There are two kind of peeps in life, those who see blue as blue, and those who see blue as red or something else. To say nothing is wrong with what is obviously so wrong is simply denying the obvious. In a sane environment, I believe she would be denied entrance into such a place no matter what she feels her rights might be due to this words "DRESS CODE". Its not surprising that most people here see nothing wrong with it, most Nigerians have no sense of what dressing etiquette entails. For those who might feel offended after reading this whatever you are gonna say isn't my fvcking business.

Nope, you still dont get it. You think God will judge us just based on what we do to and for our brothers.. Where is faith? Without faith it is impossible to please God. Even if you feed and clothe the whole human race. Do you practice your faith? And faith comes from hearing the Word . So you are saying God wont be concerned abt how much of His Word I know, How then do I get faith if I dont study His word. Holy communion and confession are just rituals. No amount of Holy communion or confession or good deeds would build me up if I dont study the Word. The practice in catholic today is that we go for confession on saturday, receive communion on sunday and back to our lives on monday. That aint right. Christianity is a lifestyle bro, its principles are contained solely in the bible.

Sorry but what you described as the catholic practice is alien to what I know as Catholicism. Perhaps you would know of our Sunday to Saturday masses, seven days of the week masses if u were truly conversant with your catholic activities which thus strikes out the rather erroneous notion that we are a two days church. We have youth fellowships at least once in a week in the various parishes were the word is shared, charismatic renewal, bible study classes etc these are avenues where you can get to study the bible. And Holy communion and confessions are not just rituals but are sacraments instituted by Christ himself; do this in memory of me and receive the holy spirit, whose sin u forgive they are forgiven and whose sin you retain they are retained. They are from Christ and point to him. My brother you seriously need to know more about your faith cos its as though u are yet to realize what you claim to practise

It goes beyond communion and confession. Why cant you ask me the last time I studied the bible? Or the last time I prayed and fasted to God? And your church has a huge impact in your spiritual life. Its a personal race but you need guidance and encouragement from your Church. A church that preaches repentance and not just confession. A church that makes you realize that you need the holy spirit to worship God. A church that worships. Not just holy communion and confession. I m telling you, you dont do that more than me

You wouldn't need confession if u were not a sinner thus it's a call to repentance. He who eats and drinks of me unworthily, eats and drinks condemnation unto himself; the very words of Saint Paul urging all to be pure in mind and heart before going to encounter the lord in the Eucharist. What more do you want us to say about repentance? Sorry that u do not find time to study ur bible which isn't uncommon among christians but I don't think God is gonna ask u dat when u eventually die but what did u do to and for the least of ur brothers.

Dude, are you going to Church because it's your family church?

Was born and raised a Catholic but as I grew older, I started asking myself and clergies questions...maybe it was because the Mass was getting boring, I couldn't believe some of the churches traditions...beliefs no more.

I had to explore, search for truth on your own. It was a scary journey...walking down the lonely unknown street..with no light just my mind as the guide. The truth seemed illusive cuz I got more confused with what I found. I had to take another route when I found a light... asked God to be my guide.

The journey is yours to take alone...if you still thinking about your moms feeling, then you ain't ready.

Yea the mass gets really boring, doing same thing over and over again; that was how I felt when I never understood about the spirituality within those boring rites as I earlier tagged them but within dat 30,40 or 120 mins of boredom comes to place the greatest miracle in human history:bread and wine becoming the body and blood of Christ. We have become so used to it that it no longer makes meaning to us. If this isn't the truth which u seek then I know not of what light or truth u seek. Perhaps reading in details the life of Saint Augustine would help. From a catholic brother.

Some friends or would I say acquaintances are quite shameless. I threw a birthday party @sailors lekki and had prominent friends in attendance including my best friend who didn't hesitate to spend lavishly as he kept ordering drinks and food. I noticed this friend of mine was exceptionally quiet all through, probably observing the whole thing.Next thing I knew she was glued to my buddy,dancing,laughing and all that.I was totally ok with it because everybody was having fun,they exchanged numbers and everybody left happily.I warned her to be careful as he wasn't single!

2 weeks later this lady started insulting the guy,saying all sorts about him,if we are hanging out and he shows up she leaves angrily,this continued for about 4months. I got to find out she went to his mansion several times,they went to all the expensive restaurants in lekki and in 2weeks the guy hit the cookie

The annoying thing now is she wants me to stop being friends with him,someone i'v known since Adam,his fiancee is my friend,he has helped me in so many ways, I can't stop talking to him because of some careless act.

My so-called friend has stopped talking to me,she doesn't hang out anymore,she doesn't call and all but biko is it my fault? Is it a crime I refused to support either of them? We all are adults and solely responsible for our decisions. Should I call both for a hangout to settle the issue? Or ignore completely

Religion according to Karl Marx, is the opium of the society. I stopped reading your article after the third line due to the fact that u don't even hv a profound knowledge of what u intend to address. Ur points are not totally thrash but most of them are. I think u need to read the right books and speak to the right ppl cos ur fallacy of hasten generalization which is imminent all through ur write up leaves me guessing if u actually know the rubrics of Christianity holistically and not just perpetuating incessant innuendos thereby confusing the shallow minded who simply attend church.
