My fav movie back then. I remember how I worried my dad to buy this movie. I think 1990.

I really enjoyed it then. Too bad culkin messed his life up but that's the thing with young stars it never ends well. Only few made the transition.

Remember the boy who saw dead people?

Btw Joe pesci .top dog of the movies that year even with his size remember goodfellas and casino. See as they've all aged.

1.25 trillion per annum. In my opinion this is a huge waste of resources and if carried out a very thoughtless venture by the gov't.

This is Nigeria they had already stated the fears about the program being hijacked and even employed persons trying to cash in on it. It's a dream and can never be a reality.

1.)There is no existing database in the country even ordinary car papers and drivers license cannot be adequately recorded talk less of 25million people.

2.) What criteria will be used to determine who is a youth? I knowledge will come and talk hereof age 18 to 40 but we have seen 60 year old youth leaders.

3.) Will thispaymet be directly from federal gov't or the state's. This one would be interesting if gov't will disburse funds to states to pay unemployed youths. I wonder what would happen in osun and benue

I think instead of giving fish to the people give them fishhooks and show them the river.

Massive infrastructural and technological advancement would require manpower from almust very aspect of society both skilled and unskilled. The government should know this and that money would be an investment that would affect a generation of Nigerians if calculated for just 3 years ( p.s how much is The national budget sef? This is more than some states yearly subvention).

I think they should scrapthis idea and be forwardforward thinking.

My opinion.
Politics › Re: Remi Tinubu ‘Takes Over’ Ekweremadu’s Seat - TheCable by armadeo(m): 3:11pm On Nov 18, 2015
In my opinion if the seat is reserved for the DSP she had no right to sit there in his absence except she was sitting in for him which I doubt.

She should respect herself and boundaries. These senators sef fighting over seat meanwhile students are sitting on the floor to try and be useful to themselves and society.

This Senate go sweet die. Many she was poised for the DSP position based on links to jagagban but the saraki coup foiled that dream. Thats why she is pained. loLol.

I think all the seats there should be removed and let them collect standing allowance.

In other news.

Those people on the FP I bow for all of una. I typed one letter to secure space see where I land. And my network fast.

Some of them do but they cannot leave
Why?

Nowhere to go?
Nobody to turn to?

If the situation isn't ideal you move on. People relocate back to thier villages when town becomes to tough.

My grouse with this particular man is that he wasn't chained up. He wasn't locked up in the basement. He was afraid to return to Nigeria or didn't want to return and chose slavery. What now opened his eyes?

How many slaves were there in those days? How many were like Kunta? Why was kunta different?
Lol. I can't be broken. I rather die on my feet than live on my knees.

Many were like kunta only we didn't get to hear of them. While I understand slavery in modern days that dosnt mean I would condone it or allow it happen to me.

That's beside the point hear the threat made to this 40yr oldslave...

If you leave the house you would be deported back to Nigeria. This is what kept a grown man in shackles. He was mentally a slave. Isn't it better to be free in Nigeria than to be in chainsin UK.

I have the same opinion as regards illegal immigrants everywhere. At last nobody was chasing you where you are coming from. You were free. ( apart from nations at war).

Modified.

Just read your post on psychological slavery and my answer remains the same. I rather just die and get it over with.

No I am not. He is. How can you be kept in slavery for 26yrs. No matter how young you were when you were captured.

Kinte ran they cut his leg and he ran again. He didn't need anyone to tell him it was wrong. Maybe as a child yes but he raised kids even kids talk. If he listened he should have known.

Maybe you too would have been kept for that long and I wouldn't.

Maybe you are also a muggu or a kidnapper who's upset.

We need strict laws enforcing gun control. Because a man would be wary to come knock your door not knowing if you are strapped.
