Actually Foday Sankoh (was a corporal in the SLA and also worked for SLBS, he was a critic of the govt, he got sacked and was jailed for a while) , when he was released he and two others went on to Libya where they started planning their own revolution, when they came back they formed RUF, they targeted the poor, filled their heads with dreams of wealth sharing, drugged the boys and so on.

RUF wanted to rule, they didnt want to rid Freetown of any foreign invasion, they wanted full control of the country's natural resources,Sankoh told his supporters he wanted to share the country's wealth amongst its people. Prior to the full scale war, the country had series of coup plots, the final and most deadly war, was a counter coup, January 6 1999, Captain Gborie took over and an hour or so after Johhny Paul took over, he invited the RUF,(Sankoh was not around he was arrested somewhere,Gen Mosquito was in charge and some other 15 year old) released all the hardened criminals and they started their own troubles. People were killed, i didnt watch the video up there, i have seen enough to last me a life time, friends, relatives, neighbours got killed, mothers were forced to be violated by their sons, fathers violated their daughters, pregnant woman had their bellies cut into, babies were amputated, people drink hot oil, wash your hands in hot oil, burnt alive, kids were taken, both boys and girls , boys to be injected to be fighters, girls to be their wives/cooks. So many wicked stuff, the old young heck every living being even if you were sick you would be forced to join them in their routine " we want peace dance". Nasty set of people who maimed, killed and hurt lots of people in very very wicked ways

You are merely seeking for attention and I won't be the one to bring you out of your caves. NL has given your likes jobless scammers the opportunity to troll the walls of internet space. I bet you, you are not above the people I feed on daily basis.

The number of times you have mentioned WAEC showed that you are still in secondary school. I pity the parents that gave birth to you because as I write this piece they must have given up on you as wasted child who has kept bringing bad name to your poor family. I have dedicated to help you jobless fool but you seems to be an . This is my last response and recognition to a monster like you. Goodbye owerri LovePeddler

Yessss! cool grin And unknown to you, you've only fallen into my trap of exposing you for the semi-literate gutter-sucking swine of a bigot you are; because it is only a glorified underachieving illiterate of your ilk that would be shockingly stuupid enough to harbor hatred for your fellow Igbos, badly enough to judge them along State lines. I mean, have you no shame?
As for your dull swipe about offering me a job, naaaah! I think I should be the one advising you to go pick up a job so as not to rot away in abject poverty like you're destined to. It is, however, unfortunate that your options will be extremely limited, as no-one would want to hire an all-round dunce like you; so you might want to settle into the role of a road-side vulcanizer, as that is the only job you're suited for.
And if you're still questioning my assertion on the fact that nothing more than a WAEC-level student, well, that's no fault of mine, as this fact is deep-rooted in your pathetically juvenile posts which expose you to be nothing more than a bloated overgrown slob with the IQ of a prepubescent child.
So, yes, your stupiidity is your birthright. Nothing more, nothing less

Politics / Re: First Lady Has Done It Again! by Areosapien(f): 4:15pm On Nov 21, 2011
Pukkah:

Well, you may have a point in coming up with the First Lady's errors especially against the backdrop that the way she presents herself to the world, through verbal and non-verbal communication, should matter to all of us.  Afterall, she is the wife of our President.

However, you also need to take some time to fix your English troubles some of which I have highlighted below:

You used 'worst' instead of 'worse'.  Also, who's 'crying' here?

You should have written 'Recently, she said on STV that Nigeria is our continent'.  You ought to have made up your mind if you wanted to use 'recently', which should have a comma after it, or 'two months ago'.  In essence, you need to bring your 'syntax' under control.

Also, it is 'suicide' and not 'sucide'.

It is 'grammar' and not 'grammer'.

Need I say that you should remember to put a full stop at the end of each sentence?

Phew! Can you see how difficult it is to string correct sentences together even for someone like you who has presumably gone through an intensive grammar class?

Please be guided accordingly.

LMFAO!!! Owned! grin grin grin grin grin grin

Cool! Going back to my history books, shebi na Beroms follow participate for the killing of Igbos that led to the Civil War? Sorry, but right now, I'm tempted to sing Poetic Justice at the top of my lungs. grin grin
When you aid a ravaging tiger in its bloodthirsty killings, there shall come a time when the tiger will turn on you kiss
So, with this, I hope more helpless Berom women and children are hacked to pieces everyday, and may their farmlands be eternally poisoned with the crimson-red blood of their fathers' sins.

YEEEEEE-HAWWWWW! grin cool

@Areosapien, Your problem is idleness, whenever your ready I will make an opening for you to do your Industry Training in my office. How can you call up innocent members of NL and say that their IDs belongs to me. Whenever you are ready for help I will give you personally my contacts @ Udoka Estates, Awka. I assure you of good remuneration for you recover from your broken life.

LMAO! Your 'office'? Yeah, by 'office', I'm sure you're refering to your mom's cold, murky basement, where you sit your bony asss in front of Nairaland to strike the keyboard with your leprous fingers.
I bet you didn't see it coming that I'd expose you and your shameless IDs, you hopeless idle wretch.
And how can you be lying about having a job at Udoka when you can't even pass WAEC? Who do you think you're fooling?

So I'll give you one last warning, my hopelessly dull 'tribesman' - If you don't want your arse getting exposed on the internet again, then you best learn how to clean up on your act.

Smell you later, alligator.

Dude, listen to yourself !!! Has
pathetic bigotry and animalistic
feudalism turned you to this?
How is Achebe more
representative ( ahead of the
likes of Martin Luther King,
Mandela, Biko ,Nkrumah,
Obama, Marcus Garvey, Bob
Marley, Haile Selassie,
Mohammed Alli, Michael
Jackson, Jesse Owen- the man
who embarrased Hitler- and
many others) as the "only
positive symbol of the black
race"? You are at the top level
of ethnic bigotry i.e the level
where folks lie to themselves and
use nonsensical logic and fantasy
to justify innate inferiority
complex and ethnically
motivated hatred of others.
Achebe and Soyinka are only
literary giants. Many black folks ,
with global influence, will be
viewed as far more "positive
symbols" ahead of those two.
I bow for the type of ethnic
bigotry jam inferiority complex
that would make the black race ,
and all its noble folks through
history, inferior in comparison to
a single Nigerian writer for you.
As a Yoruba man, Soyinka is not
even in the list of the 20 black
folks I admire most let alone
view him as the "only positive
symbol of black race" !!! What a
ridiculous statement. Shame on
you !!!!

You are actually wasting your time with that damn nutcase? You need to see the amount of bile and raging fiery hate that moroonic imbeciile harbors for EVEN IGBOS of Imo and Abia, to really understand the amount of pointless blind stupiiidity that has engulfed his wretched mind. His case is far beyond mere cyber-tribalism-for-laughs. His is REAL psychotic bitterness!

Oh, and before I forget, his other numerous screennames include Ohaneze1 and Igbo Amaka, so watch out for that priiick whenever he tries to masquerade himself in different scrotal sacks.

You are hurting inside. I know it, Beaf knows it damn too well, KOboJ just got a taste of it, Kilode? got a glimpse of it a couple weeks ago, SEFAGO knows it too, DK, AIgbofa, Seun Osewa, Aregbesola, Bola Ige, Bola Tinubu and everyone on NL and Nigeria know how deeply hurt you are.

You can tell a person suffers from a deep sense of social rejection and depressingly cheap self-worth, whenever he desperately (and shamelessly) begins to string people's names into his comments because he's run out of things to say to a vastly superior adversary. grin

Guys, I understand it's now become fashionable to blame Jonathan for every single thing that isn't going right in the Solar System, but what's the meaning of this? Please, try to be objective here. This one isn't his fault, but the body itself. If he felt like bestowing an award on this person, and discussed this with the body in charge of it, don't you think the burden is on the members of the board to check their past records and notify the president on this?
These days, we're all looking for excuses to blame and heap insults on the man.
This isn't even funny anymore biko. You're all boring me now.

Politics / Re: Algeria Confirms Boko Haram’s Ties To Al Qaeda by Areosapien(f): 5:26pm On Nov 15, 2011
What will happen? What will the majority southern spineless beings do to em? We could not even fight the scourge of MEND . . . had to bribe them to make them play nice. Abeg stop bragging about NOTHING AS USUAL -- typical Nigerian ALL MOUTH BUT NO ACTION moves. . . .We all know this is the reality even in the south.

The FG couldn't fight MEND, because guilty conscience no go gree them. They sabi say na dem dey at fault. Tell me how else our Niger-Delta brothers could've made their voices loud enough to our ignorant, greedy and deaf FG?
They came to their lands all in the name of oil mining. Ngwanu, if na to even drill and steal all the oil, no wahala. But can you justify polluting their air with toxic waste, polluting their drinking water with toxic crap, killing off their major means of livelihood (the fishes), and then leaving them used, hungry and economically crippled, without a source of food? let's not even go there. The FG sabi say na dem mess up big time, and I support the struggle (even though it's been hijacked by greedy politicians with ulterior motives).
But as for Boko? Which case dem get? Just killing people incessantly because they forcefully want to turn the entire country into a haven of moon-worshipping illiterates.
Abeg, the attack on Boko's is DEFINITELY welcome!

Due to this egregious trend ethnocentrism that is ravaging this nugatory social network, i've found out that most of protagonist of despicable act of tribalism are not more a mere indolent , improvident and loquacious low lifers, unlike, what they portray themselves to be. The average tribalist here loves being garrulous and vindictive with the achievements of past generations without coming up with what they've achieved or intend to achieve personally. This nauseous act suppose to have gotten to the stage of where we'll ask ourselves whether we are retrogressing or progressing, otherwise, i wouldn't see why we'll keep swirling around the anachronistic achievements of the past generation. This notion of, " my tribesman achieved this or that" should transmogrify to, "i achieved this or that". Pls, i'm not trying to insinuate we should stop hallowing the past achievers, but, we should stop beind vindict with what the suffered for.
