You don't know what you're saying. Most of those guys are artisans who'd rather make easy money than do a day job. They should go back to their honest living!

A willing government will get rid of them easily. Nurtw should take its dues upfront like other unions.

Their officials should also mandatorily put on uniforms. Nigeria is not the only country with a transport union. People should stop being fvcking crude!

The government needs to continually erode these bastards by expanding the BRT scheme and licensing private sector participants/bus companies. No more ugly agberos!
Note a serious government who wants to get rid of them.can and would.

Word!!!

Firstly all that relocate or get a smaller pad is bullshit.

Dude create your own world for yourself in the house.

1. Move your decoder to your room.
2. Eat out always .
3. When you get back from work, greet them gist a bit and retire to your cocoon.

Politics › Re: "Operation No Shanties In Lagos" Kicks Off In Ikeja (photos) by armadeo(m): 5:48pm On Aug 11, 2016
The real question is where the shanties supposed to be there in the first place?

They already are illegal so it baffles me when I see illegal structure owners asking for alternative when you shouldnt be there in the first place.

That's why they say government is heartless.

Yes. I know about 70% of Nigerians live below the poverty line and about 20% live around and slightly above the poverty line. While 10% fall into the rich.

So in the Nigerian context, the 20% are the "middle class" I was alluding to. And once they get wiped out and pushed below the poverty line - it is over for Nigeria. These people are the backbone of the Nigerian economy.
Good to know. However they already are below the poverty line.

In other words it's already finished. I just await the increase in fuel price to finally loose hope.

All we do is party and jest we aren't serious.

dgreatwap:
A NEW YEAR LOGICAL QUESTION WHICH REQUIRES LOGICAL ANSWER!

STRICTLY FOR GENIOUS!

Sherlock Holmes was walking down the streets in the morning
when he found many people gathered.
They were circling a woman‘s dead body.
He examined the body and found a purse in which was her license.
Her name was Anne n he called
up her residence number.
Her husband picked up the phone
and Sherlock said, “Your wife is
dead".
“No way“, said the husband.
“Please come and confirm“, said
Sherlock. Husband said,“Ok“ and
hung up.
After 10 mins, the husband came
and he saw the body and started
crying.
Sherlock looked at the police officer and said, “ARREST THE HUSBAND!......HE IS THE MURDERER!!!"

WHY DID SHERLOCK THINK SO?

Reasonable comments will be highly welcomed!!!
The husband was pretty dumb and Sherlock lucky.

The first question to ask is where am I coming to.

You aren't seeing from the right perspective bro. What this pricincrease is telling us is to look for an alternative source of power. Simple and short.
Good point.

Back to topic.

I haven't queued for fuel since his new price increase. There's fuel everywhere though my a.c. don spoil for now.

I think the marketers aren't making as much as they used to despite the increase in cost of dollars.

They are feeling the heat like everyone else and need to cash out and the only way is to increase fuel. A prediction of #200/lt was made today for September,

If that happens and we we dig the wall instead of fighting back then let's enjoy the change.

Business › Re: A Medium Sized Supermarket Or A Standard Men's Salon? My Budget Is 1M by armadeo(m): 4:58pm On Aug 10, 2016
Supermarkets and saloons are everywhere.

For a saloon to work you need to be there always to check on sales unlike a store where you can do balancing of products vs sales.

I ran a saloon once for a week when the owner travelled when I was a student and that was the only time it recorded profit.

I simply opened and glowed with them. I carried my DVD player there and watched movies from morning till close.

If no light no problem the gen only came on for business. The guy closed the saloon when I declared how much I made cos it was a friendly gesture I should take the sales go the week he was absent as pay.

Lol.

boss ,I am just a man that happens to understand and buhari and Nigerian politicians so well and inside out. The next thing to happen will be the fuel hike which is going to 200N by September and the mass retrenching of government workers .
This would be rough.

I would like to see how the country reacts. Maybe it would be the spark to the tinder box.

At this point we need to hire a president, preferably one who has a knack of turning comatose industries or organisations around, let's leave democracy for the countries with strong institutions and run he country like an organisation. Not these charlatans and trial and error people who know nothing about making a complexed society and comatose economy work.
This makes a lot of sense but doesn't enshrine the principles of democracy.

The country needs to be run like a business with the sole aim of making profit.

I pity civil servants the most they just lounge in thier offices foing nothing all day and yet when work actually comes if you don't have someone inside to push for you, OYO.

It is well.

Its so obvious that the zoo is fast sinking down the abyss and there is absolutely no plan to rescue it. The politicians have continued in their flamboyant & extravagant lifestyle while getting their humongous salaries & emoluments as at when due!! The civil servants are now living in penury while being owed a backlog of salaries despite the peanuts they are supposed to be earning!!! Frustration, Hunger, Hopelessness & Depression has become the norm yet the masses will rather support the politicians than demand justice. Something must give, no matter how thick our skin is in enduring hardship, there is a limit to what a man can take & the status qou cant continue. An unprecedented psunami is coming that will envelop this country & resultant effect will shock the world.
Scary but true.

I for see disaster in the nearest future and it would happen like a joke. I feel it already in the air. Looking at faces daily everybody angry, upset, depressed in the country.

We cannot go on like this the dam would burst soon and the flood would be unbelievable.

I'm lost here.

I thought they floated the dead currency a la toilet paper cos of investors...so why do they need to borrow again for investment? Lol

Methinks she has been compromised by the illiterates she's surrounded by. She needs to resign and leave the sinking ship before it destroys her CV. There's no hope for the government and it's going to get worse, especially with the toilet paper currency floating everywhere and lack of proper fiscal/economic policies. The interest rates are already extremely high and that should wipe out a lot of SMEs and slowly wipe out the "middle class". And that right there is a hole Naij won't get out of for at least a decade.

Run for your life lol.
Thank go's you put middle class in emphasis.

The only correction I have for this write up is there is no middle class you are either on the top of the poor or at the bottom of the rich.

No middle ground that died of years ago.
