Obi1kenobi: I came here to keep up with the thread, only to discover 2 nincompoops have spent the last few hours spamming several pages of the thread with their childishness and stupidity and I can't even be bothered to keep searching more pages that haven't been afflicted with this idiocy. I keep asking myself why the Anambra and Igbo community on Nairaland had to be cursed with a plague like Chino. It's incredible how one single abomination of a human being can strip every Igbo thread on Nairaland of all cogency and intelligent discourse by behaving like a demented cretin. I wonder his state of mind often..like it this how he acts/thinks in real life? |

sanctity454: Apart from IGR and employment opportunity, related and supply value chain companies in gas sector will spring up, improved power supply will be ensured piped gas to industrial clusters is very feasible here even the govt or shell can do it after reaching an agreement. IMO state will automated become the preferred location of gas power plants. These in combination with waltersmith modular refinery in the same region the future is bright luxury real estate will come into town especially modern office space. shell is also building their own in that same location..I just hope that aspect of piped gas to industrial clusters within the state works out well because the state needs it badly..also the state govt has to key into this |

So why can't the new governor from Owerri start with development in other parts of Imo abandoned by Okorocha? Instead, the new governor is still on Owerri development show, providing water for Owerri, but not for other areas, build ten roads in Owerri but build one road each outside Owerri? keep quiet enyi..I guess the ideato erosion work, hospital road orlu, mgbidi oguta road and avutu poultry road pencilled for for rehabilitation are in owerri |

The approval followed a recommendation by the Management of Imo Water Corporation, considered by the State Executive Council.
Deputy Governor of the State, Rt. Hon. Gerald Irona, who presided over the Executive Council meeting, assured stakeholders that the state Government will monitor the rehabilitation process, with a view to ensuring that it is done according to specifications.
He explained that the project will be executed through direct labour, while the approved funds shall be released in tranches.
The Deputy Governor reiterated the resolve of the administration, under the leadership of His Excellency, Chief Emeka Ihedioha to tackle the decay in infrastructure in the state.
The Executive Council also considered reports on the state of infrastructure in Imo, necessitating the resolve to declare a state of emergency on Infrastructure in the state.

ImoPatriot: Imo State Capital to wear a New Look- Emeziem
By: Chimdiebube Anosike, Agency Reporters
The special adviser on Environment and Sanitation and the GM ENTRACO, Hon. Alex Emeziem, Jnr, has reassured the good people of Imo State of His Excellency, Gov. Emeka Ihedioha,s readiness to transform the State Capital, Owerri into a modern city.
The ENTRACO Boss made this known while flagging-off the first phase of Afforestation in Owerri. The Afforestation exercise which is expected to see a minimum of 5000 trees planted within the next three months, will be captured along the major roads and places in the State Capital.
Emeziem expressed the readiness of the state government to have an organized city. He noted that the agency will ensure that street trading along major areas in the state, unauthorized parks, especially those loading by the road side and roundabout, and other unauthorized activities in the state capital will become a thing of the past in the next couple of months.
On the conduct of ENTRACO Staff on task duty, the former State Assembly member said that the agency is determined to sensitize their staff on the need to perform their duty with utmost sense of discipline. He noted that I.D cards will be given to both Ad-Hoc and permanent members of staff to checkmate the activities of criminals who may be operating in disguise.
Recall that the Governor had launched the #GoGreenStayClean Environmental policy, aimed at restoring the lost glory of Imo as the cleanest state in the country.
Hon. Emeziem was in company and of Chief Chinedu Chukwuonye, CUDUC, alongside Staff of Imo State ENTRACO. via I hope this administration isnt going to be another owerricentric one |

neoclassical: Ebonyi Enugu-Abakaliki Expressway; Abakaliki-Afikpo Expressway; Amasiri-Okigwe Expressway; Ivo-Oso Edda Road and some roads linking the hinterlands in the state.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/06/from-south-to-east-north-to-west-the-133-deadliest-roads-in-nigeria/
Who posted this trash here? For you to have mentioned some of those roads in Ebonyi State means you are high on hard drugs. All the Ebonyi State roads you mentioned here are so clean without a single Pothole. Abakaliki-Afikpo Road is a clean tarred road, Amasiri-Okigwe Road has a "Nylon Tar" which was constructed by Former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, his home town is along that road in Ivo LGA. In further display of your ignorance, you mentioned Ivo-Oso Road, which is still part of the Amasiri-Okigwe Road. This is pure trash. Vanguard or whoever posted this trash should always do a thorough research before posting stuff like this. he isn't talking about smoothness of the roads but security issues on the roads |
