Computers / Re: Windows 10 Problems And Solutions (official Microsoft Windows 10 links added) by AshipaEk0: 8:32pm On Jun 29, 2020 |
Please I bought one Dell Latitude from a Nairaland vendor, well packaged lemon. After 4 days of barely any use, I discovered it wouldn't power on. It would just be blinking the power button LED only. It would eventually come on after 2 days, and work normally for a day, then repeat the same thing. Fellow has refused to replace the laptop or refund. Anyway, does anyone know what could be wrong with the device? It won't power at all so I can't even get to bios. I've tried removing all components from board, but no difference. I was told it's a common Dell problem. Beware of Nairaland sellers o. |

Hello Gentlemen, My apartment has this issue where literally all the appliances have small current on the bodies, especially the ones made with metal. They zap you with small electricity when you touch them. I've been told its because the building isn't earthed. Please is there something i can do to help the situation, other than doing the earthing rod stuff. its a rented place |

mctfopt: MTN Lumos is a product of ignorance and a failed product clearly. compare it with this one in the video this is a proper setup. This will replace a small generator easily with no need for the owner to even know how it works How many people buy generators and even know anything about it beyond pouring fuel. Thats the type of person i mean. If you know about cells and bus bar, you are not in that demographic 3 Likes |

AshipaEk0: When companies start building these things in portable packages like this without fancy needs, with clear ratings and capacities with protection. One can imagine them coming in sizes and capacities like petrol generators. then RE will gain proper traction in poor Africa These fancy setups and builds that require Engineering degrees that you enthusiasts are doing are not the way forward for mass adoption Then solar panels will be a standard feature in houses and you'll just bring your own gen and plug it in to charge |

Those places you are referring to, the unlimited is not on mobile data. the problem here is last mile connectivity. You should normally not be relying on mobile GSM data. 2 Likes |
