Why have I not gotten it? Why has p.diddy and all the people he is gonna co-host the revolt news with not gotten it? Mad people, black Americans are bunch of deluded alarmists. Over here an average black American will commit a crime and will expect a judge not to convict and send him to jail when found guilty. Over here they don't go to college, they all wanna be gangsters and they hate on the whites for no just reason. All they do is drugs and hoeing around and yet they wanna compete with the whites. Latinos have more morals now than my African American brothers and sisters. For p.diddy it's all about the money. Corona virus knows no race, the blacks dying from it are probably the chain smokers and drug addicts whose lungs are semi-damaged already.

Your perspective is very informative...people with compromised immune systems who don't eat well, exercise or take care of themselves are truly at greater risk of contracting and dying from any disease...

It is only in a society like ours, that industry is a crime. You are punished for being industrious.

Stimulus packages all over the world are for people who have lost income or wages due to the lockdown, these are people who have been contributing to the GDP of Nigeria with their small and medium scale businesses, people who pay taxes, not the ones who were already walking city to city with their begging bowl in hand.

There is an issue in this, in that the government has muddled social welfare package with bailout/stimulus package. The government is now using stimulus package budget to pay social welfare that should have always been part of our budget all these years...

What now happens to those who the stimulus package is meant for?

When situations in life get very difficult, start by standing back from the situation,
distance yourself from it, it gives clarity and a better perspective.

If it is a toxic person, cut them off...at least until the poison they infused you with has left your veins, only time and introspection can achieve this. Do not contact them and block all avenues of them contacting you.

If it is a toxic place or situation , change location...temporarily first...pay a week-long visit to a friend or relative who knows what you are going through, so they can support you; if your temporary location is in the same city, better... so your work is not affected. Being busy and having a structured day helps a mind in turmoil.

All kinds of drama happens that makes life hard, even unbearable, sometimes it is people that cause it, at other times it is a fluke situation like this Corona virus. We have to deal with it one moment/step at a time.

Life is hard, unpredictable and beautiful all at once, but it is a gift worth it's weight in Gold!

No matter what a person's personal belief on a topic, it is cruel and unkind to constantly and consistently make mockery of another's pain and suffering. Only persons with a mental disorder do it. They are called sociopaths.

I will continue to do what we have been doing...Ignore them.

If you're going to say something, say it to me like a healthy human as Merahki and don't be a cowardly amphibious toad.

That aside, I've not seen your handle before today yet you seem to know a lot about my comments... probably an alternate.

I don't know if I should be flattered or just feel sorry for you.

1. I have met monsters in real life, so no, I am not cowardly, hence I am not afraid of you; a low level demon hiding behind his keyboard.

2. I usually do not have conversations with demons, I have conversations with others about identifying, understanding and vanquishing those demons.

3. I do not have any need to speak with you. I was speaking with Merahki about a 'phenomenon' which we had both noticed.

4. Also it is okay that you have not 'noticed' me, I am not here to be noticed, I'm here to contribute my 10cents to topics that touch me, unlike you who has made it your life's goal to be noticed, jumping from thread to thread commenting like a sociopathic know-it-all

5. Please go back to the nothing you have been doing. I will now completely ignore you like I have ever since

Backhanded compliment and therefore antagonism embarassed (I don’t even know if it’s a term, but, there.)
She has made her decision, please allow her to breathe. It’s not fair what you are doing.
She is leaving to find her peace, allow her to it
Her husband can have a truckload of kids with his new lover, it is okay, let him have his peace
But kindly allow this woman to be. Her fellow vow taker betrayed her trust big time. That is the main sin. Do you even see that? Can’t she just lash out however she wants?
I don’t like your priapristic gender warring stance, it makes you defend only men, invariably. Even when you try to mask it, I just see it. That’s just wrong.
(You are not the only one who does it meanwhile but from you? I don’t like it, I dunno why).

My constant thoughts about that guys comments..... I'm yet to decide if he's just a good ol' troll or just playing devil's advocate. Everytime I see his comments, I get a mental picture of Al Pacino's fantastic depiction of the character in the movie

There is just something unsettling about it...bordering on sinister or diabolic

our useless government will not pump money into this now.

the world is in need of ventilators.

Na their way. They prefer to spend multi millions importing some other country's invention, which may or may not be as good as ours...

This lockdown of the world may yet be good for Nigeria and Africa. We can't import anything right now, so we are forced to use the natural resources we already have to produce the things we need. Instead of selling off our raw materials cheap like we used to and importing expensive finished products.

The powers that be in the world, that has hitherto forced Africa to buy their used things can have no say right now. They are all busy fighting their share of the demon that is Covid 19

I totally agree with you dear.
It's tough when an introvert and an extrovert are paired. My boyfriend of 4 years recently broke up with me because he thinks I bore him. Whilst in the relationship, In a bid to inquire what I wasn't doing right, when I asked him why he was always cheating, his response was that he was looking elsewhere for emotional entertainment with someone more interesting, and he wished I could be less boring. It hit me hard because I thought he understood the kind of person I was, and that I was trying to do things that I normally wouldn't do, just to please him.

I just wish he knew that If I’m quiet and/ or straight-faced, I’m probably not mad: I’m just people-watching.

I don't know where people, especially extroverts get the impression that Introverts are boring or uninteresting. We are usually fun, intelligent, entertaining and deep, we just don't make a loud show of it and we prefer to express all of this in our comfort zone.

I'm sure you are interesting, it is not your fault that your ex prefers shallow and superficial fun. Please don't feel bad and don't let this experience shake your self esteem. You fantastic just as you are, he is just not the right one for you.

I know the feeling. If you have met a significant other who doesn't mind your requirement, the next obstacle will be your parents and her parents. Remember that the wedding belongs to family and the marriage belongs to you two.

Good luck!

Why do many Nigerians see formal adoption as a bad thing though?
Is it that you're looking down on adoption or what?
It's only in baby factories you will see some kind of evil support, but a legal adoption where the children can be monitored to see if they're faring well where they are, is frowned on. Some even call me wicked for suggesting that.
You dey mad ni?

There is nothing wrong with adoption. It is the way you said it that incites feelings of hurt.

Even in developed countries, the government would rather give welfare to family, including food stamps and grocery slips than to take the kids from them, as long as the parent is mentally and emotionally capable and the kids are in no danger of neglect or abuse.

When parents are unavailable or unfit, social services would rather place the kids with a blood relative or a foster family, such that when the parents become fit, they can have their child(ren) back in their own care.

Kids are always best with their own parents, adoption is a last resort. In this OPs case, he just needs financial assistance. He is broke and grieving and those babies are all that's left of his wife.

Sir, I will like to clear this misconception.

As much as I am not a Muslim, I am a Yoruba but I think we may have gotten this Yoruba and Hausa Fulani partnership all mistaken.

Historically, Igbos and Hausa Fulani had always had it together until Igbos Bleep'd the arrangement up through the coup de tat by Kaduna Nzeogwu and Emmanuel Ifeaguna (Igbo).

Check it,

1960.... Nigeria Independence
First Republic: 1960-1966
Prime Minister: Tafawa Balewa (Hausa/Fulani or whatever, but not Yoruba or Igbo)
President: Nnamdi Azikiwe (Igbo)
Yoruba: ?

Second Republic: 1979-1983
President: Shehu Shagari (Hausa/Fulani or whatever they want to call it, but not Yoruba or Igbo)
Vice President: Alex Ekwueme (Igbo)
Yoruba:?

Third Republic: 1993
MKO Abiola (Yoruba), Running Mate: Kingibe (Hausa) won Tofa (Hausa) and his running mate, Sylverster Ugoh (Igbo) in the election
Francis Arthur Nzeribe (Igbo) appealed to court to stop the declaration of MKO Abiola as the winner something IBB capitalized on to annul the election.

Fourth Republic: 1999-2007
Obasanjo (Yoruba) and Running mate Atiku Abubakar (Hausa Fulani) won

Fifth Republic:2007-2011
Yar Adua (Hausa Fulani) and running Mate, Jonathan (South-South/Igbo)

Sixth Republic: 2011-2015
Jonathan (South-South/Igbo) running mate, Namadi Sambo (Hausa Fulani) won

Seventh Republic: 2015-2019
Buhari (Hausa/Fulani) and running mate, Yemi Osinbanjo (Yoruba) won

Eighth Republic: 2019-
Buhari (Hausa/Fulani) and running mate, Yemi Osinbanjo (Yoruba) won

So you can see that Igbo served the Hausa folks well against the Yoruba folks and only lost out due to the Biafran War and even derailed the most peaceful election in Nigeria just as to appease the Hausa master. They even staged a 2 million man march for Abacha to campaign as a civilian President, headed by one Daniel Kanu (Igbo).

It's only when the narration does not fit you, you resort to Yoruba asslicking Fulani butt... from the outset, Igbos had been the ASSLICKERS!!

We are not interested in this long winded write-up from history. We are interested in NOW! What is going wrong now, not what happened in the past, long before many of us were born.

We are in the now and we keep going back to the past to exhume corpses and skeletons that want to be left in peace, quoting history that has been tampered with, which all the tribes of Nigeria have a different version of.

The people that lived at the time of that history you are quoting failed us all. They must have done something wrong to have left a foundation so broken and unstable. Are you not exhausted with the 'history quoting?' I know I am tired.
