Honestly you said it all, come and see many abandoned houses here, parents are no more children has also vanished all in the name of I don't want to stay with my parents. Eventually somebody else will inherit the properties what a rubbish the parents efforts are already in vain. Wasted efforts.

I pity old parents who built big houses thinking their children will inherit them.
My dad's compound is so big, It can accommodate our families. I just dey pity dem as they've grown old and everyone don dey japa. Even our kids don't even want to stay with our grandparents. I stay most times with them to keep them company as I'm the only male child. My dad hates the idea of hiring maids. I have a landed property too and sometimes wonder if the same fate as my parent awaits me. I got the property so others won't see me as a failure. You know our mentality/culture here frowns at you raising a family in your parents house especially after reaching a certain age.

We are any-how people with little or no standards and value for oneself and human life. The masses are being fooled to endure hardship as though the Govt is taking measures to better the lots of the people. Ours is suffering with no hope in sight. I refuse to endure the Nigerian type of hardship ooo. It's an hopeless situation.
I wish Nigerians can wake up, unite and eschew tribalism even for a year and demand what is right and just. We'd be surprised how much we'd achieve.

Being okay is not okay anymore. We see people's perfect lives on social media and we want to copy or outdo. There is so much pressure to be successful we do not even care if it will cost our lives. Contentment is not even preached anymore. If I lie go to any of these churches on Sunday. No one wants to associate with your struggling self. To them you have nothing to offer. The world is now crazy man!

How about FG begins to honour and show commitment to agreements earlier reached upon. Also the government should show concern for citizens and conduct themselves in tandem with the present realities. You don't tell citizens to tighten their belts while you go spend over #57.6billion on SUVs. People are dying everyday due to unprecedented hardship, poverty and hopelessness out there.
