@Justwise and all, I was the one who that shared my refusal letter some weeks back. I got very useful advice from here. At a point I wanted to give up but God came through. Got a new CAS and re-applied, decision came out positive in 7days. Thanks to everyone and particularly those that suggested I apply for a new CAS rather than AR.

I recently got an unconditional offer letter from Sheffield Hallam University, however my problem now is that I have misplaced my original WAEC certificate. The university used my photocopy and scratch card to confirm the authenticity of the result.

Is it safe to go ahead to apply for my VISA with this document or I should endeavor to do IELTS?

Please help, has anyone ever had similar experiences?

My husband is the main applicant and we have requested for CAS since August from Northampton university, we haven't gotten it yet, though we are hopeful to get it this week because we have called the school.

School is resuming today but there is a deadline for resumption till 24th of October.. We would only be financially capable to opt for priority, but which TLS would you advise for walk in? Also is the #42k per family or each individual in the family will pay #42k

I applied to university of Southampton and was assured of full or partial scholarship by my faculty head. After, I was offered an unconditional admission which make the atmosphere funky and in my mind I'm about to paint the town red because of high expectation of full scholarship. I was sent CAS form to fill, no tuition deposit. I was asked to send my initial visiting visa refusal letter which I did and due to the reason given on the refusal stating insufficient fund, I was asked to send a POF, I wrote to the casteam that my pof is not up to 28days and the receiver said I should send it for CAS consideration but I should makesure its 31days before applying for visa, after waiting for almost 27days with high hope and preparation to soon become iya Charlie person, I received an heartbreaking message that they could not issue me CAS because of multiple transactions in my account ( mind you it was just 10m that was sent to the account twice to make 20m ) and my refusal letter was due to I sufficient fund. I wrote them severally stating that the account I used for my visiting visa application was my salary account which has like 4.5m and the one I use now is for my study which is 20m . I attached the 2 statement of account from 2 different banks to clarify. but unfortunately after 12days they reply my message that their decision stand oh. I have been depressed and sad for past 3days because I have planned all my movements and delayed , reject some work because of time frame and now still stocked with baba bubu. I'm just trying to snap out of it now and trying to summon courage to apply to other schools for January intake.
. I think I will advise if you are to send pof to any where make it 28days because I was even mislead by the school team.

i only asked about d student visa fee general cost because I really don't know whether naira fluctuations affect the fee cost.. in total, does it mean that the general student visa fee (plus heath insurance and priority visa) is $1910 total

Good day fam, my cas was issued on the 26th of August , POF will be ready on the 16th of this month and I intend to apply same 16th , my course start date us 20th SEP and Deadline as stated in CAS is 15th October, my question is judging from the facts above, should I apply for Priority visa ? or worst case super priority ( mehn no money but don't want to take chances )

Grateful to the almighty God who knows the end of a thing before it even begins. The all-knowing and all-sufficient God!

CAS Issued: 6th of August 2021
Visa Application: 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th of August 2021 (Applied till about 3 am in the morning)
Biometrics: 9th of August 2021 (Walk-in at TLS Ikeja). Got there with my Family by 4 am and left by about 11:30 am.
Main Applicant: Priority
Dependants: Standard.
Main Applicants Passport Collection email 2:23 pm 17th of August 2021, Passport collected 17th of August 2:50 pm.
Dependants Collection email 3:56 pm 1st of September 2021, Passport collected 10 am 2nd of September 2021pm.

Many of those who applied as a family with the main applicant as priority and dependants as standard all got their passports on the same date as the main applicant. However, this was not our case and it was a very long 17 working days. Made several phone calls to UKVI and One Paid email during this period. I suspect the TLS guy in Ikeja didn't do something right as during the biometric he mentioned something about linking our application together. O Well, that's all in the past now.

Also noticed that the main applicant's decision was in Pretoria while the dependants were done in Abu Dhabi.

No Non-Straight Forward email.
No Interview.

Advice
A small tip for those who will be making calls to UKVI based on my own experience. Use Skype for this and load about $10. Calls from Skype to UK numbers is about $0.075. While I noted that using this process, my Debit Card was never charged for any call.

Except your middle name is patience, please do PRIORITY!!!.

My congratulations is here. Only God has the final say. What God cannot do, does not exist.

This journey to japa started since 2017. We started with Canada express entry. We did everything required and entered the pool not knowing that being in the pool is not a guarantee of being picked. When we realised it could take eternity to be picked from the pool we decided to try the student route yet I got refused 3 times . That was how I gave up and decided to begin further studies here in 9ja first. However, I realized I was guiding and helping my friends and colleagues to move out of the country while I still remained in 9ja. I wasn’t bothered initially, but the situation of the country coupled with the spate of insecurity made us to rethink our future, especially because of our children.
Finally we decided to go through the UK student route...to cut long story short God came through for us, the whole process was seamless , where it seems it was going to be difficult, God showed forth and made it easy.

Family of 5 all submitted at the same time

Date of Biometrics : August 17th. We had appointment for one and paid for walk in for the remaining 4
Visa type: Paid for priority for main applicant and standard for others

Centre: Ikeja TLS

Collection Email: 26th August

School: Sheffield Hallam University

Passport picked up 27th Aug.for main applicant, my husband and one of my children. Got a non straight forward mail for one of the kids and to also resend her TB certificate few days after biometrics. Awaiting collection mail for the remaining two.

My appreciation especially to all who take their time to respond to questions in the group. I have been a silent reader but gathered enough information that helped me through this process. No agent was used .

Yes someone can help you to write ,the best time to
Write is around 2am so you can do it same day,
Yes you can help dependents to write name
All you need is your barcode number at the top of your checklist page.
You will take number for each dependent and write each barcode



You can go around 2pm if you Don’t want to walk in same day ,then wait till closing time ,the staff will call for writing name for next day walk in,the person will call the remaining walk-in that were unable to do ,then rewrite another name for next day and those around that want to walk-in next day.

Go a day before to write down your name. You’ll eventually be able to do your biometrics the second day because the first day won’t be possible as a result of the spill-over they’ll have had the day before, and they’ll want to finish those ones up before attending to the people of the following day.

Make sure you go as early as 5 or 5:30am tomorrow and write your name down on the paper outside. By 1:30 or 2 pm, they will collect that appear from you and transfer those names to their own official list. Anybody left over from Friday will be written down first on their official list. So if 10 people are left over from Friday, Monday’s new comers will begin at like number 11. So you have to come on time. By the next day (Tuesday) around 11 or 11:30am, the queue will reach you.
