freecocoa:Hehehe Isn't it obvious from the comments on this thread alone that women will pick the alphas first and foremost? The attraction that he exerts on the woman is non-negotiated it is in fact a natural response to his overt and pronounced masculinity. As long a woman perceives a man as alpha he will get top priority in her mate selection decisions. Women settle for the betas because as I said earlier the alphas are in short supply and in many cases where he is the bad boy type, doesn't have any long term interest in the woman. Oh and yes betas/nice guys tend to be wimps, all their placating behaviour usually leaves them in the friendzone. |
Stillfire:True that! What women find instrinsically attractive, the alphas are in short supply. Society is full of more betas than alphas - and this is where the wahala starts; women would love to marry or settle down with the alphas but since they are not enough to go round many end up with betas. The relationships they enter into are eventually filled with resentments and unhappiness as the women constantly yet unconsciously subject their betas to tests (which he fails) in the hopes that he might alpha up. If it is a marriage the woman will start entertaining thoughts of bailing, or propose an open marriage, all so that her 'alpha needs' can be met. In all this we see again that the nice guys aka betas, always come last. |
freecocoa:Not all alphas are bad. They can have good characters but what makes him alpha is that his goodness, so to speak, is all wrapped in a distinct masculine package. He is his own mental point of origin especially when dealing with women. This should be the ideal that all men should strive for. In the same light not all betas or nice guys are good people. In fact it may well be that the things that makes a beta who he is is one type of insecurity or the other. The nice guy unlike the alpha is always supplicating to and placating the women in his life. He thinks that his desire to please the woman by doing all those nice things will be rewarded with her intimacy or sex. |
freecocoa:Lol. The thing about alphas is that they embody or give out pronounced masculine cues. The masculine traits in their pure form comprise strength, courage, mastery, dominance, and much more. That's what makes a true alpha. These are the things that ALL women are hardwired to respond to and why we can comfortably generalise so. A man may have a bad or good character but gives out those cues strongly - he is alpha. |
Shymm3x you know with your list above the ladies will only pick the men they perceive to be alpha. You can't question or analyse their choices because it is based solely on their perceptions. |
freecocoa:No argument here. You know, in a sense, we are saying the same thing. Ok let me break down my position some more Vivica being attracted to 50 is an example of the dynamic that describes female attraction. Female attraction is basically two fold in nature; the organic and automatic pull of pronounced masculine traits in a man and the push for long term provisioning and comfort. Unfortunately very few men can satisfy the twin nature of female attraction. Men easily fall into two groups in this regard, the "bad boys" and the "nice/sweet guys", the alphas and the betas, if you will. The bad boys exude those masculine traits that engender an automatic and non-negotiated response alas because of their bad boy persona they can be harmful choices to the women. The nice/sweet guys are the ones that can easily satisfy the other half of female attraction needs - i.e, the long term provisioning part, but alas in doing this they do not generate an automatic or organic response. (The nice guys because they suppress the distinct masculine traits will 'always come last' because of this fact) This dichotomy is always present in all women attractions matters. "Mature women" find the bad boy persona juvenile because they realise it comes up short when considering the long term provisioning aspect of their attraction. [s]I'll go forward and add that in their not so mature days the women gave themselves to the bad boy types but saying that would only trigger another round of debate that this section is famous for.[/s] ![]() |
freecocoa:Oh but it does. It's the big H at work, that quiet (but not so quiet these days) push and pull to which ALL women are subject. Women are innately drawn to men with pronounced masculine traits - dominance, strength, aggression, etc, traits which the "bad boys" somehow naturally exudes and which the nice guys have stifled or suppressed. This pull is automatic and non-negotiated. Even if the woman later settles for the nice guy because he easily offers comfort, provisioning and stability she will always on some level hold out for those "bad boy" traits. See the Vivica example above, while she realises she cannot be with 50 she still acknowledges the attraction she has for him. The alpha widow is widowing ![]() |

The question we have to ask all those shouting capital flight is this: how many Glo lines do you have? |
Finally a Chinese brand we can trust. |
Amazing. So the projections are based on immigration. |
Yes, its a misconception that the birth rate is dropping. All the facts say it is on the rise (about 2.5% annually) http://www.indexmundi.com/nigeria/population_growth_rate.html http://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.POP.GROW http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/nigeria-population/ http://www.tradingeconomics.com/nigeria/population The population in Nigeria averaged 96.40 million from 1960 until 2014 reaching an all time high of 178.52 million in 2014... The population of Nigeria represents 2.35 percent of the world's total population which arguably means that one in every 43 people on the planet is a resident of Nigeria. **** While there are debates about the accuracy of the country's population figures it is without doubt that all indicators point to a continued growth in whatever baseline figure is agreed on. |
Dropping where? Nigeria is projected to be the third most populous country by mid century. All available records (CIA Fact Book, UN, FG etc) indicate that we are currently experiencing a population explosion. So relax ladies, the wave isn't stopping anytime soon. |
Mikollon1:C'mon man. You really don't want to do this. Nobody is buying your argument because what you are trying to do is fundamentally flawed. With this thread you are trying to import the anger and (genuine) concerns men in Western climes have into the Nigerian situation. It won't work. Right now it comes across as baseless conspiratorial bull but your desire to be some type of Pour Hommes activist beacon prevents you from seeing this. I'm all for menfolk becoming aware of all the schemas that are at play in society at large even as it becomes increasingly femcentric. Any call for men to step up to the demands that their gender imposes on them and recover ground they've lost I will support, but this your argument right here? No way. Unfounded conspiratorial talk and FUD does not count as a call to awareness. |
what did Kimoni say in her initial post that was insulting? |
Mikollon1:Splendid. Resort to insults because you are unable to advance a solid argument. |
Mikollon1. All I see from your comment is a whole lot of fear-mongering to buttress your claim. If the Nigerian government was actively involved in social welfare like I mentioned earlier then your argument would have had some merit. Anyone who honestly observes the political front in this country will tell you that for now all talk about social welfare is just high sounding rhetoric. Is paternity fraud a problem? Yes, and probably more widespread than we know but to suggest that the FG has a hand in perpetuating it, given the abysmal manner which it meets is responsibilities to its citizens, is just ludicrous. |
babygirlfl:Okay this is the second time this line of reasoning has been dropped today; that the feminist movement is a group of choir girls who do not "hound" people who do not share its beliefs. The interwebs is not only filled with aggressive blogs and articles from feminist directed at people who are not sympathetic to their cause, there are reports of actual attacks and hounding carried about by them. Check out the few stories below https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/horror-mob-of-topless-pro-abort-feminists-attacks-rosary-praying-men-defend http://www.campusreform.org/?ID=5989 http://m.therightscoop.com/you-have-to-watch-rabid-feminists-attack-daily-beast-writer-for-daring-to-defend-man-accused-of-rape/ http://www.nationalreview.com/article/375442/feminists-attack-kirsten-dunst-over-her-gender @topic While the issue of paternity fraud is real and in some western countries government assisted I think the claim that the Nigerian government, directly or indirectly, allowing the price of testing kits to remain high is hogwash. The high cost has nothing to do with the FG and everything to do with the bizarre greed-driven pricing system of foreign products in this country. Nigeria does not have the established welfare system that is found in the West for it to be concerned with who is raising the children in the country, we are not at that stage yet. |
cococandy:Really? https://www.reactiongifs.com/r/obs.gif |
arabianights:This is a weak cop out but I understand your need to run away. Aside from making what basically amounts to xenophobic attacks in the comment which you were quoted you are unable to provide specific instances for your claim that South Africa "makes it difficult for us to do business with them" When you make unfounded claims on a public forum such as this you have to know that you will be called out on it. Many thanks to the other guy for providing the much needed education and solid counters to your posts. |
arabianights:Cite specific instances or cases of this difficulty.(the line in bold) Its amazing that you do not realise the xenophobic tone of your comment especially the last paragraph. Even after the much needed clarification provided by the other poster to your comment you still had to do outdo yourself with this one. SMH |

See what happens when boundaries are not respected? A totally avoidable and unnecessary display of shame results. I'm disappointed in ALL the parties involved. Wasn't this thread supposed to be exclusively for topics under male interests? |
This thread don fall hand. |

A nice guy has the traits a real woman wants, he just knows how to handle it, unless you are putting a sissy in the place of a nice guy.
Amazing. So the projections are based on immigration.
