I absolutely agree with you but the lines then become blurred.

It would imply that to get a passport for your baby you have to then prove that you are not an illegal immigrant. It complicates things a bit.
That man Trump is mean when it comes to immigration and thats why he is leading the polls for Republicans party in upcoming US election. I pray he doesnt win, because if he does win,it will be a big problem for Child birth US automatic citizenship or anything that concerns immigration in US. If u can remember he is the same man that continuously attacked Obama to produce his Birth certificate, That Trump is a pure racist by birth.

Oliseh is my best Nigerian player ever; I will never forget those tears in Gh/Nig 2000 finals. Patrick Mboma made me cry to sleep that night and I woke up hoping it was all a bad dream.

Anyways, somewhere in Manchester last weekend

Part two (secondary inspection) please bear with my long story of life but I have been getting emails To post my Houston POE experience so I had to make out this time to do it. So read below

They threatened I will be sent back and right there I saw pregnant women been sent back (although their stories sef tire me too so I no blame the immigration) and all efforts to explain myself was just abortive. I started praying ohh until the last guy came and called my name so I went into his office with him and God just used him to set me free. He went through all my docs and he saw the email I sent to London/Abuja consulate informing them about my change of plans (I got my visa in london) and the response from both sides. He said his problem now is that I have no money but I insisted I have more than enough that he should check my cards with ATM. He asked if he can see my budget sheet (God bless Phema because I copied her pattern) and also access my account online, I said sure so I switched on my phone and logged into my GTB internet banking and he saw the money and started calculating based on my budget sheet and God knows what exchange rate he was using. After that he was convinced and didn't bother to check my other cards (even when I reminded him) and he explained to me to get my receipts for every payment just incase I am asked next time. He stamped me in till next year and I thank God. Other pregnant women where there but we didn't talk ohh, na so I run for my dear life.
.Note: Houston Poe isn't advisable if your situation is not straight and note that they are aware of Nairaland because the immigration man told me about it.
Good luck to everyone. Na baby arrival we dey wait ni grin
U took a very big risk & a big gamble, but thank God that everything went well at last.God is wonderful.

I am due early Nov, intend going thru JFK. I am caught between renewing my visa cos it expires Nov 20th. So i really havent made up my mind on whether to renew or just use the existing visa. Could u please advise?
U can use your visa to arrive at the US POE till the last date the visa expires,it is the CBP officer that determines how long u will stay even if it expires while u are in US, just make sure that u left before the date they stamped on your passport. It is written boldly on their website.

@segbas: Yes you can. Send a mail to Cynthia Flores cflores2@obmc.org and request for a breakdown of the hospital OB package list. Remember to write that you have already had discussions with Dr. Fagbohun. Cos each doc has a price he has agreed with the hospital.

Its better if you can get a letter from oakbend med centre, but that said, some american hospitals will not correspond via email for appointments booking, dont know if oakbend does,if they dont, then you are good with Dr Fagbohuns email, since it has an attachment with a compprehensive breakdown of both doctor and hospital fee. Good luck.
Pls is this Email address of Oakbend medical center?

Alright, I just want to know better. because am hoping that my wife will give birth in US, Houston to be precise by next year if God permits. She already have a b1/b2 visa and she has travelled to US in July with my 2 kids for summer holiday. So thats why am following this forum carefully and writing down a lot of important discussions from some Gurus on this forum. Its very educative to join this forum and i wont hesitate to thank all the people that has contributed immensely in one way or the other to make this forum what is today.

Yes someone mentioned it on this forum that her state requires the consent form to be notarised at the us embassy ,while some other states accept notarised forms from any notary public. So find out what is acceptable in the state you are going to.
Pls mamas that have gotten their babies us passport should advice us if the consent form must be notarised by a notary public in the us embassy before it can be used or not
@ anonymous, i beg you o,i no share anything o,i thought i was helping people that needed help o,

Pls dont be offended, i thought i read in this forum that the fathers consent letter for the US passport will be notarised at the US embassy in Nig after the birth of the baby & not just at any notary public?
Babatwi:

@ belfy
There is a consent form for this purpose on the us govt passport website . Here is the link: http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/passports/under-16.html. or you can google " us passport application for a minor under 16 "the form is called DS-3053. Print it out and have your husband fill it in front of a notary public and have the notary public notarise it. This was what i did before i left 9ja for Dalla,so that i can use it when applying for my baby's Us passport. I dint have or use any consent letter at poe . Pm me if you have any dififculty downloading the form ,so that i can email it to you
