maybe he asked for prayers cuz of the idea of spirit, remember when growing up and going to the stream or going to fetch water in the evening, you see something with white cloth from head to toe and they say it's spirit of the dead. but how the spirit take wear white clothes now? i'm still pondering how true.

i think her guy is being fishy/mischievious.

naijababe:
Don't know about IVF? Isn't the whole point of a vasectomy is for the man's Fluid to have zero Fluid? Unless the docs in the house can educate us on how his Fluid can be collected, IVF will not work (as the produced Fluid won't have Fluid cells).
@ OP, did you drag him with a rope around his neck to the hospital to have the procedure? I am yet to understand how the decision of a mentally sound mind to alter his anatomy is your fault? I guess you should try and save up for a reversal but if it doesn't work? What then?
Food › Re: Peeling Beans by armyofone(m): 5:43pm On Sep 01, 2011

Family › Re: Pain & Mercy! My Husband Had Vasectomy Because Of Me by armyofone(m): 5:33pm On Sep 01, 2011
persuade will be the best word here. you persuaded him not forced him. what is wrong with having 2 kids? the energy your man is using to cause trouble, he should invest it into going back to school and getting an advance degree (if no more work raring children). make more money and give back. . . he could also help in group homes.

kai men sef  undecided
Food › Re: Peeling Beans by armyofone(m): 3:26pm On Sep 01, 2011

maclatunji:
Claremont's submission is rubbish and is not as modern as he would like us to believe. There are very few cases where a housewife will do nothing at all to make money for herself whilst she takes care of the kids. A woman staying at home is ideal. However, she should be creative an add value to the society by running a small home-run business or take advantage of the many opportunities the Internet offers.

I am of the conviction that my future wife's needs should be met by me. Whatever money she earns is hers not for us to share. Hence, she would not need to be hustling like a man when there are kids to be catered for. This should be what everybody strives for. Granted, it may not be possible for some people.

Rabzy, your story is touching, God bless you.

my wish for our 21st century Nigeria is that pple have few kids, it make things a bit easier. looking at the pix on front page, i think the kids are likely to be age 5. so young to carry tray on their head and hawk.
Food › Re: Peeling Beans by armyofone(m): 2:48pm On Sep 01, 2011
Hi Miss. Ife,

first, the mortar i use is a mini mortar and pestle. one that can sit on my kitchen counter.
actually, you crush by moving the pestle around the bean inside the mortar. you don't pound like pounding yam grin how do i explain it now  grin
if you have mini mortar and pestle, you soak the bean for like 10 to 15mins. then pour the soaked bean inside the mortar and crush (not pound  wink) crush till you see the skin peeling off which is just a few mins. Note that the longer you soak the bean (if using mortar) the more your bean breaks into bits. so don't soak for more than 30mins. after crushing my beans, some break out in halves while the rest remain whole and it's all good while rinsing them. few that come into the sieve, i pick out. so easy  wink

1st try, don't give up. by the time you start using MM&P, you will love it, wash and make moin moin and akara all the time and in nano second  cheesy. really it is easier than all the other ways of peeling black eye beans.

The Haunting of Paris10 grin grin

OP, your conscience has no peace. it is well.

paris10:
Thanks for your advice. But it's too late now. Too many people are on my neck. I even had a dream 2 days ago about someone from nowhere killing my sister because of me. Although I've rejected that dream, I however think some people somewhere are after me.

Also, before my dream, my sister called me to warn me that she had a dream that I fell into a river, and that my father (now deceased) came and rescued me. You see, too much trouble. Whilst I believe no one can harm me because of God's power and anointing in my life, I do think they might harm my family.
