she want us to meet again and I don't know what she's actually up to, the last time she did something like this she brought some hefty guys with her to threaten me, but it didn't work as she planned, she don't know that I'm extremely stubborn and fearless. although she later apologized that she's so sorry for her actions and that she was mad that I ended our relationship now after 2 month she want us to meet again, I don't know maybe I should just ignore her invitation, because for the past 2 weeks she has been sending me message to reconcile with her, but the truth is that I don't wanna do anymore, is it by force?

On the 20th of sept she posted on her Facebook wishing the Ex a happy bday in adv and uploading his picture tagging her close friends too....

She was in my house of the 22nd and during the cause of our discussion i told her that i saw her post of her ex on the facebook page.. That is wasnt really nice. Mind u, i said it in a matured and friendly way.

Fast forward to 25th, on her facebook page, i saw she posted the guys pikture double dis time, wishing him a happy bday tagging her close friends also, i also went ahead to check her whatsap status... She also posted his picture there...

Guys dis pissed me off...
I asked a few female colleagues and friends they all gave thier opinion thats either they are fucking, or theyre back togeda, or they are planning and hoping to get back togeda...

But all the same, i felt insulted for the fact that i told her of my displeasure before...

Guys, be sincere, put urself in ma shoes, And im about to break up with her...

Shes been begging since yesteday. But my heart is stoned, i feel shes fake....

The fundamental aim of the program was defeated in many ways...

1. The judges, were... Everything but judges. Except for a few sparks of criticism from Waje, everything they were saying was "you are a finished product..." "I will buy your cd... " " you tried... "

2. Patoranking had no business being on that seat... Coman beat me.

He chose Ebube to progress to the semi's just based on a comment Waje made about a particular thing he did during his performance (i studied his body language that day). Dude knows nothing about what he was called to do... Aside playing upandan. He's a great artist no doubt, but not someone u'd pick as a judge for such a program.

4. Choice of songs was just pathetic,,, this is a program called "The Voice" and then somebody is singing Lil Kesh song nd other naija dance songs

3. The voters... Well what can I say, voting is obviously out of favouritism... Not out of knowledge. There were many great singers during the course of the program... They were all dropped by the way by stupid voting.

I hope this program gets cancelled.

This is just too hard to believe. A friend of mine just told me that he slept with a young lady that just lost her husband in a car accident, last week... Though she have been lusting after him even before her husband's death.. It all happen too fast, when he went to visit her at her home and he went to her room after people had all left the house.. Me and my Fiancee have been dating for 4 years now and we went little bit apart last year when she went for nysc.

She visited me over the weekend and when she was trying to remove her ATM card from her bag, mistoprotol fell from the bag.. I was shocked..

But she's claiming it's a friend that used her bag and she herself (my fiancee) didn't even bother to check the bag before using it again..

There's this very good friend of mine, I don't think its fair to call him a bad boy but lets just say his relationships never end well and he ends up leaving the girl messed up and hurt. His love life is like a never ending unhappy cycle, in the beginning he's all optimistic, enthusiastic and convinced that he has met THE ONE. Weeks, or months (if he really likes the girl) into the relationship, he starts to lose interest, he starts to notice her flaws and magnify them, suddenly he can't make him happy anymore, the urge to explore other options overwhelm him and he gives in. He starts cheating on her, couldn't be bothered if she found out, eventually she does, they break up, he finds another girl aka THE ONE and its the same old shite all over again.


The problem now is, he has eyes for my cousin and unfortunately she's also into him like crazy. Of course he thinks he's in love and he has found THE ONE, and he'll never hurt her cos she's different. Truth is, those are just empty words, he might think he means them but he doesn't and that's his default line whenever he finds a new girl, maybe I'll feel more comfortable if he used another line


Anyway yesterday my cousin told me he asked her out and she asked me if I thought he was a good guy, and I said an emphatic yes. Just after I did that I started feeling bad, but really it's not in my place to decide that someone is not a good person, it's not like I'm any better, maybe I should've stylishly evaded the question.

And even if, because we're family, i choose to tell her about his track record with girls, there's a very good chance that she won't listen to me and date him anyway. She's not the type that listens to advice and when she sets her mind on something it's hard to talk her out of it.


So if i tell her and she doesn't listen, she snitches on me and I lose a friend, something like this has happened before and that shït wasn't pretty . If I don't tell her, he breaks her heart and I end up feeling like crap. Damned if I do, damned if i don't.

Should I hold my peace and watch her make this mistake or snitch on my guy.

I'll say that again for those of us who didn't read that well, virginity is OVERRATED.
On a serious note, virginity is just a social construct that developed out of religious and cultural fundamentals.
The ugly side to virginity is that it is mainly attributed to the female sex alone. It has so degraded the value of women to the extent that the society sees a deflowered woman as a failure but nothing is said in the case of men who are no longer virgins.
The society has so systematically induced the concept of virginity, that some men have grown over bloated egos, and see their female counterparts as inferior beings.
I came across a guy's comment on a post where he said, "women have a price because of their virginity but men are priceless because virginity doesn't apply to them."
I was so disgusted at those words, they were so demeaning. I wouldn't want my sisters or daughters to be seen as inferior simply because they weren't virgins before marriage.
And while I blame this guy for his public display of stupidity, I blame the society more for placing the value of women at a lower pedestal simply because of "Virginity."
My advice to women is never place your self worth on virginity. You are worth more than a lining covering your vagina.

She Loves her fiancee very well and he loves her too and they re looking forward to do their wedding soon,she's only 19 and very beautiful while her guy is in his late 20's ...the Issue here is that her guy always get angry anytime he see her on make up saying he doesn't like it, that she should always be her natural self in public even on pictures she put on social media .

That if she doesn't stop making up ,he may not continue with the marriage plans...but make up has always been part of her right from when was little and she said she can't stop it just like that.

Please Advice her....she will be reading your opinions and comments.

Am a 200l student, I met this guy here on NL, though when we started I didn't tell him am 18, I told him am 24, I cooked up different lies for him, so that he won't see me as a teenager, but with time, I felt deeply in love with me and I think he felt the same way, though we have never slept together.
