Two young men were caught while attempting to kidnap a little boy who was returning from school in Delta state.
It was gathered that the incident happened at Iyede town in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State on Friday, February 4.
It was gathered that the victim was coming back from school before the suspects snatch him. A source at the scene said the suspects kidnapped the child to a bush to use him for rituals before residents noticed what was going on and started searching for them in the bush.
The source further revealed that one of the residents released his dog into the bush and luckily, the dog located the kidnappers and started chasing them.
Residents of the area joined in the chase and caught them. The suspects were given a thorough beating before they were handed over to the police.
In what looks like a movie scene, a man got the humiliation of his life after his lover refused to accept a proposal of spending the rest of her life with him in front of many people.
It was gathered that the man took his girlfriend out so he can propose to her but got embarrassed after his fiancee gave him two dirty slaps concurrently for proposing to her in public.
In a video sighted by salemgists, the vile lady also smashed the guy’s head with a piece of cake to totally besmirch her boyfriend’s appearance.
A suspected female kidnapper has been caught while she was trying to kidnap a little child in Kano state.
It was gathered that she was caught by residents of Dala while she was attempting to kidnap the child at Koki mosque.
In a video sighted by salemgists, the lady who is yet-to-be named was paraded through the streets by residents of the area.
Targeting little children have become a daily thing in Kano. Not too long ago, Abdulmalik Muhammed Tanko, allegedly kidnapped a 5-year-old girl identified as Hanifa Abubakar in Kano.
It was alleged that the suspect kept her captive for 46 days before taking her life.
It was gathered that Tanko took the little girl’s life despite collecting part of six million naira ransom he demanded.
Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army(NA) acting on credible intelligence have taken out 3 kidnappers, who are believed to be part of the notorious kidnap cum robbery gang terrorizing the ever busy Auchi-Benin road in Edo state today, 2 February 2022. The kidnappers met their waterloo while on their nefarious operation along the axis. They however ran out of luck, as the vigilant troops swooped on them, engaging them in a gun duel that led to the elimination of three members of the gang, while others fled in different directions.
The gallant troops recovered one AK 47 rifle, one Pump Action Shotgun and other dangerous weapons.
Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to track the fleeing criminals and free up that corridor from all forms of violent crime.
The NA wishes to enjoin the general public, particularly the good people of Edo to continue to expose criminal elements in their localities to law enforcement agencies. They are also urged to go about their normal activities as efforts are in place to ensure seamless security.

A senior commander of the civilian joint task force in Borno state, Maliya Ibrahim has died after his vehicle stepped on An EID on Biu-Dambua road.
The deceased was driving in the vehicle with another person when their car stepped on the destructive device.
It was gathered that they both died in the accident.
Sources sources said the bomb was planted by Boko Haram terrorists after a recent bombing along Biu-Damboa Road.

Troops of 27 TF Brigade in conjunction with Civilian JTF on Tuesday 1 Feb 2022 laid an ambush on BHT/ISWAP terrorists at the outskirts of Girboa village, Yobe State. During the encounter, some terrorists were neutralized while others fled in disarray, weapons were also recovered.
An unidentified young lady attempted to take her life by jumping into the River in Lagos state.
The Lady was seen in a video sitting on edge of a bridge while attempting to jump into the River. A young man whom voice was heard in the video tried to get her not to jump into the River.
The young man had to call the attention of passerbys to rescue the already frustrated lady. The young man even went down on his knees to plead with the lady not to Jump.
The lady was insisting it’s her life, the people at the scene should allow her to die. The young man even offered to give her a car but she insisted that she is tired of life.
It was unclear on why she wanted to commit suicide but it was learnt from the video that she was owning someone money which she couldn’t pay back.

In what looks like a Nigerian movie directed by Kunle Afolayan, a Lusaka spiritual man felt like the holy spirit left him for a few minutes when his lover refused to accept a proposal of spending the rest of her life with him in front of pastor and congregation.
It was gathered that the man told their Pastor to call he and his girlfriend infront of the church so he can propose.
Pastor called them infront of the church and the young man knelt down and brought out a ring. Immediately, the lady’s face changed.
The man kept smiling at her. Pastor too was smiling. The girls face continued to wear and angry look.
The man whilst kneeling down popped the bug question, "Will you marry me?”
The girl began to scratch her head, neck, armpit in discomfort. She then ran out of the church.
Meanwhile, both wore Asoebi but it was not enough as the lady denied him three times just like peter denied his master.
The crowd who was witness to the whole incident laughed at the man and few people from the crowd later consoled him.
Abba Kyari, suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police and former Commander of the Police Ịntelligence Response Team made an appearance at the wedding of Fatiha of Maina Alkali, the son of Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba in Maiduguri, Borno state.
DCP Kyari who had been off his Facebook and Instagram handles following his suspension on July 2021 over alleged complicity in the $1.1million internet fraud perpetrated by Hushpuppi (Ramon Abass) and four others, which he (Kyari) denies, personally posted pictures of his appearance at the wedding.
The ‘Supercop’ as he is fondly referred to in Police circles and a Borno indigene on Saturday took to his Facebook page to share photos from the wedding ceremony.

Men of the Ogun state police command have arrested three teenagers for killing a girlfriend of their friend for money making ritual.
The three young boys whose ages range between 17and 20 years were in the early hours of Saturday 29th of January 2022.
The police identified the suspects as Wariz Oladehinde, 17 years, Abdul Gafar Lukman 19 years and Mustakeem Balogun 20 years.
It was gathered that they were all arrested following an information received at Adatan divisional headquarters from the head of the community security guard, that the suspects were seen burning something suspected to be human head in a local pot.
Upon the information, the Dpo Adatan division, SP Abiodun Salau, quickly led his detectives to the scene, where the three suspects were arrested, while the fourth one who happened to be the boyfriend of the murdered girl escaped.
On interrogation, the arrested suspects confessed that what they were burning in the local pot is the head of the girlfriend of their escaped accomplice.
They confessed further that the girl who was simply identified as Rofiat was lured by her boyfriend simply identified as Soliu to where she was murdered by four of them, after which they cut off her head and packed the remains in a sack, and dumped it in an old building.
They subsequently led policemen to the building, where the dismembered body was recovered and deposited at general hospital mortuary for autopsy. The short cutlass and a knife used in cutting off the deceased head were also recovered.
Meanwhile, the commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole, who described the action of the suspects as height of callousness has ordered for a massive manhunt for the fleeing boyfriend of the victim by name Soliu.
The CP also ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to homicide section of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for discreet investigation with the view to arraign them in court as soon as possible.

A 29-year-old MR. Shedrack Ochoche Of Ogbaulu Community in Agatu Local government area of Benue State has been murdered by personnel of Nigeria police.
It was gathered that he was killed by the personnel of the Nigeria Police force, Mabushi Police Division, Abuja.
Mr Shedrack Ochoche, before his gruesome murder on the 17th January, 2022, was formerly employed to carry out Janitorial services in a restaurant operated by a Chinese woman popular known as Madam “Pimpim.”
The deceased resigned from the engaged Janitorial services of the Chinese woman’s restaurant when he was owed more than 3 months salary.
Five days after Shedrack Ochoche resigned from the cleaning job, the Chinese woman alleged that her car batteries were missing and she went and lodged a complaint at the Mabushi Police Division, Abuja.
The alleged theft happened five days after the deceased had resigned from the cleaning job in the Chinese restaurant owned and operated by the woman.
The Nigeria police personnel of the Mabushi Division tracked and arrested Shedrack Ochoche and detained him, he was reportedly tortured mercilessly until he died in police detention 17th January, 2022.

TROOPS DISLODGE IPOB/ESN STRONGHOLD AT LILU FOREST IN ANAMBRA STATE
Troops of the Nigerian Army(NA) in a joint operations conducted with other security agencies have dislodged a notorious stronghold of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB) and its armed affiliate, Eastern Security Network (ESN) at Lilu Forest in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State. Lilu is a border town between Imo and Anambra States, which was hitherto known to be used as an operational base of the dissidents.
The operations, which was conducted in the early hours of Monday 17 January 2022, led to the neutralization of some gunmen in a fire fight that ensued.
After dislodging the dissidents from their fortress, the dogged troops recovered 10 Pump Action Shotguns, two locally fabricated guns, One Revolver pistol, rounds of 7.62 mm special, live cartridges, machettes and IPOB flags. Other items recovered are mobile phones, laptops amongst other dangerous weapons.
The operation was jointly conducted by troops of 82 Division, Nigerian Navy, 211 Quick Response Group of the Nigerian Air Force, Department of State Services and the Nigeria Police. It was a well coordinated dawn attack on the fortress, where plans were been perfected to violently enforce the illegitimate sit-at-home declaration by the irredentist groups.

A 28-year-old man defiled a 2-year-old baby at Okokoro road Otukpo, Benue state on 15 January.
It was gathered that the man who regularly visits the mother of the child defiled the little girl when she left her with him in the parlour.
Narrating how the incident happened, a Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh said the suspect is a step-brother to the victim’s mother.
Taking to social media, Kurugh wrote:
“I received a call from a lady yesterday regarding the rape of her two years old daughter by her uncle who is 28 years old. The incidence is said to have taken place at Okokoro road Otukpo on the 15/01/2021.
The mother narrated to me through my informant that her step brother was a regular visitor to the house as a result her baby was fond of him.
So on this particular day, when he visited again she confidently left them in the parlor and went to wash her containers which she uses in packaging Zobo and kunu Aya for sale.
However, she had a premonition that something was wrong and decided to go inside to check her baby
On entering she saw the Man pampering the baby who was drenched in sweat.
She collected the baby from him and asked him what happened to her baby? He was silent.
She then asked her baby what was wrong and the little baby said it’s her uncle that has made her bumbum to be paining her.
The baby girl has been asked severally where the uncle touched her and each time she places her hand on her private part.
A medical examination at the hospital reveals bruises and blood clots in her vagina. ( The video was also sent to me while she was crying in pain during the examination)
The suspect was apprehended by the vigilante and confessed to this offense, claiming it was his first time. (This was also recorded on video and it’s posted as well).
He attempted to run away when they noticed weed (Igbo) on him and was re-arrested by the vigilante group.
However I was told by my contact person some form of negotiations/fishy dealings was ongoing around the case to settle outta the public eye. I immediately brought the matter to the attention of the no nonsense Executive Chairman of Otukpo LG, Hon. George Alli whom I know and respect for his intolerance for such cases. Hon George Alli immediately swung into action by drawing the attention of the Police who made arrest from the hands of the vigilante guys and he has personally undertaken the matter to assist the Police in whatever way necessary for due investigation and Prosecution of this matter. The culprit will be charged to court latest tomorrow and kept behind bars while every other process is ongoing under the watchful eyes of a dogged fighter against rape and social vices MC Kpakpakpa

A staff with Benue state internal revenue service, BIRS identified as Sixtus Terfa Akure has allegedly been beaten to death by men of the Nigerian army.
It was gathered that the deceased was before his death a senior inspector of taxes in the state.
The development was confirmed in a statement released by the Executive Chairman of BIRS, Chief (Mrs.) Mimi Adzape-Orubibi.
She said in a statement:
"I have received with deep shock and pain, the sad news of the brutal murder of one of my staff, Sixtus Terfa Akure, who until his d£ath was a Senior Inspector of Taxes.
Unconfirmed sources indicate that the late Sixtus was whisked away last night by military personell in what has become a regular occurrence, and his mangled body was found early hours of today around Aper Aku Estate by the road side.
I am understandably deeply pained by his death. And the circumstances under which he died.
As a service we condemn this in the strongest terms possible. We offer our deepest condolences to the immediate family of this young man who paid the supreme price in service to the State.
I want to assure all staff of the service that we will leave no stone unturned in getting to the rock bottom of this matter. The perpetrators will be brought to justice no matter what it takes.
I have since made a formal report to His Excellency Governor Ortom who has not only offered his condolences but has already given assurances that the state government will never abdicate it’s responsibility to protect citizens and residents of the state.
May his gentle soul find perfect peace with the Almighty God."
The Delta state police commander have released a statement regarding the church building that collapsed in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state.
The police command in a statement debunked the report that 10 persons died in the tragedy that Salvation Ministries.
The police said only three persons died in the collapse. The deceased victims included two female children and a woman.
The police statement also added that 18 people were rescued, four persons are discharged from the hospital and 11 are still receiving treatment.
The statement said:
Rescue Operation is over, 18 person rescued initially, four person’s discharged, 11 person’s still receiving treatment, three deaths recorded which includes two female children and one woman, their names unknown for now, kindly debunk the rumours making rounds that ten people died, that’s not correct
Unspecific number of people have died after a building housing Salvation Ministry, Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta State reportedly collapsed.
As at the time of this report, it is gathered that over 10 worshippers have d!ed so far.
The building which is being used for the first time, reportedly collapsed at about 5:55pm during Tuesday evening service.
It is gathered that about eight persons have been rescued unhurt, while four persons have been rushed to the Asaba Specialist Hospital for medical attention.
Reports says worshippers, family members and sympathizers were crying as efforts were on to rescue other victims.
As at the time of filing this report, Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Chief Patrick Ukah, the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Ononye Mordi, team of Red Cross officers, and fire fighters were on ground on a rescue mission.
Founder of Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo is not responsible for my wife’s d£ath, Akpofure Rema, husband of late Akpofure Tega, exonerates pastor.
Salemgists had reported that the church’s former choir coordinator, Nnenna Kalu-Ude held that Fatoyinbo is responsible for Tega’s d£ath.
Taking to her social media handle, Nnenna also accused the popular clergyman for maltreating his workers.
She stated that Fatoyinbo suppressed his critics through occultic powers, claiming that leople who want to speak up about the “evil” going on in the church either fall ill or die mysteriously.
However, the deceased’s husband in a video on Friday, said the pastor was not responsible for his wife’s death.
He was interviewed by OAP Daddy Freeze.
He described his wife as a very amazing person, refuting claims that they had plans to leave COZA.
He said:
“My name is Akpofure Rema, the husband of Akpofure Tega. I was shocked when I turned on my phone and got a lot of text from different persons.
“My wife was a beautiful soul and an amazing person, if you have met her you would know what am talking about better. Her pastors were good to her and to me.
“She was a member of the gratitude and she served in COZA Abuja. My wife had no plans of leaving COZA. In fact myself, I just relocated to Abuja from China to join her and we had no plans of living COZA. They were other better plans.
“I want to beg you to ignore everything or anything you see online. The man called Biodun Fatoyinbo is an amazing man, Pastor Mo is an amazing person and every other names that were tagged are beautiful souls. Trust me, when you meet them you will know better.
“Whatever encounter you might have had with anybody, it’s your own cup of tea and it’s your own choice. But please take out the name Tega out of this whole scene. I mean it’s early.”
