While you may be right sir, remember the rot we are experiencing today is as a result of the failure of past administrations including your own baba. You failed to revive Nigeria's ailing refineries whilst allocating humongous amount for such including electricity. We need solutions now not rhetorics baba. |
Come on face the consequence of your action, Lily-livered soldier. Na on top innocent civilians dem go dey flex muscles. |

TheNation247:LoL @Japada. All I have to say is; ain't easy living in a white man's land. The social, cultural and emotional disconnect is real guys. Thought I'd be fine even as an introvert but mhen, this thing get levels. Good for you if making money is your motivation. |
symbuul:It's there. Check under 'Transactions', then 'My Earnings' Not sure you can withdraw if the amount is less than $10 |
Just imagine...Wetin concern agbero with overload? This country don mad! Not surprised though, We know who is actually behind NURTW. NOTE: NLC is going on strike to protest government's lack of transparency and commitment in the manner the issue of palliative is being handled. You call the below palliative? We keep shouting it... Roll out buses that run on alternative source of energy if possible which would allow people move their goods and services at a cheaper cost, constant electricity, allow regulated inflow of food especially rice to augment local production. The average man just wants to eat and survive. It's not too much to ask.
|
symbuul:How long has it been? Sometimes it takes up to 24hours or more to be effected. |
Same terrorism inspired by France. We are not ignorant of the same old tactics of Divide and Rule by the West. You inspire chaos in Africa and pretend to be the face of peace while you plunder their resources from behind. |
The wife try no be small. Always knew she was bearing a lot. |
He is still young and very much in form with chances of even doing better. OGA chase your dreams ooo leave Saudi except you want early retirement. |
The thought of doing this to my dad alone almost makes me puke and if I ever did, I know I'll end up commiting suicide cos it would haunt me so badly. This one should have been in school or learning handwork. Terrible Children we have these days, living on a fast lane. God save us. |
Lol... Very true. That's why they are called Radio presenters. |
Whether Military or Democracy Our problem in Africa is that we are not truly patriotic. We only wish to serve our selfish interest. We are more loyal to our tribe or ethnic group. The military is even worse. How soon have you forgotten the selective purging in the military that eventually resulted into the civil war? |
This article was even published in 2017 where Obasanjo proffered compulsory retirement of senior military officials as a way of curbing military coups. No wonder the recent shake-up in the military architecture in countries like Rwanda and Cameroon today. However, this is akin to rubbing balm on the neck when the head is aching. There are too many deficiencies with democracy in Africa... Abuse of power, corruption, nepotism, no respect for the rule of law, Executive being more powerful than the judiciary and legislative arms of government, weak democratic institutions etc. Is why they say, a black finds it hard to rule himself. Baba has no moral standing to speak. By proposing a bill seeking to extend his term beyond two-terms, Obasanjo himself almost fell into the trap like his counterparts in Gabon, Rwanda, Cameroon did. Power corrupts and it corrupts absolutely. It's when they are no more in power their head is correct. Whether Military or Democracy Our problem in Africa is that we are not truly patriotic. |
I'm loving this new wave of wokeness sweeping across most countries in Africa. I'm no supporter of Military rule, but where was AU, ECOWAS and champions of democracy in Europe when the very institutions meant to strengthen democracy in Africa were busy selling justice, aligning and scheming to steal peoples' mandate, and installing unpopular leaders? One even ruled for 42 years with his son taking over... that's no longer democracy na! Democracy has impoverished and still continues to impoverish the entire continent. #AwakeAfrica! |
First bear in mind that no system is perfect. Because of the heterogenic nature of most African states, i prefer a confederal-like system comprising of loose national/ethnic entities. This would allay the fear of ethnic subjugation & rivalry, allow greater resource control and proper representation rather than the majority always calling the shots, as is the case with Nigeria. Also, there is the need to strengthen institutions that will always ensure fairness and equity. Owing to the fallible nature of man and the supposed infallible nature of our traditional gods(based on African belief), our leaders/representatives should be made to swear to deities like Ogun, oya, Amadioha, as it had been pre-colonial era before taking up positions just like in the oyo empire. These deities go treat the f**k up of corrupt leaders and those who abuse powers. Time to revisit our traditional values. |
Malema my guy. They should ensure whatever new relationship that is being formed is based on mutuality. No more imbalance in relations. |
Democracy, though an ideal system of governance, is fast losing its essence especially in Africa, aided by the very institutions meant to strengthen it. INEC is corrupt, Judges are selling judgement to the highest bidder, Nepotism is on the rise. From Nigeria to Zimbabwe the story remains the same. Emilokan politics and democracy don't go well and an Aristocrat like Tinubu knows he's can't be the face of democracy. |
Na every international bloc Nigeria wan join? A nation without a clear foreign policy, philosophy or conviction. Anywhere belle face. The BRICS don't want a weak member susceptible to Western influence. I miss the days of Pa Awolowo, Azikiwe et al. True Pan-Africanists. |
Truth is most people don't marry on the basis of true love anymore. It's "what's in it for me, " or transactional, be it for social security, to feel good, establish connection e.t.c. For men it's his ability to always provide no matter what. The failure of one party to meet these expectations at any time will always cause friction in this kind of set up. |
If this woman had endured the beating; suffering silently and probably lost her life, na these same people go condemn her for staying in an abusive relationship. Madam as a man, I say you have tried and you have done well trying to amend things with him. If he is matured enough, he should have understood you acted out of safety concerns for you and your children. You no get money Kon still dey irresponsible... Nonsense! |
She can't escape it this time. The cries and sufferings inflicted on millions of Nigerians through people of her kind don reach baba God. You run leave Nigeria go UK still meet wetin you dey run away from for there. 'The wicked run when no man pursueth.' The evil men do will surely catch up with them. Know this and Know Peace. |
Oova:Success which is not always guaranteed. Which is why you need to pray for grace. |
Nice development.. Na vexation voters go take remove that Seyi. We shouldn't encourage rapists or sexual violence. |
Lie Muhammed left the table. Only time will tell.
|
ECOWAS should have accepted the three year transitioning to democracy which the Junta proposed or negotiated a shorter term. Invading Niger will further impoverish the sub-region and increase Western influence which the whole continent have been trying so hard to rid themselves of. |
Very good. This would help the country save forex. I'm very sure most of our senators are in various countries in Europe enjoying themselves after receiving prayers into their accounts as the naira continues to weaken. |
