And the tribalists were still put to shame. You call yourselves Nigerians but hope for us to fail, You fast and pray to pin our coffin with its matching nail. But even with your schadenfreude we throw this line to you: "The lord we serve has silenced you, and this you know is true" |

emmke:LMAOOO! You're clearly a local Idoma village dunce, so your ignorance-induced stupidity is pardonable. Have I not visited this Benue for my youth service? Mr man, don't use the anonymity of the internet to come lie about your dying state, cuz there might just be someone lurking in the corner to take you to the cleaners. Tell me, is Ogboko not a glorified onion village? What do you have? And which of your men feed better than Igbos? Which of your men even have jobs besides picking pockets? Are Igbos not the ones still in charge of the high paying jobs there? My cousin owns a large boutique right at the heart of Ogboko, and the only thing the men around there are good at, is breaking into the shop in the dark of the night, to cart away with panties and lingerie! FACT! So, don't even come here to lie about things, e hear? and whenever they are going home, mehn come see how them they pack food, lol. Nothing them no they pack i swear.Exactly! You've even helped confirm my points that the Igbos there ain't suffering. Now tell me, would they be packing things if they couldn't afford it? The typical Igbo man lifestyle is to enjoy life to the fullest, while hustling as the days go by. Now, tell me, how many Benue people do you even see working in other states? Oh, my guess exactly - Zero, since they're useless to the society and themselves |

South.East: LOOOOL! I remember when Eko-Ile the genetic garbage and his gang of autistic bottom-feeders came parading some heavily useless list of states based on federal allocation, as some cheap form of claiming some juvenile superiority. Omo, I laughed like maaad that day! because anyone who can rightfully claim to have taken his Junior WAEC exams would know that such lists are meaningless when it comes to really determining the financial state of an administrative region. How can one present a list on federal allocation without even factoring in the population and financial cohesion in the respective states? Some people are really dense sha. |

Please, OAM4J, could you help me ask the Admin or his supermod to change my name? Logging in with this username has become increasingly difficult, as I keep forgetting it. You see, during my registration, I was kinda trying out random names (hoping to be lucky enough to land myself in a handle that wasn't already taken), but unfortunately, I was registered in a handle I didn't really like (or give that much forethought). So, on that note, I would really appreciate it if he (or his assistants with the power) changed my screen name from "Areosapien" to Atẽn - yes, with the cool ẽ Please, pleeease, pleeeeeeeze. Politics / Re: Which State Is Least Known In Nigeria? Jigawa? by Areosapien(f): 7:33pm On Oct 09, 2011 |
aloy/emeka: Oh, I vehemently disagree on that note, sir. Equating low media coverage with low crime rate is borderline fallacious, actually. I believe the reason the crime in those states aren't getting as much attention as Ekiti, is based on the simple and obvious fact that there is an existence of spine-shattering illiteracy in those Northern states. This makes it near impossible for the heavily uneducated citizens in that region to even know what they should rightfully expect from their government. So, when their governors are busy lining up their pockets with looted cash, the citizens don't complain to the media or open up to the world, but rather carry on wrestling with their emaciated cows. |

I'd say a vast amount of states in the North are not well known. Yobe Gombe Kebbi Nassarawa Jigawa In Central Nigeria, they're Taraba and Kogi In the South, it's Ebonyi. For me though, I'd say Kebbi is the most inconsequential of them all. |

toba: The poster isn't talking about double posting per se. What he means is the weird double commenting in a single post. The case whereby a poster repeats himself in a single post. 'Digital Deja-vu', if you may. Here's an example: "Hey guys, Barcelona won? Nice! I'm so glad we've managed to maintain such a cohesive force. And Fabregas has been wonderful since his move. Hey guys, Barcelona won? Nice! I'm so glad we've managed to maintain such a cohesive force. And Fabregas has been wonderful since his move." All this is written in one post. |

Celebrities / Wizkid Impregnates Undergraduate, Gets Baby Girl. by Areosapien(f): 12:51am On Aug 23, 2011 |
EME Popstar Wizkid has fathered his first child at 21, Nigerian Entertainment Today (NET) can confirm. The beloved hit-maker and ladies man has been linked to many women – most times older than he is – and pundits had feared he could be heading the way of misdemeanour if care was not taken. Now, as our investigations reveal, the young man impregnated an undergraduate named Sola several months ago, and the lady has since put to bed. Before delivering a baby girl for Wizkid two months ago, we’re told Sola who resides in Magodo, Lagos was studying in the University of Legon, Accra, Ghana. This is not something his close friends and associates would want to reveal for now. And we’re told his parents and mentors insist they’ll wait until a DNA confirmation, before fully admitting the child is Wizkid’s. At least two colleagues confirm to us, that the debutant allegedly fathered a child in June. Multiple sources who are familiar with the ‘baby mama’ and her family also tell us ‘it was widely known to us all when they were dating. And we knew when she got pregnant for him’. Wizkid has been rumoured to date daring actress Tonto Dike even though they both continue to deny this. We confirmed from reliable sources back then, that Wizkid’s Honda Accord that was jacked by robbers, was a gift from Dike. In an elaborate chat with a Nigerian Entertainment Today editor, Wizkid denies having a child. ‘No, I don’t. It’s just a rumour, I’m not thinking about that right now’. In the interview held last week at Ogudu-GRA, in Lagos and published in this week’s edition of Nigerian Entertainment Today Newspaper, he continues, ‘ I really don’t want to find myself in that kind of situation, I’m all about my music now‘. But our sources, who want to remain anonymous, insist Wizkid has fathered his first child, Will Wizkid, whose real names are Ayo Balogun, follow in the footsteps of 2face Idibia (five kids from three women), JJC (three kids from three women), 9ice (three kids from two women, one of whom is still legally married to him), and the likes of Father U Turn, KWAM 1, KSA, and many other musicians who have children from multiple relationships? Or will he settle with his baby’s mother and make a home? Interestingly, Wizkid’s leader Banky W, himself a bonafide ladies’ man and fun-lover, remains scandal-free; managing to stay away from controversies and making sure he doesn’t toe the line of illegitimacy. Last Friday, the singer tweeted from his official Twitter handle (@wizkidayo) ‘Hey All, Got sumthin to tell yall. In life, there are those times when you wonder about the wrong decisions you’ve made… This is one of those times for me. I realize that I haven’t always lived up to everyone’s expectations from my loved ones to the immense love from my fans. I am sorry. Please continue to pray for me. With the help of my family and my EME big brothers, I am working on becoming a better man, a better artiste, a more responsible person with every one of my actions.‘ thenetng.com/2011/08/22/exclusive-wizkid-impregnates-undergraduate-gets-baby-girl/ e. Celebrities / Rihanna And Chris Brown Are Now Following Each Other On Twitter (riri's Fans Pissed!) by Areosapien(f): 9:49pm On May 14, 2011 |
Hell! I can't believe no-one on NairaLand has reported this yet! Twittersphere witnessed a new rise in fiery rage from Rihanna's faithful stans, and this began today, when Rihanna finally decided to follow her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, the guy who, as we remember was on probation for battering the singer. A couple of minutes after she connected with him, Chris decided to do the same by adding her to his list too, sending her fans in fits of shock and rage, as they saw this as a sign that the two could possibly be working on getting back together again. Some others even began to attack her, saying she was setting a bad example for her teenage fans, as it justified getting back an abusive lover. Feeling boxed in a corner, RiRi had to shut a couple of them up. Rihanna's twitter address is twitter.com/rihanna, while Brown's is twitter.com/chrisbrown LOL! Check it out yourself. bk.babe97y: Awwwww! Sorry, but you're gonna have to try a lot better than that, my dear man-child. But you know what I live by? I live by the wise and simple principle that, an insult is only effective when the person spewing the insult is actually of any relevance or importance to the society. You see, that's why I'm not bothered by your tepid and pedestrian bellows - because I looked at the so-called trash talker (you), and it turned out he's just another common underachieving, low-life, bottom-feeding dumb nigger and social peon, who terribly failed to make an impact in his hollow life, and has thus been consigned to the ignominy of becoming yet another worthless liability in life. So you see, brovah, as much as I may have a lot of things I devote useful attention to, meaningless cries of a dejected juvenile ain't one of them hehehe, too bad. Now, as I was saying - I sure did enjoy the way you got exposed and torn to pieces by Rhymz. Mehn, Bwaahahahaha!!! Now, that's what I call spine-crushing humiliation! |
Politics / Re: Refuse Take Over Aba by Areosapien(f): 1:35am On May 13, 2011 |
Hahahaha! Rhymz is the man!! Didn't know this BK-Babe dunce had no Nigerian link to him. And to think some dumbass tribalists of SW inclination (like Bluetooth) were actually supporting the toad, thinking he was helping them fight their battles, not knowing he was indirectly insulting the entire country as a result of his own shattered and failed life of abject misery and emotional hopelessness. I'm glad his true life of failure has now been exposed for us all to see. |

Politics / Re: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by Areosapien(f): 8:10pm On May 07, 2011 |
Wow! You know, now that I've come to look at things, I think it was a good thing I actually opened this thread over a week before this day. And the fact that the title still ended up being the eventual turnout is pure evidence to the saying, "Destiny may be delayed, but eventually WILL come to pass; whether you like it or not." My last on this thread was somewhere around Page 10 or thereabout, and I'm still blown away as to how things have ballooned (sic) since then. This, if you don't know, is a clear sign that, no matter how far away from the state they are, there are tons of non-indigenes who still wish us well in this country. Because, at the end of the day, we're all brothers and sisters in this great country; and everybody's business - as long as he or she is Nigerian - is OUR business, and every decision eventually WILL affect us all in the long run. Let see this experience as a sign that we should all respect and appreciate each other, irrespective of tribe and/or homestate. I'd like to show appreciation to you all. Indeed, Ohakim was a man who had the chance to impact on the hearts of his people; but chose to throw it all away to favor his insatiable greed. And now as I look on in pride as the angry children burn and destroy what's left of his misleading and worthless posters, while at the same time proudly stomping the rotting carcass of what used to be his reputation. . . I wear a subtle smile in my face, for I am finally reassured there is hope for us all. . . after all. Thank you all. |

Politics / Re: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by Areosapien(f): 3:08am On Apr 28, 2011 |
cgem: To be honest with you, in a thuggery-free election, Rochas would thoroughly dust Ohakim. But the Sunnewsonline says Rochas leads in 12 places while Ohakim leads in 10. And to tell you the truth, I don't even know how Ohakim got up to that 10 - so obviously there's some serious rigging going on. So, winning this thing isn't just about being loved by the people; it's also about being able to match the fraudulent rigging with your own brand of rigging. So, at the end of it all, I'd still say NO - I don't think Ohakim will win. |

cgem: The only thing we know about her is that she's Catholic; and that's about the only reason he chose her after ordering his former deputy (an Anglican) to resign. Many believe he did this as a desperate attempt to get himself into the Catholic good books after he brutalized the reverend father. |
