lrman: Not just the naira...major currencies all over the world do the same thing....forex traders all over the world knows all these things...make una rest..nothing is un-natural about the falling of the currency of your country that is totally import depended.....early 1990s , dollar was not even up to 100naira...boom it entered 400naira...this is not the first time naira is falling so fast.. it has happened several times before...it is just that the economy was not as bad as it is now...
More to come. Pity. We can only hope something tilts else.....
Neverlosemoney: This gives me a hard laugh. The Naira Decline seems very scary and unreal to you. You are having a hard time trying to take it in.
Most people read about all we are currently witnessing in a book, they really have never experienced it in real time such as hyperinflation, devaluation etc
Your government decided to completely floats something entirely worthless (depegged from the Dollar). Even China with all it great economy that could easily back it currency, dare not dreamed of committing such madness.
I laughed because The decline is yet to start and you are already shaken off.
This truth is quite scary to be honest. I've known we were heading in this direction early this year but didn't believe it could get this bad in reality.
Crypro loses have made it worse for me. Na siddon look I dey now. No trading no looking at charts. I just come here once once for updates. I'm not doing anything till January next year. I'll load up usdt as I see money but no trades at all.
abduleez1: Checked out this trailer yesterday evening to see what's all the hype about and I was premiumly fvvking disappointed. The movie looks bland as fvvk. And the acting and dialogue just smells atrocious. Never been turned off by a trailer before even for Nollywood standards.
The only positive I see about the movie is it's beautiful Cinematography and costume design. The scriptwriting and acting is suspect.... wondering how the whole movie would be noticing this just from the trailer. Ain't impressed at all. 😤😐😑
Justiceleague1: Stupid mofo at that Nass, who the hell do you propose #500k for secondary school teachers and "#250k" for primary school teachers? Do you know what it takes to build up kids at the primary level? Or do they think primary school teachers can't teach in secondary schools?
No need to vex dem no go ever pay that money. Never!!!.
An immature, juvenilistic, and unappealing movie with a super bland villain. Although its comic theme was good, likewise the actings of Zachery Levi, Gina Rodriguez, Connor Esterson, and Everly Carganilla as Terrence, Nora, Tony and Patty respectively, especially Everly and Gina.
When I saw Netflix as the studio behind the movie, I was thrilled, anticipating an intriguing movie like most Netflix films, but tragically, I was slapped with a Nickelodeon and Disney XD quality of film. Such tragedy. I guess the younger audience might find it interesting, I hope they do though.
Honestly, Spy Kids franchise has the potential of being a big scale, spy action thriller franchise, a worthy competition to Ready Player One, Mission Impossible, and James Bond franchises, but unfortunately it is sitted at the "Potential" court.

Lol. You try. I knew this would be a waste of time so no need.
Started this this afternoon still glued to it. Ep 3 and rolling and it is a masterpiece.
This is really good.
Done with this. I suspected the reason for the fall earlier but it was still a chiar edge movie. I'm not into horror thrillers like that buy this was worth it.
paskal16: This lupin series cracks me up Most wanted man in France roaming the country without mask and awful disguises , still nobody notices him 😭😭😭😂 Horrendous!
Exactly why I stopped watching it. Its unbelievable
NaijaMemes: Continuing on the ignorance of the average Nigerian, we can relate said ignorance to the movie section right here on Nairaland.
On most movie forums or groups abroad, you will see people dissecting movies from different angles. From the graphics, to the politics, to the themes and quality of writing. Also such foreign groups also tend to have a lot of members who watch movies at the cinema.
But come to Nairaland, and you will see all manner of reviews that have no context. 95% of the Nairaland movie forum don't even watch movies at the cinema.
The ignorance comes in their defence of not watching movies at the cinema. What they don't realise is that they are exposing their poverty based mentality when arguing against cinema movies. Now, it is not compulsory to watch all movies at the cinema but as a movie fan or fanatic, you have to watch some of the blockbusters at the cinemas.
The irony being that cinema tickets are cheaper in Nigeria than the west. A blockbuster movie costs at least 10 pounds in Central London. 10 pounds is 12,000 Naira at the moment.
There is a certain nuance that comes with watching a movie at the cinema during its release. For instance, Black Panther was a success because of its timing. It was released at black history month, and at a time when there was scarcity of black African heroes. The black panther movie was also a movement at the time with everyone coming out of the cinema with the cross-armed Wakanda greeting. Watching the movie four months later wouldn't have that effect.
Why this matter dey pepper you for body. There is a reason poseidon exists, there's a reason the high seas exist. We are the chosen and we take from them everything and give nothing back.
IngeniousLeez: She'd still Bleep that stupid Sul'dam up. And I'm waiting.
Wheel of Time really upped their game this season and gave people what they want. The acting is way better than last season that's only Rosamund Pike that was making an effort with the rest with average fvvking performances. Writing — much better.
I'm hoping Rings of Power can also level up like this instead of relying on crazy budget and VFX. Cos Amazon won't be so ready to splurge that stupid amount of money next time with little to no input in audience numbers. 🌚
I'm gonna pop a bottle when she bleeps that bithc up.
Currently watching foundation now.
I've seen Roald dahls collection on metflix I'll see that later.
Jarchi: ° Brodaman, Egwene al'Vere no dey hear word. Put am for belle. Which one be I will kill you. Premium torture loading.
I can't predict WOT again, new stories unfolding with each scene. Them mad girls wan turn Rand to personal weapon but Light no gree for them. Matriarchy making me see Patriarchy in another light, both is evil. No human should be a slave, object or weapon cuz of gender or whatever. But humans can't be equal we need to promote equity. ° ***Jarchi***
That ep 6 is seared into my brain. Omo dem break that girl down to primal. Omo. I can't wait for ep 8. This is just too good.
