How can one convince the university that their waec certificate is lost and you can't get another one in less than 6 months? Will an affidavit and the waec scratch card be acceptable? I need to present this to get my unconditional offer. |
I got a conditional offer from Ulster University, Birmingham. They are insisting on my waec certificate which got lost some years back. I 've sent my statement of result and a scratch card pin number for them to verify the results. Has anyone encountered this challenge before because they are still insisting on the certificate. |
Seunsoul2015:Not correct, check their website |
Lake56:Check University of Hull |
Coldie:If you factor in the cost of commuting from Luton to London for studies then you 'll not advise that. |
sammyoo:Try gumtree.co.uk. |
dlastcapricorn:Tell him to pursue nursing degree in the UK. He 'll have job offers before graduation. |
Hello, how does this work if you are in Nigeria dlumier: |
Marula:You need to evaluate only your masters and waec |
I just found out that my name was wrongly spelt in my waec Certificate. The issue now is, waec is saying it will take a minimum 6 months to correct this error. I intend swearing an affidavit stating my correct names and attached it to the mail WAEC is sending to wes. I don't know if someone has any similar experience or maybe a better idea how this can be sorted without waiting for waec for 6 months. This is the only result I have. If I had not made payment to WES I would have considered other assessors. Thanks |

Please has anyone requested for transcript from Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, I will like to know the process and if one must be there physically? My wife graduated from there some years back and currently based in Port Harcourt with no contact in the university to make enquiry on her behalf. She just gave birth and not keen on traveling for now. |
Thanks I highly doubt this. One of WAEC staff in the Gwagwalada office told me directly that "anything concerning international communications/correspondence was strictly handled by their International Liaison Office" which happens to be at the Yaba office. So, if your verification is being requested by an international institution, you may have to make a trip to Lagos like some of us did or find someone you can rely on to make the visit to WAEC Yaba office for you.[/quote] |
Please apart from waec office in Yaba, can the verification be done in Port Harcourt or any other waec office and sent to WES. |

I expected OBJ to reach out to Yar'Adua and tell him to slow down on Ribadu. Am just imaging how he feels, seeing all what Ribadu is going through. I tire for naija, its a very funny place. |
~Sauron~:Sauron whether you like it or not he is a hero to the vast majority of Nigerians, thats why people like Gani are supporting him. He was human, therefore susceptible to mistakes. As EFCC chairman it was not his duty to put food on our table or provide electricity, his actions would have made such things possible indirectly in the long term as there wont be abandoned contract anymore. People like you just come to nairaland to display your childish mentality, because you cannot argue your points without insulting people. |
I am happy Gani rejected it. Yar'Adua is a shame and disgrace, things re going back in naija everyday, the man is confused. The embarrassment would ve been more effective if he has really gone there and publicly refused it. Before the cameras, they would not ve touched him, because the whole world is watching. ![]() |
The Iboris of this world will continue to fail, the story in Daily Independent is a hatchet job. If Ribadu ever apply for asylum the UK, they might just give the excuse that they are processing it for years in order not to take sides. The truth of the matter is that he took the battle against corruption to new heights that had never be seen before. He is human, he made some mistake but compare to what he did, he is one of our heroes, who had showed that there is still hope. |

My advice to anybody is that if you are denied visa, patiently appeal. Mine took 6 months, the embassy called me to come for my visa. The Assylum and Immigration Tribunal (AIT), here in the UK is quite fair, just present your documents (photocopies) properly. You can get a lawyer in naija that will assist you in drafting a letter. |
Afriquiyah is the cheapest, there is a 2 hour stop over in Tripoli, Libya. |
