You guys also caused as much harm as good. I was very much aware of the happenings during this time and I can tell you that you guys and your goons like Abagworo, ChinenyeN etc and chino or whatever his name is, were destroying the image of Igbos on this forum by talking shit and exposed most of the things outsiders used against Igbos on this forum.

Most of your lacked tact and would fight dirty outside. Although, you were doing the work of bringing awareness, but what MNK did in a year you guys didn't do 0.1%. MNK was the reason for the new Igbo consciousness and not the one thread a year discussion while the rest was based on empty bickering of superiority and debasing other Igbo groups.

CC: SlayerForever.
We discussed and ironed out differences between us that we normally don't speak on but breed mutual suspicions that worked against Igbo Unity.
We washed our dirty linens outside?
Yes, it was necessary we came out true to each other, we became Better for it.

Chyz and Wesley held sway for Ukwuani/Ndokwa brothers, keeping the Igbophobic ones among them at Bay by educating them.
Ogbuefi from Ika did same for IKa.

Ezepromoe and Abagworo held the show for Ikwerre.
Onlytruth our general held forth for Anaedo clan.
We had Ezeuche for Aro, Dede 1 for the trenches against Yoruba onslaught, ACM my Ogidi kinsman was his Shadow man from, we had Policewoman from Obiigbo, real Asa tribal woman.
There was Eziachi from Orlu with his life experience civil war stories.
Obiagu1 was the erudite researche and myth buster.
Not forgetting Afam4eva from Amaechi Awkunanaw Enugu and Igboboy from Aniocha. There was also One Naira from Asaba.

It was the age of Igbo enlightenment.
Information overload from that formidable team was something else. I struggled to keep up with my school work because I just had too many materials to read on Igbo history that they were making available.

IPOB and MNK has not 1% of information on Igbo history, pre colonial, colonial, pre civil war and post civil war like those men had.

All IPOB and MNK had done was take us 360 and back to where we were before they came.
Simply because IPOB lacked knowledge of history of Ndiigbo and her minorities neighbors.
IPOB has brought Ndiigbo unending ridicule from insignificant minority groups with their shameless unity begging.

Interesting.
Even Isoko (partial Urhobo) too?
Osekwenike is Igbo while Abuetor is Isoko.
That's what I have discovered from my little investigation so far.

I can't see much info on Okpokiri on Google search.

Looks like these communities (Abuetor, Okpokiri and Osekwenike) are similar to those Isoko/Ndokwa co inhabited towns in Ndokwa East LGA of Delta State.
Isoko people has been laying claim to those communities. Ndiigbo lacking in real nationalist movement since Igbo Union died in 1966 at hands of the drunkard Ironsi, have been sleeping on top bike.

did you forget when Abia state sacked workers simply because they are from Enugu?
You said you don't want to be forced to be Nigerian but you want to force others to be igbos. Why?
Ironsi and Ojukwu nearly kill Adaka Boro when he wanted to be on his own, but years later Ojukwu also wanted to be on his own. What a hypocrite!
Abia governors who are Fulani stooges, who don't believe in Igbo republic and who don't subscribe to Igbo independence from Nigeria.
Do not represent the aspirations of Ndi Abia! They represent the wishes of their Gambari masters and as you can see, Igbos don't regard the so called governors because we know they don't represent our interests.

Read the above again to assimilate better!

Adaka Boro was an ingrate who was working with Balewa and Saraduna to destabilize the East.
Today with Harold Dipriye, Boro was bankrolled by the North to destabilize the East because Balewa was angry about Tiv and Jos riots against the Caliphate and accused Ndiigbo of supporting the Northern minorities to destabilize the North.

Boro was a short sighted Ijaw who went to Ghana to recruit his Ijaws kinsmen and committed genocide against Igbos indigenous to Bonny and Opobo.
In due time, we will repay that debt.
Boro was killed by his Arewa masters after they were done using him.

Why all these attempts at breaking Igbos apart? Is it because we lost a civil war or what??
Nobody stopped us from working on reunification of Igboland.
Those groups will come on board if they see genuine effort at unification from SE, bankrolled by a formidable Igbo nationalistic movement, whose presence would be felt in terms of community projects and Political empowerment of these communities by bankrolling them against other minorities.

We haven't evolved such group.
IPOB was a waste of time with their Multiethnic Babelian Biafra Agenda, no Igboid group in SS would accept that, they already know what it feels like sharing a region with minorities.
The less said about Ohanaeze Ndiigbo, the better.

They (Igbo pocket communities scattered in all 6 SS states) will come on board with SE when they sense strong purposeful leadership in SE built on Igbo empowerment and squashing of any group, be they minorities or majority standing on our way.

That can't be true simply for the fact that there would be Ijaw population in Ghana but there isn't there's no such thing as an ethnic group leaving their homeland to help transport slaves and in any case the Portugese only initially mentioned meeting the Itsekiri and the Urhobo, contact with the Ijaws came much later.
That's the true history of Izon.
They were described by the Portuguese as the "people of jos".
Ijaw claim to originating from Nigeria is hinged on indigenous tribes like Obulom, Udekeme, Ogbia, etc they met on ground and linked themselves with.
But all those indigenous groups have languages fitting into the indigenous YEAII language of Southern Nigeria or the Cross- River cluster language group.
Whereas Izon language sticks out like a malignant cell with no link to these groups.

Ijaw from Ghanahuh?
Ijaws are mainly Ghanaians who came to Niger Delta with the Portuguese.
They were porters.
They migrated from the coast of Ashanti in ghana in an Eastward direction to the coasts of Gabon transporting the whites and settling along the coasts mixing with indigenous tribes there.
That's the hidden history of Ijaws.

They are not the only group. There is a smaller group called, "Buseni". I know like one or two personally, although I have not been in contact for a long time. Many of them speak some form of Igbo and even dress Igbo sometimes. They even have Igbo surnames. But they are so small that they have mixed with people around them. Even their chiefs still wear the traditional isi-agu right there in Bayelsa.
However, to be fair they just identify as "Buseni" and probably also speak other couple of native languages in addition. They are small and have been absolved. I can't call them Igbo completely but yeah..
I Know of Biseni.
They are like Igbide who has now been Isokonized.

Biseni people are originally of same stock as Ogba, Ndoni and Ogbaru and Ukwuani people.
They were proto Igboid people.
But the town got overrun by Ijaws from Ghana who overwhelmed the natives in population.
So today Biseni has been completely ijawnized with few traces of original Igboid here and there.

We can't salvage Biseni anymore just like Igbide. We have to accept that they're now Fully Ijaws as they no longer speak an Igboid language as their first language.

Seriously, how does that concern anyone if they themselves haven't come out to lay this claim? Are you Igbo from bayelsa?

You IPoBs need to stop this nonsense.

Everyday you keep opening one thread about Igbos are here and Igbos are there.

I haven't heard anywhere in physical where such arguments are made, except here on nairaland, Facebook and other social media where you IPoBs publicly try to ridicule the great Igbos. If those Igbos in SS haven't com out to identify where they belong, please allow them be.

Stop all these attachees.

There are bigger issues to tackle in the south east. You IPoBs keep killing businesses in the east by attacking everyone and every businesses. How do you expect people to take you serious.
Don't be stupid.
You can't care more about Ndiigbo than Igbos themselves.
Face your group and let Ndiigbo be.

There has never really been a truly aggressive Igbo nationalistic group in Igboland since Igbo state union was killed by Ironsi in 1966.
Ohanaeze has been more like a political jamboree group of old senile old men out for Ghana must go bags from politicians.
IPOB is a confused group that is actually anti Igbo.

When we finally evolve a truly Igbo nationalistic movement that will put the interest of all involved clans as Paramount objective, all Igbo speaking groups will willingly come and bend the knee.
Because language and culture is and will always be a strong pulling force.

Chibudom Nwuche is an Ekepye top Politician who has continually identified with his Igbo identity.

Problem is that SE has been derailed by Utopian Biafra with minorities for too long that we have failed to work on Igbo nationalism by actively and deliberately politically uniting all Igbo speaking people while "binning" the minorities for now. cool
PoliticsRe: Opobo Kingdom And Igbo Language by Ariani: 11:59pm On Sep 06, 2021
SlayerForever:
This is somehow funny and I'll tell you why. One can never claim IPOB derailed Igbo nationalism because though the organization does not strictly fight for Igbo areas alone, in the mode of operation it is STRICTLY ENSURED that the erroneous state lines and the divisive "my state" identity that has plagued Ndigbo since after the war is eradicated. The cohesion IPOB brought with that move is unprecedented.

In fact, it is that eradication of the nonsense "state identity" that makes IPOB so formidable. People don't know. Individual Igbo states don't exist in IPOB, this in turn brought forward the Igbo bu otu nationalistic drive. Now look at erstwhile "timid" Ebonyi today, boldly identifying. Do you know how grateful they are to Nnamdi Kanu. You know how things used to be.

You can't compare IPOB and MASSOB at all in mode of operation. It is not about social media, IPOB is well structured (mind you thousands of MASSOB members defected to IPOB and yet IPOB retains its structure, focus and mode of operation). In fact I have had intellectualists opine that IPOB is the most organized body in Nigeria today.

Today Igbo identity is always on the fruntburner, from Igbos in Delta, to Igbos in Rivers, to Bonny, Opobo. Even daringly Kalabari and Okrika. No time since the war has Igbo people been this assertive. It is a threat to the status quo that has been maintained all this while. And who are the majority perpetuating this Igbo discussions : IPOB "foot soldiers".

So all these is derailing of Igbo nationalism? Unbelievable. Eastlink said he is a realist this morning. I smiled at the statement. I reckon you fancy yourself a realist too.

If one cannot rid sentiment from reasoning one cannot be said to be a realist, for sentiment is idealism. Plainly, if you cannot shun bias when considering a subject matter and pick the obvious positives you are halfway to failing.
Lol!
IPOB eliminated state lines and replaced it with what?
They replaced it with "two wrapper based Biafran tribe that existed before Igbo and contains all ethnic groups whose mothers tie two wrappers".
MNK even once said there is nothing like Igbo.
That he is not Igbo, but rather a Biafran.

MNK and IPOB fought tooth and nail to obliterate the Igbo identity and tag and in its place create a fictional "Biafran" identity where Ndiigbo are apparently supposed to be one and same people as myriads of minorities stretching from SS to Cameroon and Igala/Idoma.

See, MNK era has not even totally come to an end, and his disciples are already distorting history.

IPOB and MNK have never fought for Igbo nationalism.
Instead they tried unsuccessfully and albeit foolishly to kill Igbo identity by merging the Igbos with unrelated Igbophobic minorities under a fabricated Biafran ethnicity.
That was how maps showing the existence of delusional Biafra kingdom before British colonialism were fabricated by MNK and IPOB.

We all watched it unfold here and could only shake our heads in disgust while holding our Patience to atleast see where he was heading to.

Nothing like southern alliance. Southern alliance when others benefit while Igbos are at the receiving end. Had an Igbo being on the ballot in 2011 and 2015 instead of GEJ will the Ijaw have voted for him? It's on record that since the end of the civil war majority Ijaws have supported the north. Igbos yes have played their politics wrong, but will you blame them when they are seen as political orphans?

Others want their votes, but when it comes to reciprocating the favour another story will rear it's ugly head. We’ve seen this play out countless times. Southern unity will only be strengthened based on mutual respect.
Exactly.
Southern unity has always been about Igbos supporting other voting blocks. Like we supported OBJ in 1999 and 2003 and GEJ in 2011 and 2015.
One would think that any talk of Southern unity in 2023 would be about SW and SS coming together to ensure equity by queuing behind a candidate from Igboland.
Instead what we see are bunch of cunning and slimy, selfish and scheming people with no iota of sincerity shouting Southern Solidarity!
Ekwensu ga Ami ha onu.

The earlier Ndiigbo know that there is nothing like Southern Solidarity especially when it doesn't involve Igbos supporting other southern blocks, the better for us.
Go take a look at 1979 and 1983 presidential elections.
Zik got the least vote in southern minorities areas than Balewa and Awolowo did.
This is how vindictive and Igbophobic those lots are. Yet we never paid them back in 2011 and 2015 which with advantage of hindsight I'm beginning to believe is a big political blunder and miscalculation on our own part, because these people are a people with no iota of sincerity, equity, justice or gratitude in them.
You can be rest assured that any Igbo presidential candidate today will get exactly same reception Zik got in 1979 and 1983 from the minorities.

Ndiigbo will have to learn that in this jungle, we are on our own and hence cannot afford to play any sentiment games anymore.

Any so called southern solidarity that doesn't involve SW and SS minorities queuing behind an Igbo candidate for justice and fairness, should be discarded and rubbished by Ndiigbo.

For our IPOB brothers who think everything starts and ends with their "suplim lida", you all should try and read this thread:https://www.nairaland.com/500126/true-extent-alaigbo-igboland

I, like many Igbo nationalists here, was there at the beginning to the end of that thread. Of course I was under different moniker then.
Read carefully through that thread.

Because it would appear some of you are attributing the ground work of Igbo nationalists who went all over Nigerian forums, from Nigeriavillagesquare of those days, to bestnaijaforum, etc that held sway before nairaland took over, preaching the gospel of true extent of Igboland and arguing for Igbo only Biafra without Minorities, especially Ijaws, to MNK.

MNK only arrived to the scene in 2014 or thereabouts and only became active in 2015 following Buhari lack of tact.

And I can tell you that all MNK did was put a stop to the pan Igbo nationalism movement that was beginning to take hold then and replaced it with Babelian Biafra of "two wrapper" wearing tribes. MNK and IPOB only succeeded in derailing the pan Igbo nationalistic movement that was gathering pace, and replaced it with a shameful era of unity begging to minorities.

The only good to come out this now drawing to end MNK era, is that, many Igbos youths who know nothing about history of Ndiigbo and minorities in the East, were exposed to Igbophobia of minorities and now understand better why Igbo nationalists who are guided by history, insisted on Igbo only Biafra from the beginning.

So to an extent, MNK played a big role in this our struggle, but then his role must be put in the right context.

These lots have lost their minds.
Most of them cannot think independently again , when we know that independent thinking is the Hallmark of the very core of the things that differentiates the Igbo race from others. Our innate republic and democratic tenets as a people are built on this, yet this is the very thing IPOB and MNK were fighting against.
All their thought process must be filtered through MNK ideology and principles and if only it ends there, we would not have a problem.
But the problem is that these people will violently, both physically and verbally force all Igbos to filter our independent minds through the hive mind MNK had created for them.
Very pathetic and Un-Igbo lots.
And it wouldn't even be so Grimm if MNK is very sound in understanding the Igbo vs minorities history. But it's disturbing when you see MNK make utterances that betrays his complete ignorance about the bitter Igbophobic Agenda of Minorities led by the Ijaw.

Imagine some of them giving praise to MNK for the information that Opobo and Bonny are Igbo speaking, a common fact any well breastfed Igbo man knows, yet these ignoramuses don't know.

By taking MNK out of the scene, NIGERIA might have done Ndiigbo (Biafrans) a big favor without even knowing it. Finally the stupid Babelian Biafra MNK and IPOB are leading will die a natural death and in it's place will arise an aggressive and organic Igbo nationalistic BIAFRA for the Igbo speaking people and by the Igbo speaking people only.

My brother I was speechless, there Igbo is more central than my Owerri Igbo, ijaw will never succeed in their evil plans, can you see that they have all run away. This is an eye opener for those that thinks that Igbo ends with five South East state
Is this not what we have been preaching for years?
All talks of multi ethnic BIAFRA with minorities should stop and full throttle aggressive Igbo nationalism geared towards uniting all Igbo speaking people in SS and NC with SE be activated.

Have we not been saying this for years while IPOB and their "suplim lida" are obsessed with yeye unity with aggressive minorities out to grab Igbolands while riding on the Igbophobic horse of Hausa-Fulani and their Muslim supporters from SW?

Have we not said that we must first put Igboland in order by pursuing an Igbo only Biafra?

You are jumping at the knowledge of Opobo and Bonny today, but many of us have always known this for decades.
Yet you don't Know this, but you oppose us and push your ignorance driven multi ethnic BIAFRA with Igbophobic minority groups.

Taa ka bukwa gboo!

We are for Igbo nationalism ,not alignment with tribes who never wished us well
As it should be.
Things will align well in fullness of time.
But the charlatans promoting a tower of Babel with minorities for Ndiigbo will need to fizzle out.
