festacman: Augustine Eguavon is not particularly a successful coach going by accomplishments. But his bold performance at AFCON once again made a strong case for highly qualified indigenous coaches like Emmanuel Amunike, George Finidi, etc.
He was unlucky not to have Victor Osihmen, Dennis Emmanuel, Etebor, etc in the squad for selection. However, it must be said that rather than coach Eguavoen's tactics, it was team spirit and of course individual player form that took us far during group stage. When tactics were badly needed at KO stage, coach of Tunisian team showed superiority.
Nevertheless, in order not to distract the players, Augustine Eguavoen should oversee our WC qualifiers against Ghana. About not having certain players in the team We all know Tunisian had plenty missing too, so how did they overcome our fully fit players? |

The moment the SE stop trying to win is the moment they loose.
Never quit in life until you have tried all your possible best and never believe you have tried your possible best until you have won.
Nobody is a looser yet. Only those who quit tryin to win are the loosers. Motivational speaker don drop quote |

Yampotatocarrot: Boring firsthalf... Even the referee was bored
I expect changes in the team, the midfield was practically no where to be found. Where is the fun derived from watching Chukwueze in his clubside, he has been behaving like an Egyptian mummy so far in this competition, just there for history sake.
We have to take the midfield back from the Egyptians, and Kels should learn to close his mouth. Also, probably Olayinka should be brought in for Awoniyi...
The defence has been solid so far Helloooo |

Kenturkey048: Thank you for seeing where the problem is....if eguaveon and his technical olodos are sensible , they should bring in iwobi or nwakali..Remove Awoniyi or Iheanacho..
This was what I saw against Sudan..no middle..who plays ball presently with two strikers? You are a novice and not in any position to tell the coaching crew what to do And a lot of teams still play 442... |

Kenturkey048: Tunisian team nor dey ball...Our coach no get sense...because he used 2 strikers with one playing as false 10 to beat Egypt. He doesn't want to change the pattern again...
There isn't any player linking the central to attack.thats why you see player like Ekong lunching pass from defense..The wings are blocked..Normally Iwobi or Nwakali suppose dey field...because both players know how tow to push.
Aribo and Ndidi are defensive. Nigerians sha Suddenly your coach no get sense Common sense should tell you a coach always stick with what has been working Carry your badluck commit here |

If Tunisians gain the confidence, it is game over... I don't think they came afraid Didn't you hear the coach said they are coming like soldiers today? |
