Once they have sent messages to your contact, you're not entitled to pay them anymore. But you can still go ahead if you wish.

Sorry to break the news to you pal, but if you don't pay, they'd mess up your credit reports. It doesn't sound like that can do you any harm now till much later when you're ready to have proper financial dealings with banks, either MFB or commercial. That's when it'd come back to bite you and you'll pay every single penny.

Some employers even run a credit report on you before employment. What am I saying sef,
banks won't give you machine for POS business if your credit report is showing any unpaid loan

This is only possible with the registered loan companies, those rogue loan apps cannot do anything to your credit score or you dealings withe the bank.
If you use CRC bereau to check your credit info, you can only see the registered apps there, even if you're owing 100 of those unregistered rogue loan apps, none will feature in your credit report.

This is not true, the moment you give them access to your contacts,it is saved on their database, so even if you delete the app it doesn't matter.

Don't pay them a dime again!!!
I repeat not a dime!!!
As a matter of fact for every of your contacts they sent messages or called spread the total money on them and inform the app that since they have called your contacts they have collected their money, shikina!

Thanks for this ur contribution... I made the worst mistake ever, borrowed from a loan app to pay a debt because the person was insulting me..

Now I'm struggling to pay the loan app, the intrest is adding everyday.. I'm even giving up already.. The little I'm able to pay back is not even reducing it because of the way the intrest is adding..

We all made a mistake falling into loan app trap.
Don't loss your peace over it.
Xcash did this to me, kept clearing little by little but interest kept swallowing it all up
If you it's the registered loan apps, talk to their agents they give discounts.
But if it those rogue loan apps, pay off as much as you can and forget it once interest keeps increasing.

I was once at this point.
1st time owed a total of 290k, I sha struggled to pay it with my sis help.
2nd time almost 500k, I nearly died.
1st off don't overthink it, when you begin to overthink it, you then become pressured.
The worst thing most of this loan apps can do is to defame you. Try talking to them to give you more time, and pay little by little if you have the money. NB: don't borrow to pay any loan app, doesn't end well.
However, if any of them defames you, don't bother to even pay them again.
In all trust God to help you and don't put yourself under pressure.
You will be fine.

If you knew oshodi when it was rugged you would know koko Zaria always sends his boys to collect money from people selling goods in oshodi market and every 24th of DEC he comes by himself, you should see what happens to people who don't pay, mind you this was before he joined NURTW when Oluomo was still in charge of tasking oshodi.
