There seems to be a comprehension issue amongst these kangaroo judges.
There is a huge difference between:

a. No later than 30 days
b. 30 days before...

That aside.
Why would the plaintiff even file for a hearing on the candidature of Kano LP, when LP didn't even come close to winning the Kano guber elections?

Why would Arabambi ( an LP exco) call for a press briefing saying Otti's election has been nullified?
Somethings do not add up.

INEC has a right to the BVAS.
I pray the courts to postpone LP inspection till after the Gubernatorial.
INEC has an election to conduct in a matter of days. Any act preventing them from this is tantamount to an electoral malpractice.

You have neither the morality nor integrity to make this gut-wrenching, cringe-worthy cacophony of words your just blurted out!

Business / Re: CBN Drops ATM Withdrawal Limit To N20k/Day by AquaPetals(f): 6:51pm On Dec 06, 2022
yemmit90:

They will get alot of cash from people. Remember people are already being discourage from making huge payments over the counter, individuals with cash will approach them to make transfers, especially those with huge cash.

Remember there would be too much money in circulation. Let me use myself as example, whenever I knew I won't be going to where ATM is, and I don't want to use POS, I make sure I withdraw enough Cash that would lasted me till next time I feel I can go to the area. Now that the daily limit is 20k, do you think I will withdraw less than this amount? Do you think if I have like 200k with me, and I will need money soon, the next thing I will do is to take it to bank where I won't be able to withdraw the same amount at once?

The policy is good if they stick to 200 denominations or less on ATM than setting a daily limit at 20k.

Besides, CBN should completely stop printing 1000 and 500 notes. Let people spend 200 down to 5 naira. Naira lost its value as a result of these higher denominations. People don't even value 50 naira anymore Let alone 20 or less.
Remember you only have between today and 9th Dec to withdraw as much as you want. What happens say, in 2weeks time? when no one can withdraw more than 20k per day? And mind you that the POS guys must have also exhausted the huge cash given to them.
And then, there is that necessity of POS operators discarding old naira notes for new ones.
Business / Re: CBN Drops ATM Withdrawal Limit To N20k/Day by AquaPetals(f): 5:21pm On Dec 06, 2022
yemmit90:

They will not as far as it does not affect electronic fransfer.

The implication of this policy is that, there would be too much money in circulation as people won't take their cash to the banks anymore. They would rather keep cash at home having known that they may unable to withdraw a certain amount if there is need for it. POS guys too will keep alot of cash instead of taking them to bank.

#200 or less denominations at ATM is more than enough to discourage heavy withdrawal. The policy will do more harm than good.
POS operators would suffer greatly. They need cash in order to make profits from withdrawals. Most of them withdraw about 100k per day from OTC or via ATM.

Family / Re: Her Husband Told Her To Pack by AquaPetals(f): 11:48am On Nov 22, 2022
frozen70:

So many people are in a tasteless marriage because of bad attitude and bad economy

Well I think the woman should focus on her business and children since the man is not making savings

I believe if the man can face feeding alone, that's OK for someone who can't make savings let's see if his family will not feed or if he can't feed tge family

While the wife should remain there and face school fees

Then both of them can handle house rent together

So many marriages these days are run by the wives and if the man humbles himself, she will carry the load and no one will know about it

But if the man is showing himself and yet he can't feed a whole day meal that's where the problem is
Her husband pays for all bills...feeding, school fees, rent, electricity, etc. He even assists her in sending money to her mom.
I don't know if her anger stems from the fact that he occasionally borrows money from her or he doesn't tell her what he does with money

They lost Mane, now it is Kouyate. Two-point men.
The moment Kouyate was stretched off, I knew Senegal would lose grip of this match.

Now they would have to beat Ecuador and Qatar.

Family / Her Husband Told Her To Pack by AquaPetals(f): 2:42am On Nov 21, 2022
My friend just came crying to me today. Because of the strong words used on her by her hubby.
Apparently, they had a heated argument. She started it all by accusing her husband of not saving enough money from his earnings (this was 11 months after pressurizing her husband to reveal his actual monthly earnings to her) .
She does a little business on the side and her husband usually borrows money from her, of which he always pays back. But she felt this shouldn't be so and kept wondering if her husband has a family elsewhere.
Her husband had enough of her rebuke and vehemently told her to pack up and leave the marriage if she was not satisfied with the way he saves his earnings.

Was he right to use such a statement on her? wasn't he taking it too far?

Do you have your PVC? Would you earnestly come out to queue and vote Obi on election day?
Let's be real bro.
Only PVCs properly voted to OBi can make him win. And unfortunately, most of those in your rallies don't posses it.

Obidients should as a matter of urgency, scrutinize their fan base. To separate the actual noisemakers from the REAL voters.
Politics / Why Peter Obi Won't Win In 2023 by AquaPetals(f): 2:10pm On Oct 02, 2022
I would start by commending the supporters and fans of the "Obidient" movement. They have really changed the narrative by proving naysayers wrong that Obi supporters do not only reside on twitter but are actual and real individuals.
Peter Obi and by extension, Labour Party have seen unprecedented organic support growth. The likes of which have never been experienced in the Nigerian political ecosystem. I also get this feeling that PDP are regretting not having Obi within their grasps.
I was impressed by the massive turnouts for the rally held at various locations within Nigeria. It shows that the people are fed up with the status quo.
However, how many of these Peter supporters actually have PVCs or have registered? Showing strong support both online and offline do not translate to election victory. Some of these supporters are actually saying Obi should be immediately sworn in! I find this quite laughable, to say the least.
In recent research, I carried out (mostly from interviews and questionnaires to "Obidients"wink, I discovered that 90% percent of these fans would likely not vote for Peter Obi on election day. Why? due to the following:

1. No PVC
It's a no-brainer, PVC is the tool by which you walk your talk shout.
During the recent voter registration exercise, I had to take a week's leave from my workplace in order to register. My local Government was not involved with the exercise, so I had to wake up as early as 4 am every day in order to beat the queue at another location. I work in an organization of 50 employees located on the Lagos mainland. About 10 of them are indifferent towards presidential elections (they don't give a Bleep). Out of the 25 who show support for Peter Obi:
5 have PVCs but their polling units are somewhere in the east. They didn't apply for transfer so I wonder how they would vote on election day if they are still in Lagos.
5 have PVCs registered in Lagos locations but they already have concrete plans to "japa" between now and January 2023.
Out of the remaining 15, only 1 has a PVC and would vote here on election day.
The remaining 14 never registered because they were either too busy with work or too lazy to get up early and queue for registration.
On the other hand, the 15 employees who show support for Tinubu (my MD inclusive) have their PVCs ready and would vote for him on election day.
Also shocking to note: During my time in the queue to register, I noticed that those who were faithful to the cause were Tinubu supporters. These were made up of mostly market women and some not-so-decent men (commonly referred to as touts/agberos) . In fact, I saw an elderly woman who was in the queue, not for herself but for her son. He couldn't join early so she held a spot for him until he arrived.

2. Election day sharp practices
These include thuggery by opposition parties. Thugs could create insecurity and scare off obidients from voting.
Vote buying. We all know Lapour Party doesn't give "shishi".
Underage voting. The North has past records of this.

With these few points of mine, I want obidients not to be surprised if the 2023 presidency do not tilt towards their direction.

Shalom!
