That is true. Flexibility and some "give" are needed. People need to also be patient and wise too. You might only meet that balance 2 or 3 times at most and many people are not prepared to handle it. By the time they are ready they cant find such a person.

It is obvious women are part of the problem. They are too choosy, they ignore majority of men. Soon we will find older women marrying guys younger than them to ocmpensate.

I am of the opinion that it shouldnt matter. A single mum should be able to meet and get married. Hell, I wouldnt mind marrying one myself. He only requirements I have is that I have full discipline over the kid and the kids father not play an active role in the childs life. Other than that I am cool.

Sacred scriptures need no modification because I believe firmly that it is the inspired word of God and God's words are true for all time...all that is needed is better understanding and the right application.

Having said that, I do agree that there is a need for everyone to keep abreast with the changes in our world but these changes for the Christian shouldn't be against the dictates of Sacred scriptures.

Really? How can that be possible when humanity develops and changes? Few laws remain 100% consistent through time. Society develops, evolves and the laws evolve to match society.

What if the society changes oppose scripture? What would happen? Would it be accepted or rejected? Society in the west accepts homosexuality, scripture doesnt. A Christian working in a marriage registry would have to allow same sex partnership in the west as their job, their religion however dictates otherwise. Who loses out?

(2) was miraculously conceived (mohammed was born the earthly manner).
(3) did not die but was taken up by God (mohammed died an earthly death).
(4) will come back to take rulership of the earth (mohammed will not).
Looking at all these points and others tht space ll nt allow me to add, is it not then reasonable to say tht Jesus was somewhat greater in status than mohammed?
Even if I were to be a muslim and out of obligation admit that Jesus is not greater than mohammed, I wld still ve to agree tht they were equals since they were both prophets of God.
My question then is this; why are muslims so quick to go on the offensive when the name of Mohammed is blasphemed and yet they act so passive when the name of Jesus is blasphemed in thesame vein (even more). Are muslims by this act not placing a prophet of God over another prophet of God. Have muslims ever sat down to consider this. Does the Quran support this form of discrimination?

I am just calling him out. From my understanding, it is a guide to how to live according to Gods preference. In a perfect christian world, we would all be living according to the scriptures.

We need something that can be modified and be understood in the relevant context. The bible does not fit that role due to its lack of detail and clarity. It is hence not a suitable guide for modern civilisations. Modern Christians should look to getting it "modernised" to suit current standards.

You need to actually listen to some of his statements. He is advocating for some very odd things. I would be shocked if any christian reckoned with him.

Also, it is important for religions to be secular. It is the non secular religions that are the most problematic today

The issue arises out of her not sticking with the dude. She should have married him early and settled with kids. No, they prefer to wait until they find someone financially buoyant and that normally gets to the dangerous 28 yrs deadline. At 28, a few "failed" relationships would push any woman into the desperate mid thirties range.

I dont think things are that bad. There are plenty of available men. Most women just dont want them . They want the ready made millionaires.
