WE ARE A GENERATION THAT WILL NEVER COME BACK. A generation that walked to school and then walked back. A generation that did their homework alone to get out asap to play in the street. A generation that spent all their free time in the streets with their Friends. A generation that played hide and seek when dark. A generation that made mud cakes. A generation that collected sports cards. A generation that found, collected and washed & Returned empty coke bottles to the local grocery store for 5 cents each , then bought a Mountain Dew and candy bar with the money. A generation that made paper toys with their bare hands. A generation who bought vinyl albums to play on record players. A generation that collected photos and albums of clippings of their life experiences as a Kid. A generation that played board games and cards on rainy days. A generation whose TV went off at midnight after playing the National Anthem. A generation that had parents who were there. A generation that laughed under the covers in bed so parents didn't know we were still awake. A generation that is passing and unfortunately it will never return no matter how hard we try. I loved Growing up when I did. it was the best of times. -from SpaceHighlights. |
That Ghanian food in the last picture is actually rich. Forget Nigerian sacrifice I go chop am ![]() I love proteins. |
Interesting insights here. I doubt we'd ever reach any conclusion on this matter. Time and chance happen to some. There is also the place of hardwork and struggle but unfortunately, this does not always guarantee success. Several limiting factors might account for this. In such situation it's resilience that will see you through. The never give up spirit. |
ahmedsaniadamu:It's the new ponzi scam in town, although paying right now. They have the same model as Brad e-commerce. Check the link below. https://www.nairaland.com/7229231/brad-e-commerce-it-legit-scam If you know, you know. |
Crazy world |
YoobaNesan:Why you no just read and Waka pass. This is why many don't report their sales again. Reminds me of the case with Swetha. |
I pray what you little children are looking for you never see it. Lest Rwanda genocide would be a child's play. |

Voice22:Give us a better view not SkyView plus your video quality is poor. |
Warris this. What stops them from recruiting experienced staffs after the billions they make from transfer fee charged to customers. |
JamParkMe:Bros, please keep that domain. My first sale 4 years ago was a low four figure. It really meant a lot to me back then. But as I gained more knowledge, I regretted it sold at the price it did: Very rare two word brandable name. My best handreg domain ever. Landing your first sale though good for gaining confidence should not lead to accepting low ball offers. Looking forward to seeing lots of 5-6 figure sales here. |
Stop dragging religious leaders and respect their decision to stay neutral. That is how people introduce schisms into the church. They have since told Nigerians to vote those who they feel will lead them aright. Can't people use their head again? Or they are too lazy to decide what's best for themselves? Go out and vote and stop waiting for any pastor to endorse anyone for you. Even the Eleven apostles encouraged their followers to cast lots to determine who would replace Judas (Acts 1:26). |
SaintUlot:I understand your point and no one is celebrating mediocrity. In a country where the institutions are weak and there is no sort of checks/balance, no one would have held his neck if he had failed to do so or ignore like other previous administrations. Everyone will just keep whining and complaining till the next election. This is also a country where people celebrate wooden overhead bridges. As much as I'm not a fan of this administration, permit me to laud the little effort made. Again, no one is celebrating mediocrity. |
Good question. 1. Distribution of Mass Prepaid meters. 2. Paying part of popsy's long owed pension arrears since Obasanjo/Atiku's administration. Buhari really took care of the aged. 3. Improvement in the electoral law. 4. More recently is Buhari's effort at ensuring a free and fair election and the way Baba dey press urchins neck. The rest na F9. The suffering far outweigh and rubbish the achievement. Too much Nepotism is the lowest highlight for me of this administration. #proudly Obidient |
There's really nothing to envy about these politicians. 99% are found wanting in character |
When we thought it was just their numbers. I always knew technology with taking the right steps would be the panacea to the malady of our elections. This election will be interesting. |
Same format chuksbaby used. They patiently wait till you put your whole trust in them, even if it would take years, then....boom! They pull the plug. To all scammers and intending scammers, it shall never be well with you. |
Fujiyama:It really saddens my heart. I really had high hopes for this election. For things to be different this time around. I guess this is the structure they so much place their confidence in. |
It amazes me that vote buying can still be a thing in Nigeria in 2023 after much suffering of afore years. How cheap can Nigerians be? Contrary to the topic, these women are actually grateful to the governor and prayerful that he will win the forthcoming election. Never again should they complain of bad roads for which Ogun state is notorious for. |
People are suffering oo. No wonder our politicians keep weaponizing poverty to their own gain. To those expecting to collect 5k or 10k to vote evil politicians, you only plunge yourselves further into poverty. Some set of people are blinded by tribe and ethnicity especially the older generations. U na suffering just dey load. |
Solanaa:So-fine |
Buharidgeneral:The killer should be punished equally. I however hate the hypocrisy of the law. I mean, the girl's father begged the NPA(National Prosecution Authority) to atleast investigate the circumstances leading up to her death but they blatantly refused cos a big Artiste was involved. Let's just say Nemesis caught up with him. His death may or may not be connected to her death but man, AKA lived by the sword. |
Sure, the father must have confirmed AKA's hand in his daughter's death. A rich family who are no push-overs themselves. Since the law couldn't get him, they had to settle the score street-wise. Truly, he met his match. |
grailife:Very simple. Go to the police closest to you to make a report of threat to your life. Infact your case has gone beyond that. It's actually a case of attempted murder, which leaves me wondering why you are taking this matter so lightly. If it were me, his ass would've been long cooling in jail right now. Don't wait till he kills you oo. |
'They can go and die' after he wins office. All these yahoo-political format don cast na. But this is Nigeria where there are and will always be gullible people. |
Treassured:Hahaha! Like your sacarsm. |
A welcome development. However, CBN should Inject more of the new notes into the economy. Ours is more of a cash driven economy. While finding alternatives It shouldn't be a crime to spend cash. |
O ti luqudate. |
My Yoruba people oo. They can't stream two or three complete sentence(s) without including oloshi, werey or ode |
Olumighty123:I guess he meant 5 days a week. |
Redomi:Learning in designated schools would be the best route. You get certified. It doesn't come cheap though. |
