Harbosede02: It's obvious u love her and U've shown it to her too much that shez nw taking it all for granted.... Y nt try the I don't care attitude some time, make her realise ur life doesn't depend on the relationship(even if it does)let her knw u av so many options. That would be OP living a lie. A girl who truly loves him would appreciate his effusive show of love. She doesn't deserve a gentle and loving guy. She might even be the kind of girl who wants to be abused/beaten up. Some girls have admitted that weird stuff to me before. She's has not even replied him for two days. Assuming she's not lying unconscious in some ITU bed, it's the height of disrespect. She might even be camping in the house of one No-Future-Ambition (NFA) guy as we speak. |

laclass: Hypocrisy in the highest order and slaves of the Britain And you still wonder why GMB quickly ran to grandson aged Cameron just after election? The North has always just wanted to control. No general idea of a united, tolerant and diverse nation as Zik and Awo and followers wanted. Sure some individual Northerners differ and are progressive but they are powerless against the avowed position of the North. |

naijak: Each time I witness drama like this on this forum, I fear for the future of this country. When the so-called leaders of tomorrow cannot agree or disagree on a particular issue whether good or bad along same line of thought without splitting so shamefully along tribal and ethnic divides, then one need not be told there is a serious problem. It is so disheartening that no matter how good or how bad anyone may be in this country, you will always most likely find some people backing or opposing him/her base on the cheap and shameful ethnic/tribal yardstick. To find this immoral acts among youthful minds is worrisome. Even if you kill people in broad day light, some people will still rise to your defense; no wonder even BH as inhuman and ungodly as they are has their sympathizers.
It will take God and God alone for Nigeria to achieve anything close to the high hopes some of us hold for it. Nigeria is a mere geographical expression - AwolowoThese are some of the symptoms. It's not a united country. Nothing aside poverty unites the people. Even 90 minutes of football unity is miniscule. |

TonyeBarcanista: All those £13billion was APC propaganda. I maintain that her case has nothing to do with any billion of ££ or $$. Nevertheless, the offence against her is grave and perhaps she might have invested in properties or whatever. It could be some millions of $$ but NEVER £13billion! Where she wan see that money sef? People just bandy billions of pounds about anyhow. She can hardly have over £50million pounds cash. To take all that money through the international banking system is not easy. If you're not a head of state. Even if using fronts/proxies. And maybe another £25 million assets/property. That said, even it's £20k she stole and can be proven, then to jail straight. |

Many of these journalists are very poor in maths? Do they know what 13 billion is? how much does Nigeria earn from petroleum yearly? Does it mean our system is so poor that any amount can grow wings? Where are the CBN and accountant general of the federation? Sure even 1 million is too much to steal. I won't condone any amount stolen. But people have to be a bit realistic. |

You see why Nigeria and Parents need to invest on Education True. But not just education. We need a social welfare system to cater for the poorest & most vulnerable in society. Not just money handouts than can be siphoned. But also help to identify struggling families and assist their kids at the right time. |

HungerBAD: Not surprised.
It's either the UK or Malaysia, that the Name Nigeria is starting to become synonymous with absurd stories.
Some days ago, one in Malaysia wanted to do a 10 Seconds Rape in an Elevator, today one in London gave an *Happy Ending* to a woman who did not request to be happy.
Sadly, this is not their first time. This is the first time, they happened to be caught in Countries, where people are held accountable, for trying to make other people *happy* albeit, forcefully.
I have no pity for Rapists, Policemen, Murderers, Pedophiles and people with a perverted sense of pleasure.
he should have been given 30 Years.
The British are too lenient. Exaggeration here. Do you live in UK or you just follow Western media stuff and get angry? Fact is crime rate in 9ja is far higher than crime rate among Nigerians in UK. What disgraces us is not unique to what some errant Nigerians do abroad. In fact our failure at home contributed to their warped minds. And drove some of those bad eggs abroad. Boko-Haram, all those ritual killings rampant in and around Lagos, armed robberies and other vices in 9ja are well-known. Check US and UK government advice to their citizens on relevant web pages. Western media is extremely keen to embellish any negative news. If this Fabiyi guy just won an Olympic gold for UK, would you hear of his Nigerian origin? No. What you will not hear is how many Nigerian doctors, surgeons, scientists, nurses/midwives and generally hardworking people are raising UK economy. Surely as ambassadors, everyone should imbibe impeccable behaviour. |

Sex crime is quite low among Nigerians in UK. At least compared to local population where paedophiles and others are not rare. |
Culture › Re: Some Nigerian Ethnic Groups And Their Dressing Styles (pictures) by AreaFada2: 9:03pm On Oct 03, 2015 |
fratermathy: I wrote in my post that Urhobo/Isoko are from Edo. That said, it should be noted that Edo and Urhobo are not mutually intelligible despite the seeming similarities. Both tribes are not too culturally compatible. For instance, some taboos in Benin are not taboos in Urhobo land and vice versa. Urhobos are Edoid, that is correct but they are not a dialect of Edo so that Okun-Yoruba analogy doesn't hold waters. If at all, it is more like the Yoruba-Itsekiri or Yoruba-Igala analogy that will suffice in this instance. Actually, both are among the about two dozens Edoid languages. Consult a decent philology textbook, pay attention to Niger-Congo languages. See Edoid languages. Along with Okpe, Uvbie, Eruwa, they are the "South Western" Edo languages. Benin (not Bini as wrongly written widely), Esan, Ora are North-Central Edo langusges. Nothing to do with senatorial zones. Many Urhobo words are what they were in Benin area about 600 to 500 years ago. While some of the words have evolved/changed in Benin, many elderly people in Benin still use those words. |
