The way lot on this forum hyperventilate on any news about Tinubu,makes me wonder are they really that scared of the possibility of Tinubu's Presidency if we should go by all the insult and negative downtalking on this man then i see no reason why anyone should be hyperventilating on news regarding this Man cos by me then there shouldn't be any cause for alarm, isn't it?

No doubt, he is not in the best state of health. But he is the only one showing seriousness. Tinubu is everywhere. Even while outside the country, the Media is with him because he and his associates control the Nigeria's Media space. However, others declare their intentions and go back to their villages to sleep.

Or has anyone seen Pius Anyim in Pius since the day he declared his intention? How many times has anyone since Peter Peter Obi? Where is Kingsley Moghalu? Where is Rotimi Amaechi? Where is Roachas Okorocha? The other two people that are pretending to be campaigning are Judas Osinbajo and Wike the wicked one.

Nobody will vote for a VP that failed for 7 years, and we aren't voting for unserious nincompoops. Let them all come out and tell us what they have to offer.

Everyday i see PYO as a blatant betrayal. He can't become Nigeria President bet me. He was pushed to declared, and sabotage the rescue effort to save Nigeria. Clearly, those who think he can be manipulated are seriously behind him to divid Asiwaju vote in the south west and cause division. It's only the right thinking we understand what's going on. Peter Obi isn't at all Presidential material except in the sight of Easterners. You better send him to Senate and let him prove his National political prowess instead. He isn't in anyway different from other flopped Governors with nothing special to show but propaganda. If u are talking abt workaholic Governors he can't be mentioned, and he isn't in the same class with El Rufai, Kwankwaso, Sule Lamido, Prof. Zulum, Ganduje, Shehu Shema among others but all these are struggling for National relevance

Politics is a game of popularity, However Bola Tinubu is not the most popular person in APC, the truth is that while Tinubu is arguably the most popular contestant for the presidential ticket of the APC, he had failed to understand that the most popular person in APC is President Mohamed Buhari and irrespective of the fact that Buhari is not going to be on the ballot, he still commands a remarkable cult following.

The Best thing for APC could have been a consensus candidate, Buhari maybe docile but his popularity shouldn't be tested as it could end in terrible clash. Buhari had been a serial contestant even before he became the president and despite insecurity impacting his overall performance, it would be funny that he can still perform the hand of God if boxed to a corner.

If I were Tinubu, I would anoint my own presidential candidate preferably Fashola and avoid going head on with Buhari on what may seem like an Impending collision with Buhari and his Cabals. Tinubu is popular, but in the current dispensation he is the second most popular person in APC. Just because Buhari is not contesting doesn't mean he should be taken for granted and the battle line seems drawn already.

Maybe this test of popularity could have been settled in 2015, the fact is that Buhari have a complex issue and he can't stand the kind of competition Tinubu brings to the table, it makes Buhari question his place in APC, because by default, the president ought to be the most significant person in his political party, but with the level of tussle in APC and several struggle each time Buhari needed to prove that he is currently the head of the party and indeed Nigeria, the reality of the presidency being in charge of the party structure becomes questionable.

I really want to enjoy watching how the fight goes, I want to believe that Buhari is the most popular person in APC but so far he seem to have a contestant in Bola Tinubu, Mr. President needs to prove his popularity once again in the most honourable manner.

It may seem funny until you understand that in most states, state governors have a big impact on deciding their successor but President Buhari couldn't, well the fight is a win for our democracy, I hope it comes with a minimal cost.

The Federal High Court (FHC) sitting in Abuja on Thursday delivered a judgement in favour of Cross River Governor, Prof Ben Ayade; and his deputy, Prof Ivara Esu, in respect of their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Ayade won on principle of stare decisis. Stare decisis is the doctrine that courts will adhere to precedent in making their decisions. The Judge also held that the court cannot remove a governor sworn-in on the basis of defection.

The Judge, Justice Taiwo Taiwo, came in at exactly 2:15 pm. After the introduction of appearance for the PDP and others, reading of judgement commenced.

The court was full to capacity. Present in court were two governorship aspirants, Barrister Chris Agara and Arc Edem Duke; APC Cross River State Chairman Alphonsus Ogar Eba; Rt Hon Mike Etaba; Senator Stephen Odey; and Cross River State Attorney General/Commissioner for Justice, Barr Tanko Ashang.

Also present were Barr Pius Onigah, Comrade Nchor Kingsley, Christopher Ogar, Bukie Okangbe , Kalita Joe Aruku, among others.

Most people have been schooling them on how the primaries would go, but they've been depending on a non-existent "anointing".

Now that the President and NEC have given the NWC the go-ahead to do whatever they like, this indirect primary method for electing the Presidential candidate has come to stay and all the aspirants must go to the field to test their popularity.

And we all know that if APC conduct their primaries ten times, Tinubu would emerge as the Presidential candidate of the party ten times on a Wednesday afternoon (according to that weed smoker from my state).

So unfortunate some people are gonna wail till 2032.
