Family / Re: Is It Wise For A Woman To Give Her Husband Part Of Her Monthly Salary? by anumide(f): 6:07am On Oct 27, 2015

No.
It's not wise for a wife to give part of her monthly salary to her husband.

It's also not wise for a husband to give part of his monthly salary to his wife.

God forbids any husband to give money to any woman.

Hmmmmm, where do I start 4rm. cry cry cry

All my life, I have always lived wit aunties y because my parents died when I was still a baby. I saw hell 4rm all of them. I have never had a real home to know how it is like. I was always on rotation among them. because of dat I went to 5 secondary schools.

I can relate to what Op and every 1 have shared here and more. Aftr my granddad died I got to know dat it was because of him they even housing me cos they all turned dia backs on me.

Presently I live wit an uncle whose wife is equally a devil's maid.

Am just saving money so I can move out and be in a house I can call mine.

I used to cry to bed every 9t and pray 4 God to just kill me. I av attempted suicide twice.

Dis days I have a little hope 4 tomorrow and pray God ans my prayer soon
I hear stories like yours everyday, and they break my already fragile heart.
truth is, life isn't Fair but the good news is, you can emerge a winner. you cannot afford to fail, you cannot afford to lose. that's what suicide will make you: a loser who couldn't fight to finish.
sweets I need your story to end well, so that millions of orphans can read it and have hope. just take one day at a time, fight, hold your head high and smile. it is well with you.

when I was little, I would beg my mum to allow me go spend my holidays with our rich relatives. I wanted to go and 'enjoy', escape 'manual labor' at home and 'enjoy life'. mama would say that even it is only garri she can afford, we will all drink it like that. now I know why.

robosky02:

the summary of your thought is you love babay mamas right

well i must point out to you it devalues a woman

back in the days as you said our parents dont dare touch a woman until they pay her Full dowries and get the consent and blessing of both parents.

but this days its a shame you meet her after one show somewhere ... and she gets pragnant next you come to the media with picture of your baby mama and kid

why not do the honourable thing pay the bride price which is very cheap in some culture,
get the blessing of her parents and your and let a pastor bless you both (if you cant afford a wedding gown) the key is the blessin.

in that way you secure the woman and her future. not next 2 years another shows up and you clam i never married you

ladies what your take
I don't understand your insistence on church wedding/blessing, whatever. everyone must not share your religious sentiments. if a couple decide to stick with traditional and court wedding, I don't see how it is anybody's problem. learn to mind your business.
namaste.

Today, another October 1st has come and gone, she and her group are nowhere to be found.

Religion / Re: My Pastor Justified Taking Another Wife With Scripture, Is He Right? by anumide(f): 1:30pm On Sep 06, 2015
Debeloved87:
My pastor's marriage crashed last year, thou the marriage produced children and the parting seems unreconcilable even thou i think it fell on domestic issues and also the fact that the wife doesn't really flow with the pastoral call of the husband as her pastor husband wish her to.

Recently the man of God was talking about it and he said that he will take a new wife very soon anytime he is ready, and he ask us whether its scriptural but we just giggled and he told us that it is scriptural that we should open the book of 1 corinthians 7:14-15 "for the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband, else where your children unclean but now are they holy; but if the unbelieving depart, let him depart, a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases:but God has called us to peace...

This actually was a little bit confusing to me, since the wife in question wasn't an unbeliever... Is my pastor right with his assertions?

A lot has been said. no need to talk too much.
but please read the whole of that chapter, and let the holy spirit do the teaching, don't try to give in to heresy.
secondly, I advice Christians not to attend churches of supposed men of God who cannot submit or be discipled by a man who has gone ahead of him. even adeboye and oyedepo have spiritual fathers.
from what you've written, you attend a one man Church. go to where you will grow, na God I take beg you.
