Politics in Nigeria makes us to attach too much important to an unimportant things. No other countries on earth celebrate GWR the way Nigerians celebrate it. |

donteebalo: She has plenty travel history, and she has traveled to Canada before (2016). She has a 10-year UK visa and Irish visa. She has been to shengen countries too. But for her application, I uploaded her passport data page and a copy of NIN document only because those were the only 2 documents they requested from her. While her Canada visa application was still pending, she went for US visa interview and the visa was denied. 1 Like |

oluayebenz: The issue is deeper than that. They have accommodation issues, and most of the applicants waited for over 6 months before they could get a bed space in those buildings where they housed the asylum seekers. Also, Nigerians are abusing it because most of those seeking asylum in Ireland are those who followed school routes to the UK. They crossed to Ireland because they couldn’t meet up with the tuition. |

Drickstore: That’s not correct. You have to look for a job while you’re still here in Nigeria. After getting the job, you can go ahead and apply for a work visa. https://enterprise.gov.ie/en/what-we-do/workplace-and-skills/employment-permits/employment-permit-eligibility/highly-skilled-eligible-occupations-list/ |

Soraco57: The Irish Embassy used the FIFO method in their visa processing. It takes about 3 months to process, and it's first come, first served. You can't fast-track, and it has been like that for years. You can as well check their week decisions to see. |

Wonuola111: I am fairly certain that you have fallen for the false narrative that your agent is trying to feed you, claiming to know individuals at the embassy. This your agent’s story is old, people don’t fall for that of story anymore. The truth is that you have entered a one-chance passenger bus. Anyway, all the best. 5 Likes |

Wow, this school is built for the super rich because this tuition is out of reach for an average Nigerians, even those whose parents live abroad can’t afford this. 42000000 naira is about $38000. This is even more expensive than most foreign universities. |

DeepSight: Let us be law abiding. If our law or policy go against doing it, then we should all adhere to that law or policy. Things work perfectly ok in those advanced countries, not because they are better than us, but because they majority of them obey their laws. We need to stop this bad culture. |

Eriokanmi: If you don't believe that one can get a Schengen visa through the France Embassy within 5 business days, then you're new to the France Embassy. Most frequent travelers who apply for Schengen visas through the France Embassy get decisions within 5 business days. My wife went for biometrics on Friday, January 12, and she received a passport pick-up message on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. That was just like 2 or 3 business days, and she was granted a 3-year Shengen visa. 1 Like
