Good morning my people, just entered UK last week, as dependent. My wife is doing her msc.
I want to get a care support job. What training do I need to do to get the required certificate also is DBS compulsory before I can get Support work job.
DBS is compulsory, look for agencies or care companies wherever you are, most of them will organize your mandatory training and DBS. You can search with job site like indeed.

I think they will just pay for another COS which is 199 pounds but prices are going up soon too with the new announcements. But confirm from your HR. Thought it’s a cost for the employer
Ok thanks.

Just relocate to London temporarily and get your sponsorship, once you switch your visa after one year, start looking for roles according to your desired location that will offer sponsorship too, it's easier for companies to switch you from one tier 2 to another especially if it's the same occupation code as it cost them far less. Hope this helps
Do you have an idea how much it will cost the company in getting another COS in the same occupation code? I am about doing this and I intend knowing the cost before approaching HR

Please, is this refund automatic? I'm asking because I switched from student visa with about 9 months left, and I haven't received any refund after almost three months of switching. Can you assist with the number you called please?
You are entitled to your full refund as far as you can continue to show your payslips every 6 months

Hello, please is any one living in Stafford or anywhere around, that has or can link me up with a room for a short let for 4 weeks. I have tried spare room but all the ones there are for minimum 6 months let. Airbnb is quite pricey for me.

Tb result is same day if u all is well...unless there are too many pple and they couldnt give all result before night fall...then u may have to go back the next day

If ur employer did not provide the document where he ticked yes for mainenance...mayb u should ask ur employer if maintenance covers ur dependants.....

If u have it ...upload it...if you dont dont bother....UKVi has access to it anyway
Thanks very much.

Please I have some questions to ask if you are applying for health care visa from Nigeria.

How long does it take IOM to get TB result ready after the test? It used to be ready same day.

For a dependant whose partner maintenance fund is covered by the company sponsoring, do u need to put maintenance fund in your accounts for 28 day or you are covered by the company?

Do you upload any letter or document to show your sponsor is covering your maintenance fund or only the COS is ok?

Thanks.

The timelines right now are something else.. I would advise anyone that need quick turn around to use priority. Its £500 but usually decision is given around 24 - 72 hours.
I regret not doing priority. The waiting is something else as you said.

I actually don't the category you are talking about but I submitted my application online a week before my biometric and I got a successfulapplication mail the following day of my biometric. N.b I did the normal priority.
That's really fast. It's normally when you do super priority you get that kind of quick decision. Applied 4 weeks ago, standard application normally 6 - 8 weeks. Hoping to hear from them by October.

IHS Reimbursement

Wow! this was very fast. They said 6weeks to get it.. I just received $450 in my dollar account for my IHS Reimbursement. I applied on the 11th of Sept and received it today , please how can I get the money..I used Gtb dollar account to make the iHS payment, I have the master card here. Kindly advice..Thank you
Nice one, congratulations. I just applied yesterday for mine. The issue am having is that I want them to make the payment to my account here in the UK. The dollar account I used in Nigeria is not active at the moment and I don't have the strength to activate account and getting a card from Nigeria. Anyone who has successfully received payment in another account should guide me through.
