Dental experts accepted that the African practice of using the chewing stick to clean the mouth is superior to the chemically based tooth-brush and tooth-paste. Unfortunately colonised and mentally enslaved Africans refused to accept this medical fact by stubbornly sticking to chemical tooth-pastes. It is a fact that the chewing stick is natural and does not harm the body, while the chemical components of the tooth paste is unknown to the African users and it enters the blood stream through the gum. University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University has concluded 40 years ago that the chewing stick is superior to a tooth brush. Another glaring fact is that African soils is poisoned by the millions of used tooth brushes that litter the land (Africa doesn't have recycling technology), while the chewing stick doesn't poisoned the ground rather it decomposes naturally in the soil. One tenth of the money spent on the importation of tooth brush and tooth pastes will go a long way in empowering our people in developing the chewing stick trade which may help in the reduction of poverty. Imagine how many children and adults diseases have been triggered by the chemicals in this tooth-pastes.
You are correct about the chewing stick effects, I actually have tried both, and both work just good. Despite the minor effects of tooth brush and tooth paste. However I don't think it should be a big deal, it is inevitable. To me I don't see anything wrong with using both, it is up to africans what they chose |

@shollypopz Hi, this thread is a circus, lol |
TerryCarr: shows what you know https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5e/Soccer_football.png Ybutterfly: This is funny, any way from what I am seeing both of you are right, Soccer is not only a American term but the majority of the countries in the world use Footbal or Futbal and etc as the term at the sametime. So depending on the way you look at it both sides wins |
how st.upid of me. im sorry i think i was thinking about the thread i made in reply to onila's at that time. i was thinking of reviving it.
ok, lol |
ifyalways: Considering all the gadgets and technologies at the disposal of the western/modern women, I'll say the African woman is physically, more hard working.cosign |
btw thanx for this thread onila. i will be creating a new thread soon on this issue about real action to be taken by fellow Nigerians.
Onila didn't do this thread, it was anonymous6 |

sweetroyalty: It is unfortunate that not all humans are treated equally in this world, but maybe you and I can start with each other and let the positivity spread... It's can be contagious.True |
sweetroyalty: Ain't nothing wrong with being proud of who you are... He!! I'm proud to be an AMERICAN through and through, but what it all boils down to is that when cut we bleed the same, when hurt we cry the same, when happy we smile the same. We're HUMAN first.yeah we are Human but humans are not treated equally in this world amongst one another but i get what you are saying |
sweetroyalty: What matters most is that we're all 100% human.Yeah which is obvious, we all know we are human but I am proud to be Yoruba to though |
why should i preach to people who i consider my foes?? to me only tribals matter be it here in Nigeria or in the cold mountains of Siberia or the wampy jungles of Papua New Guinea. we are the original peoples. The True original Bedu Arabs are brown-skinned. i have seen them. they are spread in the Guld states and they hardly care for colour. som are sun-burnt black but they have strong tribal unity. i am talking of the Bedu.
Well makes sense tribe is the order of the day in Nigeria before nationalism or race but because of colonization color has had importance to black cafricnas but it never takes precedence over tribe in Nigeria, and thats why inter marriage between black diasporians and nigerians are not encouraged by majority of nigerians. So dont get me worng tribal culture is impirtant to me but I am just telling in reality sometimes things are not always clear cut |
it is time you stop being rascist based on colour. these are all foreing western concepts. colour hardly matters and can change due to external factor. who cares about black or yellow. what matters is identity. populations are growing in 3rd world countries due to poverty, illitracy, disease and lack of acess to contraceptives.
This is not racist due to skin color Color and culture go hand in hand pagan sometimes, go and preach that to arabs in north africa or white afrikaneers in south africa and see the response you get. Identity is important, which I agree with as you say and that is what is effecting some black diasporians today. |
Fulaman198: So yes, we live in a Brainwashed world/society. I think sooner or later everyone is going to have a tannish/brown complexion and the extremely dark people or extremely light people (black and white) will no longer exist. I don't care much for this, what I don't want is the disappearance of indigenous cultures.Ingenious cultures will always exist at least in Africa and Asia because these regions are not multiracial/multicultural like America is. Black africans will always exist and we will see more brown people(mixed) however mostly in the western world but white populations No because their populations are decreasing and thy are having less kids. while Black populations are increasing in the caribbean and Africa. I feel most brown people as you said will be in brazil or south America for example Why do you think the populations growing in the world are in Asia and africa while it is the reverse in Europe |
naijarican: He's Yoruba.Oh good, Im Yoruba 100% |
no way. i am Nigerian and tribesman. are you teaching me !! 95 % of Naija marry their own tribes (the pure ones). and you go too far. i can never say that. show me a quote from my archive.i might have referred to isolated cases of blood dilution and predominance of the stronger blood which migh have occurred with larger ethnic groups to which the tribes belonged. E.g., between 2 Nilotic or 2 Bantu Tribes but as a general rule it is banned.
Intertribal marriage is not encouraged and majority of Nigerians marry their own tribe and it will always be like that but when intertribal marriage does happen there are some silent rules To be honest I cant remember which quote or thread you said this, it was awhile ago but I know you mention something about it in the ancient time of Africa |
it is YOU who is creating this order. not among the rest.
No, Pagan this is a common rule among Nigerians, even though tribal marriqges are not really encouraged. If I am not mistaken you mentioned how their have been intertribal marriages among africans in the ancient times once in another thread awhile ago I am nit encouraging or discouraging it but when intertribal marriages happen, it is said that the kids claim the fathers tribe even though it becoming different now since the mothers culture is what rules in the end of the day with that rule now a days compared to the ancient world in africa but in the western world that rule is irrelevant, and is becoming that a little now in Africa. |
naijarican: That is true. My father is half naija and half american, and in his eyes he is Nigerian. What tribe is his nigerian side from |
Too bad you attracted the bleeped up ones..... They say the birds of the same feathers flocks together.....oops!
Whatever, I didnt just attract the messed up ones or good ones, it just happen I met who I met. I dont go around disrespecting people so whatever you are trying to imply keep it to yourself; I already told naijaircan earlier I have met good and bad ones. Dont insult me, I dont know you and you dont know me. It is not obligatory that you respond to me |
that is a very useless post. Hausa, Igbo, Mande and Fulani are completely different ethnic groups. if we intermarry, our tribes will die out because unlike muslims who have always sought to destroy tribal structure, we are tribespeople and only blood matters to us, not the paternity. how does that make us any different from the akata if we all start assimilating each other. we will be left with a shell of a cultue, while the real people will be long dead. no way Fula. being a part of a Tribe entails you to social responsibiliteis towards your people. you carry your fulani tag around with pride only becuase your parents did their duty. if you cannot do this basic duty, then stop calling yourself Fulani and just be African or as the akata say, black.
When it comes to Africa, tribal marriages are steadly low especially among Nigerians and in Africa the rule is who ever the father is, is what the children become. That is the order of the day in Nigeria. It is in the western world where that rule goes out the window. |
Instead of acting like those ignant arse Americans....dont act like an ignant arse African and intriduce it to them. Have it ever cross your mind that they may have tried to learn but were shooed away? No...it hasnt....too busy thinking everyone ignant becaise you may be...
Most of the ones I have bumped into already made up their minds what they want to think of Africa, and when I get a negativity at the same time from them, why should I put the effort or even bother to be honest. Sorry but most Americans regardless of race are ignorant about what goes on outside america, I wasnt but when you bump into enough you make your own opinions about them. |
