Some persons are here pointing fingers at the lecturers as though they are undeserving of what they are asking for. If the lecturers are well paid and the infrastructural standard raised, they will surely sit up. There's almost no week that goes by without us being graced with the photo of one or two political office holders attending the graduation ceremony of their wards in world class universities abroad. Can't Nigeria be like those countries? Or don't the Nigerian students deserve better?

IamaNigerianGuy:
Where are the gay lovers and defenders on naira land ? Come out of your holes and come defend one of your own.
Rubbish.

Beware, these homosexual peverts are very many in Abuja. One evening I was swimming alone in a private pool in an estate when a guy came into the pool. I didn't pay him any notice despite his attempts to attract attention by swimming close to me and making occasional comments. He was acting over familiar and making me uncomfortable, but at the time, I did not pay to much heed to my intuition.
After about half an hour, he came out of the pool(this was about 8pm) and by God I swear this nigga was as nak.e.d as the day he was born, with his big wet plantain hanging out. Till today I have no idea when he removed his trunks in the water. He then proceeded to sashay to a deck chair and get a towel making sure he showed me his disgusting behind.
I waited until the animal was gone then jumped out of the pool, covered myself with the blood of Jesus!(and I'm not even very religious) I never entered that pool again.
There are many peverts in that town.
I just dey imagine d speed u use take draw sign of the cross ontop ur black nyansh grin grin grin grin grin
Education › Certification In Pipeline Tech Or Masters Degree? Advice Needed by Apina(op): 7:20pm On Aug 15, 2017
Please I'm in dire need of positive and informed advise. I'm a graduate of philosophy and have been meaning to go for a masters degree(MSC). I recently stumbled on a certification course online from a federal university with minimum requirement of a school cert result in the sciences and luckily enough I wrote my school cert as a science student and passed with flying colors, which though doesn't explain my choice of course in the university was as a result of some circumstances which I had little or no control over.

I know of individuals with no university degree or certification earning 6 digit figures as salary from working in the shipping/oil industry as a result of their technical know how in such terrain. I "FEEL" running an MSC with over 400k for an estimated two year period with no skill attached will be penny wise pound foolish compared to running a certification course on pipeline technology/pipeline logistics/shipping management etc which is more or less acquiring a skill within that sector that is constantly expanding and getting to source for work as an intern in the above industries for a year or two with less amount to spend.

But my feelings aren't tantamount to knowledge or experience within this field and that's why I need the advice of the experts in the house,Taking into consideration my first degree and on the merits and demerits of taking such a bold step. No man is an island of knowledge and that's why I'm here, please no need for insults cos insulting me would only take up the available space for those with something meaningful to say. Thanks

Seun, mynd, lalasticlacla please help me move this to front-page.

Christianity Etc › Re: "Stop Complaining" - Pastor Adeboye Tells Nigerians by Apina(m):
Everyone is talking about hope for a better tomorrow, but not even one person is walking towards it. Martin Luther King was a minister of this same gospel Oyedepo and most of our ministers are preaching, but he knew that talking about "having a dream" wasn't enough, the long road to Selma had to be walked, and that's the difference between a true shepherd and a wolf in shepherds clothing which is worse than a wolf in sheep clothing.

Politics › Re: PDP Plotted Igbo Hate Song - APC Chairman, Oyegun by Apina(m): 11:25pm On Aug 09, 2017
NOETHNICITY:
PDP is a very devilish party capable of many evil acts.
This possibility is not completely out of place.
Also, I suspect SE based ipob extremists might ve a hand in it.

But then, the whose mystery surrounding the hate song could easily ve been unraveled by a vibrant SSS.

No! the SSS is busy following top dignitaries upandan hiding under the protection of the police, wearing big suits and driving about in tinted cars while they ve failed in their primary responsibility of gathering intelligence.

The SSS is the most overrated FG organization in Nigeria.

The failures of the SSS grossly overlooked, while all blames gets hipped on the police.

The sad reality is that the SSS is a whole lot of expensive waste.

That does not give them d license to brutalize civilians. No one forced them to join d military. I must remind u that many are in d military for lack of job.
I must admit few yrs back I applied to be enlisted in the air force not for love of a doomed country but for love of my pocket.
Take a look at d link below that disabled man who was brutalized in Onitsha for wearing camo are those soldiers not animals to ve done that to disabled man? A crippled man and u think God in heaven wud not act on behalf of that man? If that man was ur brother or father or relative wud u spew this rubbish u re defending beasts?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vVpO4yDXNU
That is why d bullets of Shekau and Barnawi continues to fall on them. I know there are good ones among them but few and they ve our commendation and respect,
Seems u have comprehension issues. How many soldiers are in d Nigerian army and how many are there in d said videos? I must say, that u think like a toddler, and The bolded part of ur statement points to that fact. You talk about being a soldier as something other than a job, then tell us what it is?
Politics › Re: Stop Adding To Our Problems, Give Us A Little Respect - Soldier Warns Nigerians by Apina(m):
I can see some peeps blaming this young man for the sins of likes of obasanjo and co. Someone I believe might be a brother or relative of someone here, making all sort of negative remark against him and a majority who are innocent of the ills meted out by a few. If this young gallant soldier and his compatriots sit in the comfort of wherever they came from, forming e-warriors like some insensitive brats here, who would mount the offensive/defensive against the jihadists? If you have seen or experienced a quarter of what these men have been through, u would be greatful for the sacrifices they have made and still making.

You guys feel girls own you sex cos you are dating them.

How does that sound?
It sounds stupid. Sex is consensual and pleasurable to both parties, it's not a favor by any means. If u feel sex is a bargaining chip which u can use to make demands then u have no moral compass to demand or expect any iota of loyalty or faithfulness.
Note: owe isn't synonymous to own.
