Romance › Re: Prince Obukeni Monday Ochendu Marries Two Ladies Same Day In Delta (Photos) by Angy55(f): 8:39am On Oct 28, 2018 |
I know the category of isoko ladies that indulge in such act without shame. Poverty is a disease. Go to school and be educated, travel and see life with a different perspective, they won't. All they talk about is marriage! Marriage! Marriage!. Marriage is a good thing we all know. But shame on to them. And shame be unto their families that supported the act.
To the Prince this is an achievement. Maybe his father has many wives but sure I know his father didn't marry all his wives same day. Wasted generation. Instead of him to use his time to think of something innovative. |

Crime › Re: Man brutalised a lady after losing N200 bet in Delta. by Angy55(f): 8:16pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
Issame: A sour loser resorted to begging, yesterday, after brutalizing a lady at a Nairabet shop in Delta mall, Delta State.
It was gathered that he lost his cool after losing a N200 net and took out his frustration on the lady by using a bucket to hit her left eye.
However, he took to begging profusely after he was handed over to a military officer present at the scene.
The man, who admitted that he was wrong, promised to take responsibility of the medical bills of his victim, but he was eventually whisked away by the police.

Romance › Re: I Am Thinking Of Quitting My Relationship, Please Advise Me On What To Do by Angy55(f): 5:35pm On Oct 16, 2018 |
safarigirl: women are emotionally and mentally stronger than men. YES! Just because you bring a few coins out does not give you mental and emotional strength. Who is the lots that don't want to work for their money? Most homes in Nigeria today are surviving because of the woman
Millions of Nigerian women are working hard everyday, putting food on the table and providing for their children while covering their husbands' shame by lying to everyone that he is the one paying. Nigerian women are resilient, they are surviving. Most of them work multiple jobs, they not only work in civil service, they are also business women. Hardly will you find a married woman in Nigeria who isn't working two jobs and trying to make ends meet
I don't know where you people are meeting these leeches you surround yourself with, but most of the women I know are hardworking women who provide for their families without making noise. I know women who pay their kids fees. When my mother was alive she was paying I and my sister's school fees, she doled out 500k per year for our school fees, and let me not even count the clothes she always bought and the snacks she got from work everyday. My father only had to pay my little brother's fees. They both paid house rent with combined salaries, same with food.
Stop judging millions of women based on the ten or so you know. Are your sisters also leeches? Are you judging women based on stories on social media? The woman in Niger state that is entering a farm to break firewood, harvest cassava and cook, is she on social media? You think I am talking about the small girls you men enjoy courting? People that can barely stand on their own, are those ones women?
Nigerian women are strong and resilient. Women will always be emotionally stronger than men. Millions of women are living without husbands, many of them widows, they are making it work, they are surviving. The minute a man's wife dies, he is already hunting for another woman. Men only have brute force, they do not know what mental and emotional strength is. They will never understand it I love you sweetheart. |

chineloSA: I support women empowerment, but I am no Feminist.
I will join Feminists the day we eradicate racism on the face of the earth.
We will then have gender problems only. All women of all races will be fighting to be equal to men of all races.
Feminism is a white women's battle and has got nothing to do with us. Where we stand now white women are using us to fight their battles when Africans are fighting bigger battles of racism. Racism meted to us by white women.
Black( Africans ) face racism from all races and they want to divert our attention from that big problem which is even perpetuated by white women.
Let's equalise race first before gender.
All white people should fight to remove all privileges meant for them before we remove privileges meant for all men.
As far as I am concerned African men are equally victims. They get discrimated again from all angles. African men and women are fighting the same battle of racism against us.
White people use feminism to remove attention from racism that they daily commit against us.
Bleep them. Team womanist.. I concur |

I have a pastor friend who is in almost the same situation. Marriage is just 4 months old. The wife has left home and gone back to the former though the former, they weren't legally married. Pretence every where. She even had a child for the former. The former just came back from no where and madam has gone hay wire.
I just feel 60% of marriages these days are all built on lies and deceit. Last month I read a story here, where a young man also was complaining bitterly, that her wife isn't who he thinks she is. And he stated he prayed fervently and was so sure that was his wife. They courted before getting married.
Even this prayers of knowing mr and mrs right, does it really work? I'm beginning to doubt.
May God help us that are still single. AMEN! |
