My son's passport is still with UKVI. Every other member of the family has gotten their passports and visas. I have called severally and the response is a decision has been made and the passport is on queue since last week. I don't know why they 'll keep on holding his passport. |

izyblaze: Just arrived in the UK on Saturday via Virgin Atlantic, so let me finally share my visa alert
VISA ALERT! VISA ALERT!! VISA ALERT!!! Application 16th September Biometrics 21st September after using 4 days to do walk in, including sleeping at tls two nights! Ikeja tls is the absolute ghetto Collection mail, October 4th, after how many days and I paid priority. Mtcheew Dhl Delivery October 6th. Booked Virgin Atlantic the next day, for Saturday October 9th, arrived safely same day, their services was top notch btw.
Questions asked at the border was not much, just my school, course, my school fees, who’s paying for it, then he noted it was expensive lol, I agreed it is. Then he asked my plans after school, that was all. Just basic questions you can’t fail, if you’re a genuine student. When I left the airport, the cold slapped my forehead and they said this is not winter yet, wahala o. Lmaoooo anyways, good luck to all expecting their visas, and welcome to the Uk to new arrivals. BRING WINTER JACKET O, at least one.
WHAT GOD CANNOT DO, DOES NOT EXIST! Congrats |

TundeChris: Hi, bro. How are you doing? I want to ask for your opinion on something.
I got an unconditional offer from my UNI, I presented a copy of my WAEC (I can't find the original), they confirmed it with the scratch card and all ... However now I got my CAS and on my CAS, under the "Documents used to prove qualifications", Bsc and Waec which they confirmed were ratified.
My fear now is that applying for VISA, would it not be a problem if it is only the copy I would be submitting? I am nervous about this. Should I get a letter from my secondary school and a court affidavit? Would it fly? If the copy you uploaded to get your CAS is coloured and not black and white, you can upload it when applying for visa. You don't need hard copy to apply for visa. Also since your university has verified it i dont think you should be bothered. |

Royalsmaryam: I am having this same issue. Up to 4 times now, I have entered my card details and debited up to 2,000 even without speaking to any agent. no agent is picking up. I can’t call them from Mtn line, it will say call failed. I hav spent up to 5k airtime on Glo, it says please wait after debiting me until they cut the call by themselves. Please how did you later speak to them? I have sent you a private mail also. I’m getting depressed Try it through Skype. That's what I was advice to do but I 've not yet. I de work. |

Baysbabe: It’s raining visas o!!!
Visa collected for family of five (5) today. *Biometrics: 22 September Ikeja TLS (Priority for all 5 of us) *Sent to DMC same day and received by DMC... Then it decided to hang there. *Declared previous travels to US and UK as well as previous refusals (one refusal for US last year and one for UK 11 years ago). *No non-straightforward mail, but I was so anxious when the 5-working day priority period elapsed. Sent a mail to UK Visa and Immigration last week Tuesday and got a response to provide more details for investigation (GWF number, passport number, date of birth, place of application, date of biometrics. reason for escalation etc.). Nothing heard from them again till now. *Got collection mail for all 5 of us yesterday between 2:44pm and 3:06pm. *Picked up today after waiting on a long queue for almost two hours. Next plan- Travel.
Although I had already submitted our visa application before joining this thread, I enjoyed following the conversations and got one or two learnings from here.
Thanks to all who support others here and congrats in advance to all waiting to collect their visas.
God is great!!! Congratulations |

GeraRoom: Hello Good People!
I and my family are scheduled for TB test next week but my child's passport (2years old) isn't out yet.
Please has anyone successfully done tests for their kid(s) without international passport? Perhaps only Birth Certificate?
I read it here sometime ago but can't remember the resolution.
Kindly assist You can use birth certificate. When passport is out you take it to them to print the certificate. They 'll charge you 8,000 to print the certificate. |

Tket: VISA ALERT!
What God cannot do does not exist!
Biometric: 22nd Sept (Premium Lounge, priority) Collection mail: 4th October
This is for myself and spouse. Kids on standard, premium lounge too so still waiting.
Premium lounge is a lot better than walk in, depending on the rush.
14yrs study gap. No non- straightforward mail No interview Aston University
Thank you Jesus! Congrats! Did biometrics on 21st and visa is out also but the kids own is at DMC. Seems they no longer link dependants to the main applicant |

Hello, has anyone that did biometrics (standard) on the 20th and 21st of September gotten collection mail yet or their application moved to VAC. Main applicant has gotten visa but dependants still at DMC. All application where linked together to the main priority application at tls. Any one with the same challenge? |
