I was in Imo state last two weeks, the two Bridges are ok and have long been put into use. Ihedioha closed one with red muds claiming that his committee recommended that it must be closed. Ihedioha thinks he's fighting Rochas not knowing that indirectly he's vindicating him. His opposition is using media to tarnish him outside Imo state while the real people in Imo still love and cherish him. Time shall tell. This government think that they are fighting Rochas while indirectly showing that Rochas touched all the sector of Imo state.
-He created 20,000 jobs under youths must work which is under investigation under this government while 3,000 employed in 2018 have already been sacked leaving 2016 and 2017.
- He created 6 new universities, and 4 polytechnics and colleges which ihedioha closed 7 leaving only 3.
- He built more than 32 hospitals which the present government has refused to equip the ones he couldn't equip.
- He gave amnesty to cult boys terrorising Ohaji-egbema axis so as to enable outright security in the state. But Mr. Property recover has threatened to remove the policy.
- He gave free education to all levels, which rumor has it that the present governor is planning to terminate it.
- During his time, he gave appointments to virgin politicians empowering new people while this present governor is bringing back the old thieves in Imo state.
- Markets in the major cities and rural communities took new and good shape under him.
- He gave free school uniform to Imo school children.
- He built 2 new stadia in Orlu and Okigwe.
- He did urban renewal in Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe.
- He created so many roads in Imo state.
- He refurbished Imo international cargo airport, built state of art federal high court and prison headquarter which are federal government projects according to the present governor. But should a good governor allow his state to decay just because some projects belongs to federal government?

The list is endless. He built international conference center, trade and investment center, palace of Imo traditional rulers in Owerri. The wife empowered youths and built houses for widows.

More drama is going from Imo state if the present governor continue the way he is going. Let he start work and leave Rochas and his family alone. Imo state is a mess now while other state governors have gone far with the development of their state.

During campaign, all the candidates made recovery of the states loots from Rochas as a key campaign promise. Any who didn't was seen as failed even before the election.
Rochas is thanking God that Ararume of Apga or Hope Uzodinma of APC isn't governor cos it would have been far worse than this. He and his family members would have been in hiding by now. Ihedioha is a gentleman and more accommodating than those ones

Using the EFCC to go after the Okorochas, for me, was completely unnecessary. We must learn to see things from a broader perspective. Imo State needs jobs...and the agency will just render them useless.

Besides, the EFCC doesn't return to state monies that were looted in the state. This argument has been on for years.

Given that Rochas and his goons stole the money and invested it in the state, he should have let it ride.

I remember how Sullivan used the EFCC to victimize Chimaroke Nnamani.

What was the result? The antigraft watchdog killed eastern region's biggest telcom Rainbownet and the best private radio station in the region at the time, Cosmo FM. You and I know what such moves usually lead to - more unemployment.

Today, Chimaroke is a senator, and Sullivan has become pollitically irrelevant.

I am not a fan of Rochas, I don't really like quite good numbers of his policies. However, the committee failed to say one concrete reason why those principal officers must be sack. Government is a continuous and dynamic, if the methods of their appointment is wrong and doesn't follow due process, if the principal officers are not qualify. If they are found wanting in their duties by this IHEDIOHA COMMITTEE, Those are very different reasons, but to sack them just because they were appointed by Rochas is not only very wrong it very distasteful.

How can Okorocha pronounce establishment of 8 new universities 2months to the end of his tenure without any tangible structures. Even the federal government cannot establish 8 new universities now. Mind you, he never funded the existing state university. I will assume Ihedioha is as mad as Rochas if he didn't scrap off those so called new universities.

The Imo State Government on Wednesday made good its promise to fully revive the rubber estate at Obitti Community in Ohaji Local Government Area of the state when the committee on Imo Rubber Estates Limited parleyed with landlords and stakeholder’s of the largest rubber estate in the state.

Dr. Ray Opara, Chairman of the committee who led Imo Commissioner of police (CP) his team and other members of the committee to the host communities where hostilities by youths had stalled production activities for years before the intervention of the rubber committee instituted by Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Opara said the committee was on assignment to resuscitate, investigate the environmental and human damage caused by past administration and the operations of the aggrieved youths and landlords who frowned against neglect by past administration.

He said,” Our governor Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has given us the mandate to resolve the long protracted problems in the rubber plantation. The governor brought us together to ensure this investment is resuscitated to the benefit of Obiti people.”

The Chairman who seized the platform to solicited corporation and support of the people assured them that Imo Government will revalidate staff list and add more staffers.

He averred that Gov Ihedioha has a different approach to governance, charging stakeholders and youths to reason among themselves and present the committee with names of their children ready to work for possible employment.

According to him, “Give us your utmost corporation today and we will revalidate the staff list and ensure your children are carried along in the sphere of things in the rubber plantation. Whatever the problem is that has kept that place moribund, will be resolved. We are aware of the agreement you have had before with past government but ours will be different and you will benefit first”

Opara who raised eyebrows over the rate at which rubber trees were being cut down by the people enjoined them to desist from such act because the establishment was for their interest.

The Chairman who was so impressed with the community overwhelming reception during the visit out of his personal purse offered a monetary award in form of scholarships worth N400 thousand to secondary school pupils whose parents are land owners in Obiti community.

He said,” through my foundation, Chibuzor Foundation, the scholarship will be given to pupils who performed excellently particularly those who took first position from JSS1-SSS3 in the coming examination.

The Traditional Ruler of Obiti community, HRH Rze Emmanuel Odunze, in his welcome address commended Governor Ihedioha for remembering his community and for deeming it fit to resuscitate a company that had gone moribund for several years.

He assured the members of the committee that if Obiti Community gets what is due to it, as promised by the government that his people will surely cooperate with government of Gov Ihedioha.

Mr billionaire why not buy it from my Dad. Why take it by force and claim that it's now government property only for my Dad to do land search at ministry of lands, my father's name was changed to Uche Nwosu(Rochas son-in-law).

Even Oshomole came to Owerri and promise us during APC campaign that he will help us to get our property back, in fact every candidate promise the same thing. This recovery committee has promised they will get us our properties back. So this is not APC and PDP fight.

This is a fight between poor masses who had been denied pension and salary for more than 2 years plus. And they say he's a billionaire.

What they're collecting from the daughter are the items she stole few days to the transition to Ihedioha. She couldn't control her greed, she went and disconnect the big 100KVA soundproof Generator at the government house to her Plaza.

Even the plaza they built the land belongs to women lawyers association. And they left Rochas to finish building the plaza before they took him to court and defeat him., now he pays them rent.
