactly what we do, when we share our testimonies.
Warning!!! • No man of God is to be exalted while sharing testimony. Testimony should be shared in order to return glory to God and strengthen the faith of others.
• We don’t share testimonies to showoff but to recognize God’s grace.
• Believers should desist from sharing fabricated stories in order to stir the faith of men. Be plain and be truthful whenever you share your testimony In Church.
• It is not really polite to share a testimony of a work that is not complete. For example, there is no point sharing a testimony that you have gotten pregnant when you have not given birth. If you want to do that, do it wisely.

Meanwhile, I see a whole lot of these rich Muslims & Arabs in Europe flexing & enjoying a liberal society, and I laugh at their hypocrisy. For legal professionals to think along religious lines in a secular society like Nigeria, which has national laws just tells you that based on ideology, they are not so different from Boko Haram extremists..it's just that these northern muslim lawyers don't live & practice law in Sambisa. Please advice me on this. Hian

SmartProf: So you alone has 2 minds and u want to add up the minds of all other Nairalanders before u will have sense on a straight forward issue. What u did is called looting, but you are lacing it with sugarcoated explanations, that's why u are battling with guilt cos u didn't obtain the money directly as a gift from your Oga. But be assured that once you show him the money, u have shown yourself the way out and he wont settle U, cos he will never believe u don't have more looted funds stocked up somewhere. Since you've taken to this and you call it proceeds from profits, u must be stable enough to handle it, but if it was stolen then karma awaits you. If you are still confused, maybe your Oga prayer points in mountain of fire has caught up with you, it's time to go for confession and restitution b4 you develop high blood pressure on the small money u looted but cannot spend it. Lol at mfm prayers, it's like this >>>> any satanic agents stealing and swallowing my money physically or spiritually, be exposed and disgraced and fall down and die in Jesus name |
