YoungBuffet: Guy if truly u changed moniker has someone rightly said, u don't need it pass your message this is SM the worst they will do is to insult you. Market is going back to pre-euphoria level first then tank later. Many will average down wella and all their motivational speakers saying they should buy the future of company will go hibernating. Just be watching. Those who are in uba now still thought it would go to 25 but at their naked eyes it will go back to 8 naira first before tanking further. Though I don't know who you were referring to but this is not Oracle! |

locodemy: This sounds like oracle but prophetutuocha always appear in a while for some years now. Maybe oracle's second handle. One thing with oracle is his bull never come, when you think the bull he predicted has come, he will tell you bear is coming and before you know it, it will come to reality.
I totally rely on this present Govt for things to change but removing fuel subsidy at this early stage is causing katakata in this market that has consolidated heavily for a rally.
All things being equal, If the market close neutral today, there is hope next week. Loco, this is not Oracle, he doesn't have time for this forum for now. We communicates almost everyday. He doesn't needs to change moniker to prove a point. |

Hamachi: Fearful investors will forever miss out on great opportunities and are often full of regret
Me: Stock market is down, this is a good time to start investing
Them: Phew! The way everything is red now, I don’t want to lose my money. It’s better to keep looking at my money in my bank account.
Stock market recovers*
Them: wow! I should have bought when the market was down. Well, it is now too expensive, I will wait till it’s down again.
And the cycle of fear and missed opportunities continue.
There are opportunities every time, learn to find them and seize them.
Do you need someone to guide you through your investment journey without the paralyzing fear and uncertainty you are currently experiencing? U don't just invest anyhow cos stock market is down or there is bull currently on NSE. There are other parameters that should be in place like crude oil price, currently Crude is loosing and may possibly get $35 according to my TA guru and if such happened US stock will tank more NSE stocks will tank more. Globally, there are uncertainties so watch out for other parameters before you buy stock. |

sgtponzihater1: Not sure I fully understand your question, so forgive me if my answer is off .
My advice is for people to key into the high interest rates the MMF affords now, instead of keeping idle cash in a savings or easy access accounts. It's free money and no harm done enjoying the pie while it lasts. In the next few weeks to years when the interest rate may drop, you can capture more funds into stock and bond based asset classes.
This time affords the chance for those not so educated about investing especially about the stock market gain relevant knowledge, while still earning good interest from MMF.
PonziHater With my experience in stock market, is better to be fearful while others are greedy 2006/2007 comes to mind. Market would be bullish for a while then tank is only foreign investors that can sustain the upward movement for a while cos of purchasing power. |

sgtponzihater1: This is the best time to key into money market fund. Years back MMF was a big deal in advanced countries as it provided high profit with low risk. Today MMF in advanced countries have dropped interest rates to as low as 2% or less. Those who were waiting for the rates to increase have suffered loss in their asset from inflation.
If Nigeria gets things right, the trend would be for our MMF interest rates to drop, meaning getting more education in managing your funds from the volatility of the proper stock market or being at the mercy of financial advisers, many who's major objective is to get a share of your money.
What I do personally is invest in MMF with about quarter of my disposable fund, which I hope to beef up and invest the others heavily in the stock market, as that where the real possibilities lies.
Kindly use my link if you consider using Stanbic asset management. I consider among the very best for the past decade. Thanks to those who have used my referral link in the past.
We must all be rich!
Chiefsgtponzihater1 If MMF rates drop then what is one doing wt mmf then? |

yok: MARKET TECHNICAL ANALYSIS-WHAT IS OUR MAIN OPINON ON THE MARKET TODAY 26 MAY 2023 Globally things are bad on the surface, but fundamentals still supporting a bullish expectation (dollar and bond indexes falling). So participants just need to wait for the bear to get tired. Commodities are up and indices down but may improve later. So pullback may happen today, but just pure profit taking.
For Nigeria market see below. As at today? Meanwhile, Germany has entered recession! |

PETERiCHY: 3ys ago Oracle bought Guinness @#24 and said its heading to moon. He advised me to buy.
Later i agreed and started buying from #20 and average down to #13 which brought my break even price to #15.30
By and large after waiting for many months Guinness finally reserved @ sub #13.
Surprisingly when it rose back to #15 Same Oracle alerted me that he has sold and cut his losses. his next prediction was that Guinness is heading to sub #10...
I said God forbid bad thing and held my kaya tight and alighted @#25 the rest is history
Some of us have being in this business for over 2 decades and still counting. So don't take everything you see here hook, line and sinker.
After all one day we will all pass away and our offsprings will continue from where we stop. I rest my case.
*ThE OcToPuS* Take whatever suits you and leave the rest. My regrets is I locked up my funds on NSE when the stock he told me did about 300% same time I bought on NSE even wt quarterly dividends. A lady I told about the stock still told me he regretted not buying the stocks. If i had invested all my money in that stock by now na to dey praise God everyday. If Oracle tells you something on your own do your own personal findings he is human u can do your own findings too all the US stocks he told me did same as predicted I will mention one here Tilray was selling for around 12-16$ when he told me it will fall to $2 as I type now is doing 1.87 and another thing he will always tell me not to chase price he has never advice me to buy at higher prices. Still regretted I put my funds majorly on NSE if I had put all in that stock the money I will get from the sales can build generational wealth on NSE. But hope still dey. Watching the stock very well let global whalala start I enter the stock 100% I hope I can get it lower again. Another fear again was if after selling will they allow me get all my money out of US system and this have confirmed my money will be out irrespective of amount. So my final take if Oracle tell u something is not by force to listen to him. |

Lion123: I'm up 10% on my Access shares which i bought last week, but Rabbi is putting fear in my heart, and I'm seriously considering selling. Oga no mind my Rabbi Joor hold it is going to N35. Oracle has said his own pls don't follow him follow your mind. But one thing is certain he told me of 3 US stocks one was selling for $12 and he said is coming down to $2 as I type is selling for $2.7, another one he said it will get to $0.50 when it was selling for around $8 the stock hit $0.50 and back to $3 he told me to buy another one I bought at 1.70 that it will move the stock got to $4 wit quarterly dividend received. So I respect his view alot. Am warming up for the US stock he has given me the entry price and once it got to that level I go into that stock fully. Just follow your mind as your stocks can do N35 naira in a short time. |

My average price for the stock is N17, less than N20.
Unilever @ N11, Lafarge @ N9, Nigeria Brewery @ N25, could not remember the price of Nestle, those were the stocks that saved me from the brutal bear market of 2006 to 2008 that crashed most of the the banking, insurance and other penny stocks. This same stock bought for someone at #15 |

Streetinvestor2: Nice one my oga.You want to tell me that when I made investment in oceanic bank and Dunlop the business and financial fundamental whr shaky. And the likes of fbn ,oando etc we bought high many moons ago which prices have nose dived too.I guess thr fundamentals too whr shaky when we bought The ones you are buying now.How do you know the financial fundamentals are perfect since you are not the one preparing thr financial results. The last time I checked, it is still the old external auditors we know around, regulatory bodies and Nigerian that are the ceo of this trusted company. We all work with figures and information they pass on then and now still .The problem to me, is failed economy policy and corruption that stinks to the heavens On another note how is your wapco doing because I remember you mentioning going for loan to buy then and the price was then above #28 After consolidation under Pro. Soludo the man I like so much, I was thinking all was very perfect and well and Soludo too was assuring everyone that no problem with the banking industry. I was buying intercontinental, I was buying oceanic I was buy bank PHB. The rest is now history. I was buying Oando was seriously mopping until they were bringing out right offer now and then and to me that was a red signal after the right settled in my cscs account I sold all and thank God I did uacn I bought for #54 in those days where is UACN today? Performance of today doesn't guarantee that of future especially in Nigeria. Cadbury of #64 naira where is it today? Unless those manage by white CEO like Nestle and that is the only stock I ever regretted I didn't buy when a family brought it to me via someone close then to buy at #100 when their father died and they needed money. |

Ades1: You don’t sound like you’re anti stock market, you’re just anti Nigerian stock market which is fine tbh.
You’re not disputing the facts being presented(such as fundamentals, profits), you’re just anti NAIJA market regardless of how much profits these companies are making.
The funniest thing was when someone asked when you’ll know when foreigners are in the market. Your response cracked me up.
The people you’re arguing with have been in the market for long, they have been through many cycles of foreigners coming and going and they’re still here.
It’s fine if you're waiting for the daily 10% up before investing, some of us got in early and we are ok with however long it takes. We will be collecting nice dividends while we are waiting. Guy wether it cracked you up or not is none of my business, have communicated the message and I was not even discussing anything with u in the first place |

If they carry out their own diligence, invest and their portfolios turn red, that’s their business.
So relax bro. Guy I think everyone is entitled to his/her own opinions. No matter how u see it or view it, those that comes to me on stocks I tell them my perception about any stock and will never tell anyone what is not obtainable. There are some newbies that depends on whatever one tell them they don't bother. I have them and infact one gave me is log in he doesn't have time he will just fund the account and tell me to buy whatever I think is ok and sometimes I tell him I won't buy anything if am not comfortable. In my formative years on NSE brokers were telling me to buy stocks and I was buying since there bulls occasioned by FPIs and I was buying till I bought dead stocks. |

Is it based on the earnings?
Based on the dividends?
Based on the growth?
Based on the return on invested capital?
Based on the return on equity?
Doubt if there is any banking stock that is currently high, for a medium to long term investor, but might be currently high for a jijoist So what u are telling your newbies is that they should keep buying at any price since you are certain the will hit the roof? You think our NSE operate in isolation? What of if we have global serious bank collapse and we have contagious effects u think those banks price can't tank? Dey play! |
