bonjelow:My dear a relative faced a similar dilemma around 20 years ago. My advice (along with some other family members) was that he should do his NYSC and defer his going for master's abroad. He did and went abroad the following year. Today he's one of the younger members with a high position in the party ruling in his state. He's making impact at grass root, doing things under his political office portfolio. He still has that foreign mind of keeping promises. At least for now. Hope he keeps it up. He established abroad before returning temporarily, but may become permanent. He maintains all he established abroad from 9ja right now. Family still abroad too. Now he's set to keep rising. Already eyeing a federal position. Nigeria might not be great right now, but still try to do things legally, lest we be worse than the old cargo leaders we lambast daily here on NL. |
Good. Nice explanation. Sweet voice too. |
Runs in the family. No biggie. |
abimic:Abi o. These days that women have so much expectation, want to be like their friend who married a rich man. Good idea but problematic in practice. Two women can hardly co-exist happily in one matrimonial home these days. |
Grayjoy:Abi o. Victim mentality always. What about the promotion, favour and other perks the junior staff must have enjoyed through opening her legs? |
This is serious o. He didn't die for Ashanti Kotoko. But faraway Chelsea. We Africans really like importing everything. Even football club to support. Rip to him. |
Princesscherry:Lol. |

frenzyduchess:What is wrong with the gown ma? To me she seems happier and more relaxed than many who wear expensive wedding gown. To each his own you said. So the lady is happy with her gown. |
Do women ever like to hear the truth? Say she's pretty even when hideous with fake things all over her body & she will shine her teeth. |
OK |
RexEmmyGee:Dude why did he deactivate all his social media accounts if cool with it? If it wasn't a mistake he would have stayed to explain that he decided to come out at last. |
afamaustin:Lol. ![]() |
stephleena:Now follow what she wrote boasting that made me reply her if you know anything about fairness. Not all about female solidarity. Check my posts since 2011 if boasting about money on threads is my style. Little girls hopping from sugar daddy to sugar daddy or married just to escape poverty should shut their mouths instead of insulting all those trying to honestly make it in life as broke. Everyone has to start somewhere. I challenge you not to be tribal or sexist in taking a stand. My challenge to Amaraebe still stands. I do not like unfinished business. People cannot just be running their mouth or first insulting people nearly their mother's age just because they have mb. That is not on. |
Amarabae:Lol. Community school where? Nothing wrong with community school. It is human beings who go there. I do not look down on people like you. I worked hard, so I never despise small beginnings. Since you have not got anywhere in life yet, you brag anyhow based on a man's perceived wealth. I am not new on Nairaland. There are people who can easily see if I lie. Let anyone come forward and dispute my assertions with evidence. I hope you have evidence of 25 million or £50,000 you're going to dash me annually. Do not try to wriggle out of it. You said it with your mouth/finger/keyboard. So keep to it if you're a woman of your word. Unless you're just an empty barrel as I first said. If you're just empty, desist from bragging about wealth. Because many humble & silent people on Nairaland can indeed feed you for 30 years easily. In fact many people in that same 9ja already feed many like you for years. Yet they make no noise. |
Amarabae:Jobless ass? ![]() Lolz. Sorry where I am even if jobless, I will still get far more than an average 9ja banker. My accommodation cost alone easily pays several entry level graduate bankers in 9ja. My child's private school's annual fee in hard currency is more than Buhari's official annual salary. Just putting it in perspective for you. So that if you're going to feed me for 30 years including my expenses have 25 million Naira x 30. And please factor in annual inflation for the next 30 years. Please show me your bank statement to prove your ability. Since you first boasted about your wealth. Then I will happily upload my child's school bill in hard currency. Unlike 9ja, you can easily ring up the school and verify it. Not saying I am rich o. Far from it. At least you madam rich woman (female version of Dangote) can dash me 25 million Naira per year pere. That should take care of me. ![]() I know your obsession with wealth make you see anyone not bragging like you as poor. Some people just have chest beating in their DNA. When posing inside a car as a passenger is considered cool, then you know that person is portraying non-existing affluence. I challenge you on this. Peace. |

Make dem carry their daughter go o. |
Bbbbbbbbbbbb:Na today? Empty barrel makes the loudest noise. She will be shocked to see that hubby has very little of his own money. Maybe business money turn over. You know how women assume men have money. She must have had a poor background hence her constant fear of poverty. She just escaped it. Scared to experience it again. You never hear those with original old money(not new money) flaunting it or bragging about it. Or rubbing it in people's faces. Simple psychology. |
Wealth has always been like that. Did King Solomon, a righteous man, really need all those hundreds of women to be happy? Not really. But it was considered blessing from God. But wealthy people like to accumulate various things: houses, cars, wives, toys/cars, exclusive club membership, etc. Man is greedy by nature. He can never have enough. |
Sofrosh:Weyrey! ![]() |
Tajine/maraq is far more popular in Maghreb. Whether meat/chicken or vegetable or mixed tajine. I like Moroccan tajine a lot. |
Party, food & drink. ![]() |
At least she's responsible and looking after her health. |
Incredibly superb. |
They are still on this matter? Why the delay since na? I hope dem go let us hear word finally. |
SmellingAnus:The thing nor tire you? Death by "eye pluckery" is the latest. |
Where are Sarrkophant and crew gushing over Tillerson visit to Bubu just about 40 hours ago? ![]() Trump only sent him to see "Sh!totholian-in-Chief" so that he can perfect his sack in peace! |
Nigeria is too big, too diverse and too heterogeneous for clannish Africans to manage well. Diversity is good but too much diversity isn't when just setting out to develop. Most advanced countries were heterogeneous before later allowing diversity. In historically diverse ones, one race was in charge, keeping others under strict control via racist policies, segregation etc. It might not be politically correct but it helped them. |
Caustics:Why? How old is she? Is it even legal to employ a house girl of that age? Has she attained age of culpability? We need to get basic stuff right. House help should be at least 16 to 18, trained and registered. With a clean conduct/police record. With minimum wage & working conditions regulated. When we have got all that right, then any offending nanny/house help can face the full wrath of the law. Before you ask let me answer: I will not employ an underage girl from who knows where to look after my child. So she cannot have the chance to harm my child. |
