We don't need to overflog this, those wey sabi have been accumulating quietly, we shall compare notes at the end of the year and 12 months time by God's grace
Anyhow, my point is we should not mislead newbies to buy stocks high based on our projection. Nothing is certain!

How do you know when they come?
When u see 10% rise almost everyday then u know they are around and they do it across board of all perceived good stocks by them. They clear at any price since the purchasing power is super.

The market capitalization was N600 billion when Obasanjo came on board and grew to N10 Trillion at the end of his tenure.

The height of it all was when the All Share Index got to 66,000 sometimes in 2006
Always complete this info, it was when FPIs came in and were bidding anything on NSE Peter ololo all got margin loans to help bid all both dead and living stocks on NSE and when the Asian tiger left what was the outcome? We lost part of our investment, and still holding some dead stock up till now. Under okere as DG of nse then no control every dick and Harry doing as they like manipulating prices anyhow. So how will u say that was fair under obj? When Asian tiger left market crashed as many people lost their lives some were strocked till date I know of someone who put 40m In market then today the value doesn't worth 1m with dead stocks and those bought at outrageous prices

I said 2 years time, there is a high possibility of achieving this before then
Nothing is high here unless FPIs some in. They are the eight wonders of the world when it comes to emerging markets stocks bidding.

I no sabi technical analysis ooooo.

But I know that our stocks are ridiculously cheap.

I am a bit lucky with my instincts but I always try to underestimate my forecast to give room for errors, the 4 years is a worst case scenario , we should get their in 18 months
Yes they are cheap but still can't fly more than the purchasing power of whoever entity that are buying for now they can't keep buying to sustain the bull u are anticipating unless $1000/740k guys comes in and that is the fact. If u are aware of what is happening globally u will know that no FPIs are coming for now cos they are even predicting global crash by q3 2023 this is what I have to go and do findings on my own when Oracle said we should expect lower lows, I don't discard I do my personal findings too. Until then fingers cross. Newbies again beware of October rush.

Don't be surprised if GTB gets to N55 in the next 2 years.

Anyone among Obi, Atiku or Tinubu is for the market.

Yar Adua was bad for the market, same with the current government.

This is the time to position into fundamentally sound stocks
It has done 55 before nothing is impossible and this was the time FPIs were around. Don't give price target wtout condition so newbies will not be buying high hopping in a short distance time it will get to 55 it happened 2016-17 when FPIs we're around. For the newbies don't buy any stock high ooo before wonders will happen finally FPIs has to be around.

I think they are to do the SETUP with temporary password and send you the details. Then you will change the password and also set your security question and answer incase you may want to do online redemption/withrawal later.

If your account is set and you have gotten the number, you can contact them for the web/app login details.
Thanks so much

Yes there is. It's one Stanbic IBTC App Housing all their product. You just open the app, choose mutual fund and login if you are already an investor or create instant account if you are a new user.
Thanks. They opened the account for me in their PH office but how do I access it on the app

Don't mind them just SVB collapsed the other day our NSE felt the heat stylishly that week even uba did 7.85 zenith did 23 from 27 despite dividend expectations.

We witnessed the price of GTB move from 22.75 (May 2, 2023) post-markdown to around 27 today (within 3 weeks) yet some people are still predicting doom and gloom on NSE this year.

Better join the moving train now because soon some people will start asking if GTB is a good buy at 32
But anything can happen, it Doesn't cost anything for it to come down to #20. If there is financial crisis globally this week don't be surprised to see it at #15 by Friday. So it is possible don't write off what they say. For your eyes like this it possible to happen. Oracle warned in 2020 that something was coming we never knew what it would be but covid came and created lower lows.

What they are trying to tell you is that the 100M you wish to make annually in few years time may not be able to do more than what 10M can do now, due to inflation.

It is like going to make about 200k monthly in 2013; it will be above $1k and you will be able to meet up with the basic needs but if you make same 200k monthly today, you cannot do much.

On your statement of spending naira since you are in Nigeria, until we start producing the bulk of what we use here in Nigeria, the dollar will determine our standard of living. Are you not going to need a car, basic amenities and probably send your kids abroad for Masters, vacation etc. It is at that point that you will understand that the 100M in naira does not have the anticipated value anymore
Still depends on your strategy I can still be increasing my dividend yearly to meet up and I can still relocate my family abroad so they start their life there so I don't think of sending anyone to school in the long run. All depends on individual strategy as inflation bites, one think of making more money to counter the effects

I advise you work towards doing this in USD. Planning a retirement using Naira investments is uber risky
I hear alot of people saying $ $ stuff retirement, if am in Nigeria and am spending naira and not $ 100m dividend is ok for me no matter the naira devaluation all I need to do is to see how I can increase such dividend which doesn't even require I work to do that is just a mental stuff

Just thinking and cracking my brain on how to achieve 100 million annual dividend in the next 8 years so I can retire from daily hustling.
U need to invest around 500-700m naira, is doable with good strategy. If u are outside the country and you work very hard this is doable as naira devaluation will reward your hard work and your purchase stock power would be greatly increased. If you are in Nigeria and your income can't give you 700m in the next 8yrs is a big task ooo. A guy saved 100k Canadian $ for 2+ yrs which is around 55m if your annual income is 7-10m can u save 55m in 2yrs+ but your mission is more achieve able if u are outside the country and work hard u will surely get that 100m yearly dividend. Another strategy is if u have huge money from 10-50m and you are actively trading on nse may u buy low then sell u don't wait for dividend and you compound the money like that it will give u around 800m to 1b in the next 10-12yrs. Have done the calculations before using zenith Bank and uba as a case study cos the duo stocks have better movement to achieve it then at the end of the 10th or 12yrs u finally settle for a particular stock for your 100m dividend. Have done this on an excell sheet. Note waiting for dividend u cant actualize this for but get capital appreciation move out then enter after mark down

With the current level of volumes being traded, I doubt if the market would obey the "sell in May" adage.
Lolllll. Can u see that tempo has reduced in the banking sector? The giration was cause by the big boys and influx of dividend hot money. U just dey enter NSE ? Anything is possible on our nse. Uba that was selling at 8.70 this morning currently selling @ 8.30. big boys are done with their things

Is this how traders think and make so much money. I sell uba at 8.90 and buy back 7.85. So I will waste my time chasing 1.05..Oga nse to many na side hustle at this age. Each time is see the price of nem I sold for #1.00 after keeping it for years when nosa was championing iit in smn .That made me to see trading as waste of time if you buy fundamental sound stock. I had nem in great afolabi unit then. Then you pray buhari/apc government to never happen as you hold the shares, lol
Lolllll oga still depends on volume, 1.09 is a huge difference if nice volume is involved.

Wooooowwwww
Lolllllllll I know someone here that has more than that in zenith bought at 9-10 still traded with it and made MAD money more than those holding. Another guy here sold at 26/27 still bought lower and also qualify for dividend. If I had sold my UBA then at 8.90 then buy back at 7.85 would have given me additional units of around 300k and will still qualify for dividend. Anyway, trading and holding the most important thing is to make money but one will make than the other

Cash is king. The dividend cycle will almost be over by June. The companies with good fundamental are at thr bus stop. They are now dancing side ways. You should be expecting them to start tanking soon. The economy is finished and no foreign investors coming anytime soon.
Nevertheless we still participate in companies sharing corruption because the corruption must go round. Look at the companies making north .It is companies the wolves have shown interest to defend thr holdings.
The market is going to tank big time
There will likely be inauguration rally after which it will tank
