And since he became Popular in the motor parks of Oshodi, Obalende, Okoko Miko , etc, when he knows he has no family reputations in Lagos State, some then Politicians took interest in him to use him to gain votes by either violence or rigging elections in Lagos State....

From there, he was promise a Senatorial seat and he was made a Senator.

After his Senatorial position ended, since he is a man of selfish thoughts and focused to determination to achieve his aim either by crook or death of some oppositions, he moved to Lagos State Government house and told the then Governor that he will be the Governor of Lagos State....

The uproar saw to the killing of one Williams , and Tinubu went back to the same Motor parks and ofcourse he had his boys he promised alot during his campaign days as a Motor parks Chairman ......

He grouped them and recruited them back as his supporters and caused the first unrest in the history of Lagos State during the election period which made him the Governor of Lagos State.......
He changed the status quo of Yorubas being the most educated tribe in Nigeria to Yorubas being the most out of school Agberos in Nigeria....
