If you go to Colleges trash area the end of spring and beginning of summer - there you see so many stuff we threw away. People come into campus to collect grin some ended up in flea markets, yard sales etc

They really know how to shop and dump and shop again cheesy. Using things for 10 years or the life of the products is not their thing.

MALIGNANTGuest:
Most na things wey OYIBO throwaway.
IF you visit many areas of the US, you go pack things tire.
Problem na clearing those items for Naija.
Naija custom charge my friend exorbitantly for a car he bought so cheap here that the guy ran mad.
US shipping na fixed price (standardized).
Even Babies in the US know shipping cost including doing collabo with someone for 40ft container.

But in Nigeria, most of us do not know the actual cost of getting our Nigeria passport.
Some will tell u 28k, some 35k, some 50k.
Haaaaabaaaaaa!

Ginni shouldn't have gotten herself involved - knowing her husband's position.

Shut the hell up! Who told you it is not affecting Nigeria as much as other parts of the world? How many people go and get tested like they test in the west? One in how many thousands of Nigerians? Person wey never see food chop get time for covid test?

And we wonder why more people have been dying after ‘a brief illness’ in the past couple of years. Better get out of that village you are in and gain exposure and education. There is more to life than food food all the time. Lazy youth….
Agadi, we won't hear word again?

She said Covid and Ebola didn’t affect Nigeria as much as the other parts of the world(contrary to predictions), which is true, you dey here dey parah!
Is a pandemic something to be proud of?
Shouldn’t you rather be proud they didn’t affect Nigeria as much?
Abi you wan help oyinbo people spread false news ni?

Ebola didn’t get to Nigeria? What tv did you watch people ‘dieing’ in the streets? This guy just lock up already. You are making a very silly and senseless argument and the more you argue, the more you expose your ignorance.

Learn to not ‘put mouth’ in what you know nothing about. You are either a teenager with very little life experiences or just a very dull adult. I’m very sorry to say….
Where did I say Ebola didn’t happen in Nigeria?
Learn to read, ruminate and understand. But -
You know - you are a very stupid man and lacking in manner! Something is really wrong with you. Not being calm on line won't help you Mr. Baba.
I'm not the cause of your issues in life so - escape to where you came out from!

Have a productive day Mr. Man!

You can be reposnding to ur work mails this minute and the next minute u are frying some golden brown beef samosa in the kitchen to snack on tongue

Bro Calm down. She doesn’t mean it that way.

The truth is that Covid was “expected” to ravage Africa as in people falling down in the middle of the streets with bodies on the side walks. But that didn’t happen. Hence the question of did it even get there?

Of course it makes sense to calculate that it did get to us much like other parts of the world but our non-existent record keeping makes it hard to know exactly how affected we were.

.
Thanks coco -
Around every corner on earth it was happening, we all heard, watched news and saw pictures of people dieing in the streets etc I looked back at when another contagion (Ebola) happened - we know how a contagion 'virus' behaves/spread in crowded places.
I always say thank goodness it didn't get to Nigeria...but oh well!

Having witnessed how the infections spread - at churches, schools, bus, playgrounds, workplaces, stores etc we just didn't hear of those kind of COVID-19 spreading, surge etc in Nigeria. People were still going about doing business, going to church, large market gatherings etc
I thought it was flu not COVID-19 that happened.
Anyway research is on going.
Since you guys want to brag about experiencing COVID-19, all good. I want it over.

Gloriagee:
There was covid for heaven's sake. People died and I know folks with personal experiences...

Typical GQP playbook. What then is the job of congress since the states should decide everything.

@sanpipita and budaatum.

I am sure that Justice Thomas who is married to a white woman will agree with him too.
The GQP clearly has an agenda to undo many precedents the court has upheld.
They don't want us humans to fall in love again.
Oh well!

You forgot modified foods are in Nigeria now ? Food from China etc your indomie/noodles undecided as example.
No perfect place on earth - diabetes is every where - Cancer is every where.

paschal47:
When you guys travel out of this country you just believe people there live a better life than us when it comes to dishes?

The food you've been eating from your childhood that doesn't cause you anything now becomes a concern to you.

Can you compare an elderly person in the US to an elderly person in Nigeria?

The rate at which they all die from cancer from modified and processed food?

No wonder y'all come back looking like sacks of vegetables.

Tueeh! Nigerian meals over "abroadian" meals.

I don't know if it is the food and strong immune...maybe...they are researching it.
For real, I don't really think there was ever COVID-19 in some parts of Africa eg Nigeria.

Right - trying to get similar food by buying organic - money grabbing. For example - I buy organic brown egg because I just don't understand the taste of White eggs.

descarado:
Covid was an eye opener. The West we hail every day is yet to accept the fact that we sub saharan Africans defied them and still living.

Why ?
Cos we have strong immune system due to the type of food we eat.

Grit is made from dried corn - as in the Nigerian "corn tuwo or tuwo masara" but more coarse.
I made it with little water to make it thick.
