NaijaRoyalty:Very very bad way of keeping people behind bars without trials . some are there for offences that should have been settled amicably and it resorted to court , secondly is raiding of innocent people . its terrible ATM alone at kirirkiri is 3kplius God save Nigeria from imminent collapse |
akin9ja78:Develop your business plan . I can agree we cannot shy away from the usual red tapism and bureaucracy . If you have good business plan they can help you. At least I know going concern that got 750million. If foreigners can access loans , why can't we ? Once you divert what the loan is meant for , then problems beckons. There are lots of business plan you can come up with . Especially , production of........... Machineries are available to help you start any production you have in mind . |
biobab23:No be doctored account them go present . |
Remember , what is applicable to one may not be applicable to you. Different luck,, different destiny, different approach , different style, different orientation, different emotions , different intelligence. Markowiz theory says " For any given level of risk , there is an expected negative or positive return Your own time will surely come |
Racoon:They want to strangulate the people by all means . What ever good or bad you think you are doing to others , you are simply doing it for yourself |
Auxtin85:Unless he wants to become Methuselah. Death is inevitable. |
Temptee101:My brother ,if we are pessimistic all the time , we won't be able to find the solutions to our problems . Both followers and leaders are very much guilty in the situation we found ourselves in . We are already pushed to the wall ,and we are even breathing inside the wall , so it will get to a level whereby implosion will occur and we we we would be able to fix things back . Our problems are hydra headed . if we can go back to regionalism , the better for us. Because the federal system is a complete hoax and a disaster whereby a certain part of the federation enjoy 70% of federal character. And there is no element of character in them . |
djdutchbrah:Imagine the same Rwanda has their own national carrier that fly into Nigerian aiirspace. Same with shipping lines . we have nothing to boast of .And we expect to earn more foreign exchange . We are not just competitive as a nation. What stops the presidency to convert the aircraft in their fleet for commercial purposes , , in that way more revenue and expansion will surely come, but we are just wasteful . Joyce banda of malawi did that to make money for the government. The government is a bunch of jpkers. |
BobiNick:I could remember Dr Okonjo iweala was part of their economic team from world bank and she was retained in that country to help them formulate policies to get them out doldrums. That is to say with good sincerity of purpose , accountability, transparency , good faith Nigeria can still turn things around for herself . Though , she tried when she held sway as the minister of finance ,but political sense was more than economic sense from those that appointed her. |
Abfinest007:Not all eggs are rotten among bad eggs . You can always separate the wheat from the chaff |
erico2k2:It was not under- declared . Some importers pay full duty on letter of credit transaction and FOU still stop them . why ? Why all these happen is because either the agent / importer are always in a hurry to go , in the case of container . But if you are so sure of what you have done they will be the one to succumb . Most at times they have their way |
AutoReportNG:You reportage is always on point. You balance things out . no bias , no brown envelope. Love what you do, do what you love Keep soaring |
9jatriot:I don't think is the case . A classical example I cleared a 2010 toyota for a customer who happens to be a car dealer and he did request full duty should be paid on it and I did exactly what he wanted .He emphasized the car is for end user and mostly when the car is cleared they drive it down to Jos. Having paid full duty .Alas custom officer stopped them on the way and the driver has to call me saying they stopped him that actual duty was not paid couple with the fact the driver had another security u agent sitting beside him in the car. At the end of the day , the officer said what i used in getting the car out of the port , the same should apply to hin and at the end of the day he was bribed with 30k to allow them go .A lot of instances like that . When vehicles or consignment has been duly cleared from the port and it went through proper channel of clearance . I see no reason why over zealous officers has to go after such vehicle or consignment . What the custom ought to do is give the car dealers DN (debit not) to pay the differentials on already cleared vehicles What is the essence of valuation from custom? What is the essesnce of CPC. central processing unit ? what is the essence of Inspection acts? What is the essence of releasing at the gate ? What is the essence of gate control ? And they have template which is the standard use in valuation . You can always do a background check to know exact duty paid on a vehicle .its very simple |
princeade86:They are cadavers for the anatomy students for their usual practice. |
lexy2014:. In other saner climes . it is grossly contempt of court. Here we are it is a banana republic republic. |
whizpet:That shouldn't be the headache of the DSS. He should be released ASAP . |
Didi2d:They are simply growing their economy . which ever way money gets into their treasury . all is money . |
TooNoisy:Off course he should sue . He has the inalienable right to do that and it will surely de-market them . Their customer service is bad if they cannot tolerate passengers that boards their plane. When they see swift competition they will sit tight |
When did phone starts committing traffic offences ![]() If God will catch him, the storage will still be intact If has been diligent in his duties , he has nothing to fear . He will be charged for malicious damage.which is a contravention of the law . He has simply committed a Tort |
Houseofglam7:Psychosis is hidden in some people without notice . OCD - obsessive compulsive Disorder is well profound this days . He won't be able to expain what made him to stab the brother . The deed has been done , eyes will be clearer now before the Judge |
BluntBoy:Love could be extremely wicked at times You wont decipher what made you fall in love in the first instance |
iAudio:They have been hiding it for long . If they should increase we will still swallow it . No revolt . we adjust at all times . |
OBAGADAFFI:I bet you if you can stand your ground all the time they will avoid you like plague. Bad jobs - contraband , ammmunition get faster clearance , the custom will be the one to escort the goods out of the port . If its a good job - full duty paid they dont like it. Bad jobs gives them pot bellies |
Mr100Dollars:Nothing in all cases |
Story for the God's, how much can the said customs account for from the billion they generated morealso how many Nigerian can afford to pay the huge amount of duty payment.[/quote I wonder where they keep the money oh o. During GEJ PAAR was introduced and it eliminated the use of scanning machines at Apapa port and the commission of 1% FOB became PAAR VALUE to customs and the former CG WAS alledged to have embezzled 42billion naira from the scheme. I later read he entered allocutus with the EFCC. That was the end of it all So much waste, duplication of agencies and large scale corruption pervades our economic sphere |
Edygrin:You said there should be online system in place which has been in place for more than 11 years Unless you mean they should improvise on the system in place now . |
InvisibleWriter:Electionrobbery should come into the electoral acts as soon as possible. .the highest criminal offense under felony |
OBAGADAFFI:Very true . its only condoms that has 0 duty . that does not mean you won't pay some other component of taxes Very funny abi Constant delays at the port rest squarely on the custom . if they Dont release from the system is a big problem and they Dont care about demurrage , but by the time you stand your ground that you have done your own part by paying correct duty or you petition the service that is when they know you are serious. Other agencies can also frustrate you the likes of NAFDAC, NDLEA, SON, CIU, Enforcement, FOU . FOU , they can frustrate the hell out of you when you must have paid the actual , they will stop you just to extort you , but if you are not in a hurry without minding demurrage charges it will be worth the while . |
Pastors' obsession with sex nowadays is disturbing. Anyway, that is his opinion and he is mostly ignorant if he is referring to the entire sexual encounter. If he is a 5-minute man and his wife likes it, fine, but he should not imposed it on others. But I doubt his wife likes it (she may just be managing him). The entire encounter lasting just 5 minutes is too short. It is a fact that many women cannot attain climax within such a short time. Some can take up to 20 minutes. (Google it) Looking at the video, the women in his congregation were visibly upset because what he is proposing is the kind of sex that will only satisfy the man in most cases which is not right. The woman should be satisfied too else, she will begin to hate intercourse or be tempted to look elsewhere which will lead to problems in the marriage. So congratulations pastor, you are about to break many homes! He does not know that some men experience PRIAPISM - a condition in which the joystick erection last more than 4 hours . More importantly , the libido in women is completely different from men , while some women enjoy full penetration when thrust, , other women prefers pre-intimacy to climax Its all about balance not the numbers of minutes , hours one engages in intimacy |
Pettyprincess:What about herbalist and doctors ? |
TPound:Some telecommunications equipment are very costly . If you have a CIF value of 860,000,000 and you are paying 10% of that . how much is that Lots of communication companies pay duties running into billions of naira. |
