I would have preferred they set you with the money spent on the wedding. Wedding is just a day, why spending heavily when they know you aren't buoyant?

This is Africa where show off is the order of the day. Oyibo man go will part of the company shares to the in-law instead of lavish wedding.
Crime / Re: Stealing Of Pots Of Cooked Soup Increases In Enugu by Angy55(f): 6:34am On Nov 12, 2021
Stealing pots of soup is not a new thing. As a little kid growing up in the village then the thieves moved my mama stove with the hot banga soup that she was cooking. I can still remember series of incidence that has occurred and I have heard till now.

I don't see why this should be news.

Before that visitation,I visited last two years when I needed mothers comfort, just little headache,my mother said it was the enemies trying to harm me.

That let's go to church so her pastor could pray for me.i reluctantly followed her to church and due to the pastors flows and yarnings,we spent like 6 hours at that particular church.

In all fairness, the pastor get flows...he ended up dashing me one bottle of holy Communion, but let's not kid ourselves,I know say na zobo he dash me.

Time for praises came,we danced, time for deliverance came, those that were swirling were swirling in the spirit that was controlling them.

Mother just cudnt let me be...instead of her to concentrate on her own deliverance, let me concentrate on mine.

I cud hear my mum breaking inside the circle, whispering in my ear....Ejiro fall nau,you nor wan fall?

Is it not almost the same thing as having heavy thunder storms that one would be scared? This one our pastor righteousness is preaching.

You see, there are few people who use credit cards in Nigeria because the issuers know they are credit-worthy.

Try to make friends with someone who works with those online companies that lend Nigerians money, the person will tell you how useless Nigerians are.

The rate of default is extremely high and some shameless Nigerians will even threaten or insult you for asking them to repay the money they borrowed.

Besides, those countries that use credit cards have what they call credit score and track your spendings and earnings. If you default, the government will clear it, but you are finished because you will hardly get something on credit again unless you consult experts to help you build it again.

Na Buhari wey never loot our money finish dey come clear your bad credit history? undecided

An average Nigeria person is a scammer. I'm currently working with a company that gives out products on loan. Thank God the company is smart enough to put a software from the manufacturers, once your paid time is finished it would lock. But we still have people trying to manuevrr but we are smarter than them.

How can you buy a product worth over 150k, your initial deposit/first only is maybe 20k-30k and you go and resell to another person. Their mind is always at scamming their fellow man. I pity people who buy fairly used stuffs expecially technology here in Nigeria expecially Lagos.

2 weeks ago I boarded a bus at night coming from shoprite at Sangotedo to Ajah bus stop. A lady whose husband is a bus driver was called to come to somewhere along that road to meet her husband whose bus broke down. She said she called her husband on his phone but it was off so she went believing it was him who was using the other persons phone. She got to the place she was told her husband's bus was only to see no bus there. When she called the number she was told she should wait there that they are coming to pick her from there to where her husband was. She joined us on the bus back to Under bridge. I recall driver telling her to thank her God she didn't wait for them to come and pick her. This was 2 Saturdays back around 8pm.
Pls be safe this period especially if you are looking for a job.

Politics / Re: 33 States May Not Pay Salaries As ₦172bn Deduction Grounds Revenue Disbursement by Angy55(f): 12:27pm On Oct 25, 2021
DOTian:
I have a question oo..

My question is this:
Are states created just to pay salaries?
I mean whenever we are talking about the economic abilities of Nigerias states, nobody talks about their inabilities in the areas of provision of power, water, transport services, housing, training of their citizens, hospitals, quality parks and hospitals and markets and...

What we talk about is the payment of salaries!
I mean some inebriated military officers sat in their officers mess over bowls of nkwobi and hot stout, then decided to create states whimsically, just to provide salaried jobs for all sorts of political turncoats, village henchmen and mercenary hirelings? These strange people will then be crammed into a dead civil service, where they will visit the office every month end just to collect salaries.., and even after they retire, they will be on state pensions.

Essentially states were created in Nigeria as the platform toes tribute Niger Delta oil to the rank and file? Since no state has been able to showcase any sort of inventive leadership for years now. Again why do the the federal government destribute oil proceeds to all states in the federation? When are we going to start getting our fair share from Cocoa sales and the bountiful earnings from Kano groundnut pyramids?

Congratulations!!! Bros, You don blow ooo

Just find correct Lawyer grin grin grin

Something of such happened in Lagos here 9 years ago, the tenant rented an half plot, I don't really know how much he pays then for the rent, but he wasn't paying very well. He was owing the landlord a year rent.

He built a restaurant and bar on the land.

One day, Landlord got angry and arranged boys to destroy the man's shop. They destroy the walls without going inside not touching anything. The man told me this himself because I was going to rent part of the the land for my viewing center business that I wanted to open at the area then.

He reported the case to the police and got himself a lawyer because he was educated and an Ebo man. He took pictures for evidence and told the Judge that he left 5 million naira in his bar, his lawyer asked him to say that.

They charged the man to court and he explained what led to his actions but the Judge punished him by asking him to pay 8 million for damages or he can forget the land, and it belongs to the tenant until otherwise.

The man begged his tenant but he refused and got stroke. So, his children went to the man to beg and he asked them to go and bring 3 million and he will drop the case. Till today, the tenant has been using the land as he likes and renting it to other tenants like he owns it. The owner is late now so and the children never see 3m.

This happens at Aguda Ogba Lagos.

Congrats again grin grin grin grin

Hhhmmmm. People are terrible Sha. Make the man get conscience nau. Na wa oo. Even though The real land owner did wrong.
