Johndoe100:
Any man that has to even think about this is no real man. If he wants to give the woman a lift, he should go ahead. If he feels frisky and wants to "taste" the girl - why not? Any wife that is not greatfull that the man comes home to her needs to be disiplined.
haha, just trying to excite the fem grin nazis, but try harder grin

i think our mindset as nigerians is making things harder than it should be in present age. we put too much emphasis on my role and your role.
i'd prefer a marriage where we both have no husbandy and wifey roles.

@mide14
when you start wanting space in your marriage, i think you should check your relationship again.
Family › Re: Is It Wrong For A Married Man To Give A Lift To A Helpless Girl? by armyofone(m): 6:53pm On Sep 12, 2011

davidylan:
Not married yet but in my opinion . . . YES a marriage is well worth it. Beyond the fights, arguments, nagging and all - there is that feeling that you do have a best friend, a life-companion, someone who will be there by your side whether you forgot her birthday or not and most importantly, the joy of raising offspring together.

the problem however is in finding the right person to complement you.

Certain things we consider negatives when it comes to marriage like loss of freedom isnt really true. Like my brother's inlaw once told me, if you enjoy a hobby - teach your woman to see it as hers too such that marriage isnt as much a loss of your freedom to watch sports but an opportunity to gain a partner you can rant at when Nigeria as usual fails to score. She will still cook for you and rub your head later that night.

No man was created to be lonely, sooner than later we will all find ourselves at that point where we too long for our own!
True, after all is said and done, all the degree. . .  you've acquired, graduation done, you find yourself all alone. God, i don't want that, no no.

When women marry guys like dayokanu, who already see women as naggers and mood switchers (like they are not the cause anyway undecided), the marriage is doom from start and surely be Afghanistan.
Some families especially the poor ones are just like Afghanistan. . .fight fight fight all the time !
Family › Re: Should I Build A House For My Dad by armyofone(m): 10:33pm On Sep 05, 2011
Please go and take care of your mom. now that she is renting, make sure she lives in a good apartment fully equipped with everything.
then complete that home you are building for her (only if you have the money and more of it and not make your own family starve in the process o). give your dad money when he needs it but don't bug yourself abt a home for him.

your dad ma be looking for way to have a new home to show off to his friends and make them miserable undecided.
