Hello nairalanders, I need your opinions on this matter.

My boyfriend of 3 years who is now my fiancee (we are talking marriage already) is constantly talking to his ex girlfriend (who is now married).

They discuss all manner of things, ranging from how she misses him and wished she had waited for him.

Trouble started when he told her he was planning to settle down (I still wonder why he told her) ever since she's always coming up with pots of lies against me. She claims someone told her so many things about me.

She fabricating lies isn't my major concern because I know once something good is about to happen the devil comes in many ways than one to destroy it.

I've told my man all about my past life and everything in it, recently he accused me of withholding some information of my past. The ex girlfriend had a chat with and told him things I don't even know about.

Nairalanders this lady is married, why is she poke nosing into our affair?? If she loved him that much, why did she marry another man?? Why is my man giving her audience Is he still in love with her I know she's obsessed about me. Her constant chats with him, makes him accuse me of things I've never done in my entire life.

I told him we should suspend the marriage until he's done with his investigation since he doesn't believe me cos he said if he finds out something I did in my past in the future and I didn't tell him it will be a problem.

So I have this American patient who I recently came across. He's a fat dude who is like in his late 40s but has a very jolly and likeable character. I introduced myself and we got talking afterwards.

After a while of chitchat, he asked me where I was from. I told him to take a guess and he said said, you sound like you're Nigerian. I told him (regrettably) that I was Nigerian. He started smiling and told me that he had a Nigerian girlfriend and that we both had similar accents.

He then started telling me recent occurrences that had befallen his girlfriend in Nigeria. He said the lastest story was that she was in Abuja and as she was on her way to the airport in a taxi, the taxi had an accident and she was seriously injured and had to be rushed to the hospital. He said that the hospital demanded money before treatment started and he had to hustle about $4000 and send to her in order for treatment to start.

He said that after a week of her being in the hospital, they wanted to discharge her despite her still being in pain. Because she had exhausted all the $4000 on treatment, he said the hospital had threatened to discharge her on the streets and he was trying to borrow more money to see if he could send it to her so they could continue with her treatments.

He furthermore told me that the girlfriend said that she was a Nigerian American citizen who was currently stuck in Nigeria due to her passport having expired and also due to Covid lockdown at airports in Nigeria. He said she had asked him for $300 to renew her US passport from American embassy in Nigeria.

Another thing that he told me was that just before covid struck, there was a similar pandemic which happened in Nigeria early this year and that his girlfriend had contracted the disease and he had to send her $2000 for treatment. Right now he said he's broke but is waiting for like $2000 disability check from the US government next week which he will send to her as soon as the money clears.

As he was telling me this tale, I was so angry with Nigerians and how they take advantage of people in love to scam them. I wanted to swear for the scammers


I'm at a dilemma here. Do I tell him that he's being scammed by Nigerians or do I continue to be professional and just ignore it. Because I don't want him to think I'm involved with it because these oyinbo people can turn everything on your head and accuse you that is your people in conjunction with you that are scamming him. They are that crazy.

The good part of me wants to help him but I'm hesitant that it may turn out bad for me. Please matured responses.

There are two things involved
1. He could be testing you knowing that such is a scam just to know how morally upright you are
Or
2. He genuinely is sending cash to a scammer but he's having doubts and needs someone to confirm his fears .
Doing what is right should be your business. If we all took it upon ourselves to make the right thing our business, we wouldn't be in this mess we are in

This happenned many years ago after I finished writing my WAEC Exams , I went to visit my elder sister who just put to bed. There was this man who happens to be a regular visitor ,he had no job and was squatting with his brothers.
One day he came to visit as usual but I told him no one was at home as my sister and her husband took the baby to the clinic for vacine. This man refused to go ,he asked me to open the door that my sister's husband asked him to wait that he has some important documents to give to him.

I don't know how long I slept but I was awakened by the sound of kissing and moaning , i peeped unde the sofa , behold their legs were missing I looked towards the edge of the sofa ,and there it was -i found four legs . I was so pissed , how could he do this in someone's house , I waited for it to be over so I can stand up, so I kept checking under the sofa for their feet. Unfortunately this lasted for so long that I started making little sounds so they will know I'm awake ,but hey, they were such an idiot ,it was either they never heard or they never cared .standing up was not an option for me , I just laid there praying for my sister and her husband to walk in . I had to lay there and endure all the rubbish , they abused the sofa ,the lady 's vagina was so noisy , The romp finally ended . When they heard the sound of a car horn . It was my sister and her husband . You guys need to see how this idiot was acting cool, he was sweaty and claimed the house was too hot ,my sister's husband was busy telling him , kpele , you tried o, I thought you've gone sef, Lemme put on the Gen , make your self comfortable ...".
Na so I just dey vex , I couldn't tell my sister what the man did. I was still a virgin then, I was too ashame to narrate it to her . I sincerely wish I did because I later discovered the so called document he wanted to give him was his own CV he wanted him to help him submit at my in-laws office . But that was the last time I ever allowed that man to enter the house when no one was around , I kept telling him I cant find the house keys ,he later got the message ..

This is an incorrect analogy of the rule. The away goal isn't double, it's implications is based on advantage after a two legged tie where there's no goal advantage in favour of any of the teams. They could also decidebto use yellow and red cards as a condition for giving advantage as was done back in the day.

I stay in Ozoro for the time being though away for about a week now and the truth is, the policemen own too much.
