Most men are not even complaining about being sole breadwinner. They do it gladly. Problem is lack of appreciation from dear wife.

Yes many women do not work because their husbands don't want them to. Or they have many young kids or some other genuine reasons.

But couples need to be open from the get go about: family finance, income & expenses, how to fund a growing family, plans for the future, investment, etc.

Problem is some people including many stay at home wives want to live big, splash out on luxuries, etc. They forget that you need to save, invest, manage for now so that the family can be in a better economic standing going forward. If that means doing business from home: fashion, baking cakes/cookies and so on, so be it. But try to contribute.
