dayo23:Superstitious ni**a. |
DrGraveYardz:Kikikikiki ![]() Nothing person nor go hear for this contr3. But the time we spend celebrating one thing or the other, if we would we way ahead in such an endeavour. |
TonyeBarcanista:Abeg tell them. These ex-leaders also seek to continue to bolster their relevance and public profile. I would have expected side meetings with leaders of China, Brazil, Turkey, Indonesia, India and their accompanying business people. To bolster SMEs by those nationals in 9ja. To absorb teeming graduates gradually turning to crime, prostitution, thuggery, cultism and co. But na lie o. Na veteran politicians I dey see. Our people say the clothes that took you to the river, those you wash first. But GMB left Boko Haram discourse and went to pose with white ex-leaders. In the West, ex-leaders have no clout. Not like OBJ submitting ministers list to GMB. ![]() Kpata kpata Bill Gates will offer congrats for near-eradication of polio in 9ja! Those kind of demeaning do-gooder charitable work rich white boys like to discuss with Africans. ![]() |
sukkot:Complete lie about Africans coming from wherever. No DNA evidence. That's 19th century eurocentric theory. The only anthropological and paleontological evidence puts man's origin clearly in Africa. Yes. There were migrations here and there. People have always been in the Niger-Congo basin. Migrations maximum from Sudan and Congo/Zaire area most likely but mixed with aboriginal people. Ptolemy taking over Egypt hardly changed Egypt demographically, just a new elite. The Romans also didn't drive away blacks from the middle East. Even black soldiers were part of Roman occupiers of Britain. Some becoming rich after service to afford elaborate tombstone. With African origin inscribed in them. The theory colonialists used to claim we didn't own the land in the first place is dead. Africans need to think Afresh. |
sukkot:Nigeria has ceded land to Cameroon before. Legally. Much of Anglophone Cameroon was ceded by Eastern Region & Nigerian Govt. After a referendum. Why did OBJ not do that in a democratic govt? So Nigeria should now be pooing in its pants for fear of war with Cameroon? |
Sijo01:It's part of Toyota. |
sukkot:What reasons can he have that we the citizens do not have the right to know in a democracy? Can he cede Owu/Ogun to Benin Republic? His reason was selfish & unpatriotic. He was playing statesman to foreigners to the detriment of Nigerian citizens. |
sukkot:Lol. You know some history but still rather shallow. (1) Since about 70AD when they Jews were scattered from Israel, they hardly owned any land in Palistine. Until 1948. The so-called ceded land belonged to either Palistinians or King of Jordan until the Arab-Israeli wars about 43 to 50 years ago. So they are using land that UN Resolutions 242 of 1967 and 446 of 1979 already state clearly that Israel should leave all occupied territories. So which land are they ceding? The one that doesn't belong to them in first place? (2) Read the history of how Russian Czars occupied Georgia/Caucasus and even tried occupying Finland in the 1930s. (3) You mean the purported ceded land in MW is now part of People's Republic of China? (4). Having lived, studied and worked in France in the past, you can hardly tell me anything about this. Napoleon sold Lousiana, not just N. Orleans. Lousiana territory of then was about 828,000 square miles. Nearly as big as Nigeria! It stretched from N. Orleans to lower part of Alberta & Saskatchewan in Canada! The price was fifty million Francs and a debt of 18 million Francs cancelled too. All worth a total of about 15 million Dollars then. To fund his wars. History is taught thoroughly in France. |
sukkot:True. When you are a green snake and know how to pander to those that control things to the detriment of ordinary citizens, you will be in their good books. E.g Can you expect patriotic leaders in Israel, Russia, US, India, France and so on to cede national territory like OBJ ceded Bakassi? Never. Or expect an Hausa-Fulani to dupe a fellow Northerner like OBJ did Awo in 1979? No way. His so-called relevance has come at a cost to many people. |
Great Men I must say....Buhari taking Nigeria back to it rightful place among the common wealth of nations, not forgetting OBJ who always put Nigeria first in everything. Quote me anywhere
Common wealth ko, common poverty ni. ![]() |
Nigerian Police: the poster child of national failure and corruption. |

Hello |
safarigirl:Happy weekend. We under-estimate the taste of older generations. Dad probably has a more sophisticated taste in women than me. I like them simple, intelligent, educated, well-travelled/read, ambitious, independent, cultured, etc. I don't expect what I cannot offer. My first concept of female beauty was mum plaiting her lovely full, dark long hair. Various nice styles. I'm yet to see any 75k fake hair that accentuates a lady's beauty as mum's natural hair did. I have written many times here on NL that I don't like fake hair. Last time just weeks ago. I'm also not a fan of heavy make-up. But when you say these things, you hear the following: you don't appreciate my efforts, is it because of money you're saying you don't like brazillian hair? Anything a man says now, is used against him. Being dumb is not monopolised by women. But my assertion was in response to your saying many guys are dumb. My dear, even the hardest gold diggers cannot drive me away from any social media I chose to use. Blocking is enough. ![]() Anyhow, there are still like 10 to 15% of ladies who are virtuous, hardworking & principled. All hope is not lost. You only need one good guy or girl to be happy ever after. Thank GOD. ![]() |
misssclassy:You nor fear. What happened to "C.ock Crow At Dawn" or "New Masqurade". Shey nobody wan copy Ovularia or Giringory. ![]() |
baralatie:Abeg follow me ask o. A girl once told me she was a virgin. I nor ask am o. With some pressure, we did it o. But na the regular express way I see dia o. Nothing like virgin. ![]() Anyhow, since I wasn't after a virgin in the first place I didn't really care. If non-virgin was the only matter, no sweat at all. But the supposed virgin had used abortion to ruin her womb much earlier! And that was a girl I wanted to marry. Luckily found out about ruined womb before marriage. That was EOD sharply. The lies and deceit still hurt a bit till today. Even though I have moved on. Because she deliberately deceived me. She was under no pressure to be a virgin. It was meant to prepare the way to deceive about her cause of infertility. Totally evil. Virgin forming is one of the most common lies some girls peddle to obfuscate guys. Never fall for it. |
abe4kom:Nor mind them jor. When GEJ said it, they used bigotry to lambast him. No peace for the wicked. |
Orikinla:If as you're urinating armed robbers should pounce on you guys, then you're suddenly complicit in armed robbery. Too many things just don't add up in 9ja. |
RIP to innocent baby. |
Na wa o People hv no faith in 9ja things o. Born pikin o. Abroad. Oba ill o. Abroad. Hmmmm |
kay29000:It is simply that we now finally have to admit the kidnap epidemic at hand. Before now, it was made a tribal thing with finger pointing and bigotry. It is now basically nationwide and has been for years. Only prominent people we normally hear of. Even drivers and housemaids are now in it. God save us. |
hmmmm |
CR77:Before nko? What do you expect from the All Pinocchio Cacophonists (APC)? ![]() |
UIA04:I disagree. @OP, tell your bestie the truth. If she believes, good. If she doesn't, also good. Depending on her posture/reaction, keep her as a friend or totally avoid her after that. Otherwise, he might drug and rape her sister-in-law or other relatives. If you come out then, you'd be a bad friend. Tell your friend you don't want her her to dump him, but just letting her know the truth. If it was an electronic air ticket, you might still have it in your email. Show her. Assuming it's not all superstory o. ![]() |
safarigirl:Wow. Most girls always wanting money is also guys' fault. Hmmmm We date or dated the girls and we know our experience. You are still talking about barely having money which is still derisive. The girl that constantly wants money has no poverty mentality but the guy who's wary of materialistic girls has poverty mentality. Ok. KONTINEW. Well a guy who barely has money has to invest and build up a comfortable future. A "chop & quench" girl is hardly the ideal companion to achieve that. Our mothers and fathers built their homes together. And most dads are very grateful for it. Over 90% of 9ja female friends on Facebook have asked for money. Usually just out of the blue. Either for fees, new phone, rent. Just name it. Of course I just block the persistent ones off. Let me tell you what a guy can bring to the table. Companionship, friendship, love, moral support etc. But obviously you don't think those have any use. Weird too that girls monetise sex. As though only the guy enjoys it. That for me is prostitution in all but name. Having said that, some of us guys almost immediately decided to marry a girl who proved different. So we're all not talking from a point of despair and frustration. But such girls have become very few my dear, very few indeed. As for dull brain, I don't know where you find them. Luckily I have spent a great deal of my life studying and working with top 1% of smartest people in their society. But I have seen well dressed 9ja women. Graduates, in social occasion who know no foreign language, no idea of great masters of art or classical music, rock music, literature, politics, history, science, medical science, arts. Just about nothing except books of Daddy G.O. So don't even go there about dull brain. I once asked a 9ja girl simple questions in pharmacology and she took offence. A 300L pharmacology student. Later admitting she doesn't know the answer. ![]() |
safarigirl:Lol. Nigeria has a small middle class. Most or 70% have less than 1 dollar a day to live on, so the "in-betweeners" are few. In j9a setting we mostly have the haves and have-nots. Maybe you are not laughing but certainly dismissing guys with a different view here as suffering from poverty. |
GudluckIBB:Then GEJ did well. Despite eternal preparation, no cabinet after 100 days. An irony. |
safarigirl:Safarigirl, The number of rich men in Nigeria is fairly low. Not more than 25%. NLers may not actually be as poor as you may think. Many might be in world top 10% by assets/wealth. No, no one claims to be Dangote. You only need about $67k dollars to be in top 10%. Many here are car dealers, builders, famers, bankers, business people etc. Even a few inherited rusted roof houses here and there can catapult you into top 10. ![]() So not all are talking out of poverty. But addressing a major issue. Be it reality or perception. Because it actually affects how many guys view women. Any woman can be so tagged rightly or wrongly. And laughing at people for being poor kind of affirms that allergy to poor people that this thread partly addresses. Most rich people today were once poor or average. |
[/And ladies, keep searching for "made men" ehn. To one made man, there are 150 interested babes. HE'LL BE A FOOL NOT TO MESS AROUND! After suffering he'll now settle with one woman? RUBBISH! Which one is love? Did you love him when he had nothing? ABEG SHARRAP DER!!!
Well, OP does not get it really. Nobody is against anyone marrying rich. But it should NOT become the over-riding criterion. But as it is now, though many ladies would pretend otherwise, wealth is by far the most important factor for them. A meal ticket/easy way out of poverty. Yes, some may later cheat with a handsome guy at work and even fall in love with him. While married to a rich man. You will hear things like: na love I go chop? Every rich/comfortable guy knows that he's a hot cake to many ladies. Some make full use of that status. ![]() |
DrObum:You know in 9ja, corruption will not make us do the right thing. Why would local government staff not have salary accounts and just wait for alert? Considering the incessant bank robberies in that area, should LG leadership not have known the danger? But ghost workers would be much easier to include if paying cash. Not saying that's exactly what happened but it looks silly to me. Imagine Sallah without money for LG staff now. RIP to the dead. |
Yustash001:You nor well. People used to be trim n slim. Not orobo tibor of nowadays. ![]() |
alphaconde:I wonder o. Korede Bello and others are already doing it. Church wants crowd, and the crowd like Pasuma. So na gain-gain formula. ![]() The church of today is basically secular. The Ogundipe guy is just an honest guy. In 9ja, hypocrisy is too much. ![]() |
